It is a very well run hotel. It is very clean, quiet. Facilities are great. The breakfast is quite good. They do have a laundry on site with reasonable prices (we used it! 15K per kilo). They had an iron on demand The shower is great and hot The location is excellent. 13min to the metro. 10 min to all the action but at the same time it is far enough not to hear all the night clubs (we were going to bed at 11PM). There are few amazing (world class) restaurants nearby. A great specialty coffee shop next block. An amazing craft beer place next block

It is not particularly cheap (not expensive also)

The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with all we needed. The hotel is in a really great location - close to poblado metro station, parque lleras and not too far from the provenza either. It was close enough to the bustle but far away enough from too much noise, and we felt very safe. It was an incredible value for what we paid and would definitely recommend. They let us keep our bags there after checkout as well and a nice breakfast is included.

Everything was great enough that it wasn’t too impactful on our stay. However, regarding sleep - the beds are a bit on the hard side so it was harder for us to get comfy. The walls are a bit thin, but it’s understandable- not anything disturbing sleep there at night. Probably the best you’d get with a budget stay with these facilities and location. The last thing was the bathroom didn’t have ventilation so just a musty smell.

the employees have great attitudes, the rooms are large and well equipped and the location is fantastic. the breakfast was nice

some of the interior rooms face the kitchen and are super loud. I had the misfortune to stay in one of these rooms, but then changed the room. there are homeless people sleeping and hanging out around the corner. it feels dodgy if you come home after dark or want to go out for a smoke

Hotel Loyds is a beautiful place to stay in El Poblado, Medellin. It’s strategically located very well where we can walk very easily to Provenza, Lleras, Manila and through the city thanks to the subway, since it’s only approximately 10 minutes away walking. Additionally, all the staff are very friendly and helpful in everything we need. The facilities are very nice and clean.

I had the misfortune of being mugged and the staff at Loyds were extremely helpful in this difficult time. They lent us a laptop, allowed us to use their phones to make international calls so we could cancel our cards, whatever we needed, they helped us with. Thank you very much again Juan Carlos, Yasmin, Alejandra and Jorge!! Also, the jacuzzi was great!

No natural light at all on my room, but that wasn't too bad

Hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. well located in El Poblado close to everything. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Staff was not friendly and did not speak a single word English. Upon arrival they strictly controlled our passports, took copies, checked our migration stamp etc - like a border control. Never experienced something comparable before. Breakfast was very limited, you could choose from 4 options plus a drink and thats what you get. No refill of the drink, no additional sandwich or anything on top. I couldn't even combine several options like e.g. cereals + 1 sandwich instead of 2 sandwiches. Please work on that.

Room Very clean - exceptional staff - breakfast let you feel at home, very good. I will return but will request a room more in the back. Room was to close to the road and its kind a noisy early morning. Will stay again 100%

Infrastructure and staff let you feel at home

Generally, hotels do not match up to the online photos, however my room certainly did. Every member of staff I met was helpful and courteous. Location was ideal. If I was to return to this area, I wouldn't hesitate in booking here again.

Couldn't get the tv's, yes I did say the tv's to view channels, however I did manage to connect them to my phone to watch Netflix. So,not a deal breaker!

I liked the location, facilities, the service, people who work there are so kind, and I think the best part was the breakfast, they offered many options, and the food taste was delicious.

I didn't like the minibar in the room was empty, I needed to call or go to reception to order something. I would have liked to have a coffe maker in the room too.

Very helpful and friendly staff and very nice and spacious rooms with modern and great finishing. Also, the hotel is located in a quiet area but not far from a metro station, restaurants, bars and shopping.

Although breakfast was good, perhaps a bigger variety of options would be great, but we also understand that this is a small hotel with only 18 rooms, which makes it difficult to offer a wider variety of breakfast options. Nevertheless, this is is an excellent hotel based on our priorities and on what we look in a hotel.
