Super friendly and helpful staff, made sure I could get my breakfast as early as possible to check-out on time to arrive to the airport. Great central location, felt safe to walk to late in the evening from the nearby bars and restaurants. Nice shower, comfy bed, tasty sweet arepas :) definitely great deal for the price.

AC had an error and didn't function, since it was only one short night I didn't ask to fix it, but I'm sure they would have done so instantly. Quite loud streets nearby, and not much sound insulation, at least in the rooms facing the street, at one point in the evening there seemed to b a race of some sort very close by, but maybe that's just Santa Marta. By 11pm it was quiet.

Super helpful and nice staff. Location is great, groceries nearby. Clean room. The staff let me store my luggage for 6 days. My door lock did not work initially but the staff put a lot of effort in fixing it asap.

The window in the room (streetfront) was not openable. It would have been nice to let some wind in at night instead of constant AC running. Communication in English was a bit difficult but there wasn't any issue.

The attendance of staff is just incredible. I booked a stay with them after Lost City hike and I was feeling very bad, had to go to the hospital. The staff was taking care of me all night, brought me everything I needed, always asked how is my health, even wrote me while I was in a hospital to make sure I’m doing ok. I am very happy that at such difficult time I stayed at this hotel. Also the location is very central, has a pool and terrace, room has everything you need. And million thanks again to the staff!

For the cheap price you pay, you stay in a real hotel, with a clean room, a terrace with a swimming pool, and a very comfy bed! They also kept my bag for a couple of days while I was doing a trip to Tayrona, and this was free of charge! Not to mention breakfast was offered, I took it to go for Tayrona and the cooking lady kindly wrapped the ham sandwich I took in aluminum foil.

The hotel staff was super helpful with my check in and navigating the neighborhood. The neighborhood was great for walking around and experiencing Santa Marta Beach and Central area. Safe, Friendly, Festive. I found a laundromat nearby and had my clothes washed and folded in 2 hrs and I was running out of clean clothes so it was super helpful. The night area was really cool - lot's of nightlife but really pleasant and chill. The room was clean, comfortable, small but I didn't expect it to be big AC worked , wifi worked really well.

I liked the location a lot, you can go eat something, have a drink or just go to the beach on foot, the staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and comfy.

The hot water takes too long to come out of the shower. Maybe I didn't know how to use it properly and most people would prefer to have a cold shower there but I still enjoy having hot water on demand.

Everything was fine, the hotel was conveniently located, and the room was quite comfortable.

My room was just near the pool area and in the evening guests were screaming and shouting in the pool and playing extremely loud music. I alerted the reception and for a short time it was a bit more quiet but then the noise started again. I don’t recommend taking a room anywhere near the pool. Also, I asked for a wake-up call at 4am as I had an early pick-up for a tour. No one ever called my room. Luckily I had set my alarm clock. I had requested upon check-in to get a breakfast packet to take along, as their included breakfast started too late for me. This was not noted and no packet was at the reception. I was given a packet with another room number, but wondered what would happen to the person in that room! So I would say that the staff is very inattentive and careless.

the staff were EXCEPTIONAL- particularly Andrea Cruz at reception. I was recovering from an illness and she ensured I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I cannot praise her enough for her care and professionalism and attention to detail. I would definitely stay again!

On arrival, the staff was polite helpful and overall they was warming and made me feel welcome. I would advise anyone if they stay at Santa Marta to go to this hotel foods lovely hospitality nice and I’ve got a great balcony of you

They changed me more than stated in my booking. Because I was on a long trip with everything packed, I couldn't verify what they were charging me. I'd have to first unpack in my room to verify, but they didn't allow that.
