Very nice boutique-like place in the centre of Santa Marta. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and dealt with our (for us unusually large amount of) service requests. The location is brilliant for all things in central Santa Marta - museum, restaurants,... The rooms are all nice, our group stayed in all three different versions, the range from nice/adequate to 'you get your additional little living room' is nice, and the whole property has character. Well done! Breakfast has a few options and is taken on a beautiful balcony, the ladies run the stairs with your pancake and you can feel a bit special being there, and think you don't want to start the day yet. Price/quality made sense. And yes, it's all pink, even the shampoo is rose-based, the kind of touch I like.

They're in the centre of an old town, water piping in different forms (in and out) is a bit of a challenge.

We booked Casa Rosa just for the one night out of our 4 night stay in Santa Marta the other 3 nights were spent in Rodadero, my only regret is not staying at Casa Rosa longer. It is the most beautiful hotel in the historic area of Santa Marta. But what makes it even more special than it being one of the most beautiful 200 year old houses I’ve ever seen, is the friendly staff and service they give you. Luisa was amazing at check in, she had the most friendly and welcoming smile and always made us feel welcome. We had to leave casa rosa early at 6am to get to the airport. The staff at casa rosa opened up the kitchen for us earlier than they had to just make sure we had some breakfast. Carlos made us some nice scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, juice, coffee and everything above and beyond our expectations. Thankyou casa rosa for giving us a very memorable night for our last night in Santa Marta. A even bigger thankyou to Luisa and Carlos, we appreciate your hospitality and next time we come to Santa Marta we will be staying at casa rosa again :)

Nothing it was perfect

What a beautiful place and so close to everything. But the staff is fantastic!! They are warm, happy, welcoming and so ready to help in every way. Breakfast was surprisingly wonderful - in the upstairs salon - that looked like an old living room with a huge couch, balcony, huge wooden table and outside seating. It's lovely!! Super close to the pier to load for tours and have yummy meals. Also a public beach with minimal waves and not that dirty!! Though many locals go there in the morning to work out and at night to spend good time with their families. Cool free museum around the corner and a short walk (maybe 15m to the public market where one can board buses to Tyrona and other beaches).

Little bit of construction noise one of the mornings but - they sent a text asking if it was ok (which means they were AWARE of my presence and wanted to respect my stay and rest) AND it's a old part of town so progress is important.

The staff was incredible, the room and living room was amazing, the decore interior, exterior is amazing. The location is little dodgy, but not more than it's only one street away from the main street. It's 3 hotels opposite each others, so it's fine. Also it was Netflix and PS4 there. I loved the hotel, and they are really caring about their guests

One night I got locked out, BUT the management was very apologizing and said it will NEVER happening again, and I believe them. They took action, and the rest was perfect. I ended up getting an emergency room from a neighbor hotel, but again. This was one mistake that can happening with everyone. Also the aircondition in the living room was not giving enough cold wind, but it's was nothing big deal. Also the lady that checked me out asked for 10 stars, when I get asked, I remove few stars. So the main reason I didn't give full stars was because of her question about 10 stars. I would said it's no worry to ask about rating, but not mention how to rate.

We were meant to stay at casa rosa (which we’d stayed at previously and loved) but unfortunately there was flooding due to thunderstorms. Very quick and good communication from team to put us in alternative hotel without additional charge - casa Charlotte. This hotel is gorgeous, such nice features and clean rooms. Hot showers with lovely free toiletries. Could not recommend more - the staff who helped us switch hotel and also the lady who made us a delicious breakfast were lovely - so friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend staying here - divine.

Fantastic staff as always. Everything is very clean and they have great attention to detail. They even have a little candy snack/coffee bar out in the afternoons for guests to nibble at. The breakfasts are delicious! The soaps and hair products are great and smell super yummy too.

The only thing I can think of is that the rooms, while really cute, don’t have natural light if you want to keep the bugs and heat out. They have the pretty wooden shutters but you have to keep them closed because the windows don’t have glass. (We’ve stayed in quite a few of the rooms as we go here with some frequency) I’ve seen the same at other hotels so maybe it’s not uncommon in Santa Marta?

Our room was great! Room was clean and large, even had a little sitting area with the tv that you could close off from the bed area - which is nice if you don’t want to go to sleep at the same time. The location is so good!! Literally steps to the happening area or the beach. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was very good too!

The pool they advertised on the site is a bit misleading. It was like a bathtub in a hallway and was kind of dirty so not inviting at all - but they do allow you to use the pools of neighboring hotels if you really want to, so I’m guessing they know it’s not good.

Boutique hotel style. The location is perfect at the historical centre. Just at 2 min walking you have bars and restaurants. The staff were very kind to keep our luggage as we went to Tayrona, arranged taxi and even breakfast to go early in the morning. It was hard to chooy from the many hotels in the area that seemed similar, but we definitely recommend casa Rosa . We stayed in the first day of the trip and the last ( so you should know that it was only 2 days in the end). Perfect for short stays.

The location was excellent in the historic district and close to the beach. The room we had was a good size itself but also with a little sitting room attached, great to be able to spread out. 2 x a/c both worked well. Cute touches like sweets and popcorn available in the evenings in the lounge area, lots of decorations in pink! Staff helpful with anything you want to do. Breakfast was good.

Pretty sure it was advertised as having a pool, but the pool isn't in this hotel but one of their other ones. Service at breakfast was slow but was because there was only 1 staff member attending. They had to serve everyone, do checkouts and run up and down stairs with the meals so not staff fault, just don't be in a hurry.

The outside of the house is lovely, very pretty. The room was very big and had lovely high ceilings, little lounge area with netflix. First hotel to have conditioner, which was fab. The location is great, right by the busy area of Los Novios and by the beach but the hotel was very quiet. Tasty (but slow) breakfast on the balconies upstairs in the morning.

The only issue we had was getting back in. The key you had was only for your room and not the front door, they have a doorbell but I'm not sure it worked so you had to knock or shout or peak through the window to get someone's attention to let you in. Perhaps if we had stayed longer we would have asked them the best solution to the problem. We were never outside for too long, but would have been good to have been told the system before leaving.
