The names of the rooms were cute and easy to remember. The included breakfast was good and located close by. Location is very central and quiet.

Was not informed of the side door, had to figure out our myself. Also, staff was not around when we checked out so I had to leave the key in the door and message afterwards, going that was ok. It would have been good to be told what to do if that happens.

Modern, clean, rooms with hot water - beautiful courtyard setting. centrally located. It was a real surprise from the outside to enter a little hidden oasis. David was incredibly helpful in reception as were the laundry girls. Highly recommend and the value for money was incredible. one of the best places we stayed in CR.

Minor issue but- There were no windows in the room - the AC worked brilliantly but it just felt a little dark during the day and stuffy at times.

Breakfast is so delicious. The hotel is located in an optimal location near great restaurants and the beautiful local park. The check in front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was super clean.

During breakfast hours, the waiters were curt and slow during. Important to keep in mind if you have to eat before an early morning excursion. The room could use a hook to hang up your towel as well as a full length mirror.

This hotel has the best deal in town, because everything here is very very expensive, key chains cost more than $5US dollars, a few key chains can let you sleep comfortably in this hotel, very New with air conditioning. Very clean, Wi-Fi is super fast too. I didn't realize this hotel is so great, I thought I booked a hostel.

Nothing, everything is perfect, except for the weather, it was raining, ruined our activities.

Very central location near the main square and the bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and tried to help us when we experienced issues with our bank cards. The room was spacious and very clean. There was AC and hot water. Breakfast was served in front of the hotel and there were a few options, although the menu was the same every day.

We enjoyed everything.

The staff was super attentive and friendly. The pictures and location are accurate. The room has all you need including blowdryer, coffee maker and cups. Breakfast was definitely a A+. I definitely recommend La Vid Hotel for your next trip to La Fortuna.

Really good central location. Restaurant is also really nice too, friendly staff. Room was very clean, and nice sheltered area to sit outside of the room too.

Can hear the road traffic from the room and the other rooms through the vents, but not really an issue and is a central location so can’t really expect to not hear the road traffic

The stuff is very nice and the hotel is in the center of La Fortuna. Supermarkets and restaurants are in walking distance. The room is clean and as shown on the pictures.

Sometimes it's a bit noisy. For example if there's live music in any pub nearby.

The location was great. Right in the middle of town. I don’t usually eat breakfast so I don’t know if it was good. The young lady at the reception desk was quite pleasant and helpful.

The jalousie window in the bathroom was in a state of minor disrepair and would not fully close. This made the room a bit noisier from the street traffic but with the bathroom door closed it was not too bad.

Exceptional cleanliness, very kind and helping staff, awesome breakfast from La Vid Steakhouse just across the road. The staff went beyond expectations to help me organise my tour and taxi. Great coffee in the room. The welcome drink was an added bonus. You can also see the Volcano from just across the corner of the street.

The wifi kept breaking but this could be easily fixed and was probably just a temporary issue.
