This hotel was our 2nd stop on honeymoon in Costa Rica, and the staff showed us such genorisity and kindness! On arrival, we were given really helpful information about La Fortuna and the activities we could do during our stay, before being shown to our room. All the bungalows were well spread out, off beautiful wide pathways paved with amazing flowers and plants. When we got to our room, we were greeted with a honeymoon card, baloons, flower petals and a bottle of bubbles which we enjoyed on our terrace watching hummingbirds! The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious. The pool and dining area was also nice, and we enjoyed using the hot tub and playing snooker on the raised deck. Special shout out to Frederico and Fernando, who both made us feel so welcome throughout our stay and were so helpful - organising rapelling tours on our behalf, helping us secure a last minute booking at the beautiful Tabacon Hot Springs, and helping us spot wildlife in the grounds of the hotel during the day and night - our favourite being the sleeping toucans! As we departed, Frederico gave us a final gift - a photo of us in the hotel forest as a fridge magnet. Really thoughtful! Thanks Noah’s Forest!

One recommendation we would make is to have bedside tables in the room, but otherwise our stay was perfect ☺️.

We are very lucky to have travelled to many countries and of all the hotels we have stayed in, Noah's Forest is by far #1 for us - it is luxurious and relaxing without being pretentious or feeling exclusive only to people of a certain economic status which these days, is incredibly refreshing to see... The hotel, facilities and rooms are of course all beautiful however it was the staff that really made our stay as wonderful as it was. When we arrived, the lady who first checked us in and the gentleman who later helped with all of our queries were so welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed a hand with - they really are world class. Steven & Dylan in the restaurant and bar were both wonderful too. Each of them at their respective jobs, were attentive, friendly and engaging, taking the time to chat to us, offer their suggestions on the hotel, food, drinks and also local area tips. Usually we don't use hotel restaurants but again, they were so welcoming that we loved spending time there. Even the housekeepers, groundskeepers,kitchen and maintenance all took the time to say hello every time we passed and the gentleman who was checking for litter, when we checked out even took the time to show us where the sloth was sleeping and let us use his binocilars to take a look. It's the little things that really do make a big difference. We will be coming back to Costa Rica again in the furure and will absolutely look to come and stay with you again - in a our humble opinion, a masterclass to all others in how a hotel should look, run and feel. Our stay at Noah’s forest really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful and peaceful location, in the middle of nature and very well curated, amazing ambience even in the restaurant, surrounded by green. We felt welcomed since the first moment we arrived and until the last one when we left: a special thanks to Anna, Daniel, Alan and Jafeth who we had the pleasure to meet, who gave us tips and recommendations on activities, places to visit as well as accompany us around the hotel to show us all the amazing plants, let us taste Costa Rican fruits as well as spotting sloths. beautiful bungalows lots of privacy staff very very helpful Modesto and Daniel, the gardeners showed hummingbirds and sloths. David at reception have an excellent frog nightwalk , charming too with perfect English. many thanks also to Anna and Seyris and all reception staff who dealt with all very minor issues quickly and efficiently Steven in the restaurant was also lovely

building work going on which was sometimes noisy and three different t types of music at the same time.. at the pool the restaurant and pool table which was also a bit too much sometimes

We liked it so much that we returned and stayed again! The bungalows are tucked away private so you feel as if you are completely alone, until you go to the restaurant for meals. Shout out to Juan Carlo for the amazing dinner service each evening at the Acacia restaurant! Not only did he remember our names but he had memorized our allergies, our food preferences and our drink preferences from day one! Eat at the restaurant, it’s the same price as in town but the quality is far far superior! The jacuzzi on the patios looking into the forests watching for sloths (yes there are sloths!!! Ekkk!) was pretty incredible! Overall it’s an amazing property and they do everything possible to ensure you are having a five star rainforest experience! You will not regret staying here.

hotel was in a great location, very close to La Fortuna city center but in a more quiet area. The hotel grounds are stunning. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow with spa bath and were so happy we paid extra for the spa bath. It was nice to hop in and cool off after a day of hikes. There are so many birds and animals just on the property. We spotted several sloths, including a 7-month old baby sloth very up close. The staff at the hotel was amazing! shoutout to Marvin (groundskeeper/handyman) who pointed out all the sloths to us. The restaurant crew was amazing as well. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and always very fresh. We did the free nightwalk at the sister hotel and I can highly recommend this. Unbelievable it is for free and you get to see so many nocturnal animals. One of my fave tours. We spent 4 nights at Noah’s and could have easily stayed 4 more nights. Of the 5 hotels we stayed at in CR - Noah’s had the best service!

Nothing really, although I wish they had a water kettle in the room. Ticos love their coffee and are not big on tea. They offer tea, coffee, water and cookies in the lobby. But it would have been nice to not have to walk all the way from the lobby to our bungalow with hot tea, which reception

Comfortable and spacious room in bungalow, all well-separated from each other. Attractive pool area with occasional volcano view, through the clouds. Excellent, innovative breakfast dishes; and friendly staff at all points. Around 25 minutes level walk into the town centre, on a fairly quiet road; a little nearer is the superb Travesia restaurant. A well-run 'coffee and cocoa' farm / visitor attraction (Donjuan) is right next next door

A little isolated, other than as noted above. We didn't try the restaurant, but it seemed expensive for the area. No bar, just a few seats around reception.

We loved location and spacious beautiful rooms. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were super nice and helped us organise our activities and massages, Angelica at the reception was a star! We absolutely loved our stay and felt very relaxed. We had 4 massages in our rooms and they were all fantastic.

The only small irritation was that there is an area of gravel road between reception and a path leading to accommodation so one can’t pull the luggage all the way and instead we had to carry heavy suitcases for over 100 meters from the reception and again from the room to the car parking lot. If there was a narrow paved path to avoid us carrying luggage it would have been much better

We loved every second of our stay here! Everyone who worked there was so friendly - we loved our chats with Anna, Stephen, David and Dylan! The food is out of this world - one of our favorite breakfasts of the trip. The food is definitely prepared to a high standard with love and care taken. The room was very spacious and the bed was sooo comfy. Some of the best sleep I have had in ages. The location is great - a 5 min drive to La Fortuna where there are lots of places to eat and drink and on a clear day you can get a fantastic view of the volcano. We would also highly recommend the free night walk the hotel offers. We saw lots of frogs and plants and our guide (we forgot his name from him, sorry) was amazing. So friendly and knowledgable and truly very passionate about his job and his country. We will be recommending it to all of our friends!

By far, the best hotel we have ever stayed in! If you're looking for a place to stay in La Fortuna, look no further! Noahs Forest is absolutely magical! Everything was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are so clean, modern, and comfortable. Every morning, you wake up to the beautiful sounds of the forest, so tranquil. The grounds, the restaurant, the staff, the food, ALL AMAZING! It was such a unique experience and I would highly recommend it. Thank you to the staff at Noahs Forest for making everything perfect :) my 6 year old son especially loved the walks with the gardener to see all of the wildlife :) we saw 3 sloths! Loved all of it!
