I enjoyed the staff the most. Helpful with traveling and what is good in town. I enjoyed the breakfast too. Some of the best breakfast I ate in Costa Rica! They have a cat that will greet you.
The construction of houses and building in Central America is much different than in the States. The walls are very thin and in turn it was difficult to cut off noise pollution from the next room and from the kitchen downstairs. Some of the rooms face the street and can be noisy as well.

Very decent room in a quiet area in San José. Nice staff, safe and clean room, good breakfast (Gallo pinto, coffee/tea, fruits). I would recommend it to everyone who stays for a night or 2. There's a little terrace and bathroom attached to the room. Perfect for us.

Good for a stay over in between buses. Lovely and helpful team who work there, both reception and breakfast. Cosy quiet room and nice free breakfast :)
We got a taxi from the bus station as the area was a little off near the bus station but very close and cheap taxi to hotel and hotel felt very safe and nice :)

The staff doesn’t speak English so we had a miscommunication about breakfast. We thought we could take it with us since we had an early bus but they didn’t have any take out containers.. The location is a bit shady.
