The hotel is nice, with a suitable location near the center of Lovren and close to Opatija. Both places offer nice seaside and street walks, restaurants and shops, with Lovren being a bit more authentic. The hotel is renovated with good facilities. The staff is very friendly and nice, ready to crack a joke or just chat. The mansard room was unexpectedly great, with blinds stretching over a large portion of the room and making it beautifully bright and sky open - great design. The view was stunning, covering both the entire Kvarner bay and the interior. The breakfast was excellent, offering one of the best choices of fruits, cheeses, breads, pastries, drinks, etc. with lots of vegetarian options.

A shoe spoon in the room and USB-C/HDMI cable at the reception would be welcome :) Lots of people nowadays can watch Netflix or other online contents from their tablets or notebooks, and having the ability to watch it on the big screen available in the room would be a welcome addition. The Chromecast is available but does not do the job for web-streamed contents.

The hotel staff was so charming. They create a home away from home feel. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. And the location is perfect - right near a public beach and beach bar and walking distance from the old town and seafood restaurants. This is the perfect spot if you're looking for a relaxing laidback stay, within walking distance of beaches and driving distance of other beautiful Croatian coastal towns and national parks in the mountains. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel in old Vila, in Lovran there is plenty of them so it is nice place with good genius loci. Room was big enough with heigh ceiling, it is noticeable the fit out has some age but all well maintained and clean. Staff was nice and helpful, rich breakfast, parking was on plot. Beach was very close just short walk thru park, as it was between several hotels it was quiet pack but we found another nearby and traveled there

The exit for pedestrians from hotels plot was typical Croatians- no view angle right step into driveway so nothing comfy with stroller. The hotel is a bit difficult to access with stroller as it is old Villa and to reach any floor with elevator you have to pass several steps- but it’s a price of stay in nice vintage Vila that I was ready to pay

The review is for the luxury room with balcony, since the hotel gave us an upgrade room! The cleanliness is at the highest! The staff is welcoming and polite! The breakfast is great, made of fresh ingredients, very tasty! Although the hotel is on the Main Street it was not noisy. The spa is also nice, with affordable surcharge. Parking is secure, also a small surcharge.

Location is great, just a few minutes walk from Lovran shops and restaurants, the room was very spacious, the TV (which we didn’t use) was huge, lovely small balcony over looking the sea, so great view. Staff were exceptional and the breakfast buffet in the morning was very elegant and lots of choice.

Sadly, the only disappointment was the mattress had seen better days, any longer than a 2 day stay, we would have had to request a change in mattress.

The staff was very polite, attentive and helpful. The hotel has its own parking space. Breakfast was superb, and we felt very relaxing to have it outside on the terrace. The hotel is very close to the beach, and not far from the village center, so we did not have to use our car during our stay there. We spent an amazing four days there.

it is not my first time there. I love Lovran, and villa Eugenija is located near the centre, near the beach, near the promenade. They have protected parking, an elevator and nice rooms in an old fancy villa. Breakfast was very good and you can enjoy it outside.

You have to cross a big and dangerous road when you go out. So you have to be careful with kids and pets. And matrasses need changing, beds are great but you can feel depressions in the middle.

Amazing breakfast with lots of fruits and delicious treats. The room was large and very comfortable. The sea-ans sky-view was beautiful. The whole hotel is freshly renovated and very modern without destroying the historic character of the house. The beach is just on the other side of the street and the city center 5-10 min walking.

The shower is quite small in contrast to the spacious bathroom.

Absolutely everything was exceptional. The room was exceptional, from design to cleanliness. Staff is so polite, friendly and professional. We had a great welcome and the whole place made the travel better. Also, the food served for breakfast was fresh and very delicious.

We wouldn't change a thing. Some might not like the price, but it's worth every euro spent.

Breakfast was excellent, room and hotel were very clean and staff was excellent. Our room was great and very spacious. We particularly loved the terrace where there were some very comfortable chairs. Very central location.
