This hotel is in a lovely area if you're looking to get away from the tourist trap but within easy walking distance of the main sites. We walked through the neighbourhood at night and felt totally comfortable and there were excellent, more authentic bars and restaurants all around. The facilities are gorgeous, the finish of everything was top notch and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also great with everything you could possibly need to set you up for a day in the city. Easy link to the airport via the local bus service too.

Only slight complaint would be no tea and coffee facilities in the room. We're fans of a morning cuppa in bed so it's personal preference. There is an in room fridge though which is fantastic for keeping essential water cold!

It's a 4* hotel but we stayed in the depandance, which is classified as 3*. Great breakfast which was till 10 am. You can also have a glass of Prossecco. The view from the swimming pool area, which was on the roof, was simply breathtaking. Check out at 11 am, which was also great. AC worked perfectly in the room and it was quite.

If you book your stay in the depandace then please note there is no lift. Lift is only in the main building. But it was only a couple of steps down to get to the depandance and for us also like 20 steps up as we stayed on the first floor. Basically no view from the window as our room was on the street level (some side street, not the main one) and under our windows there was some basement or something like that. But we didn't mind that much as we were spending the whole days outside discovering the beautiful town and comming back after 8 pm. Pity the shower didn't have the door or something as it was always a bit flooded after the use :). Anyway I would come back again.

The location is quite nice, not far away from the old town but perfectly hide from the crowds.

Fruits at breakfast can be better: watermelon was not fresh...cantaloupe was a bit rotten =_=!!!

The ladies at reception upgraded me to stay in the hotel and were friendly and accommodating, despite seeming stressed from some difficult guests. I had the roof top pool and jacuzzi to myself both times I went up, the sunset was incredible. Comfy beds and a huge bathroom. The breakfast was also great, the biggest selection I've ever seen and plenty for me as a vegan too. There is also a vegetarian restaurant across the road that was great too (upcafe)

It's a 20 minute walk to the old town but easy enough.

The room is very clean, the breakfast is good. We had a nice stay. The historical center of the city is at 20 minutes walking distance far from the hotel.

I was very upset in the end of our staying by the fact that we booked a transfer at the reception desk from the hotel to the airport, the hotel specified a price of 380 kn for this transfer, they even texted us this price in an wellcome message on Booking. When we arrived to the airport, the driver asked for 450 kn, with 15 euro more than the price we knew from the reception desk. I wrote here because we made the transfer reservation through the hotel.

The staff in Art Hotel are so friendly and very helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday (nice to have a dressed bed everyday, as I’m a little lazy & don’t do it myself usually at home). The pool area was perfect, lovely drinks at the bar too! We stayed in the apartments, but it didn’t feel like we were detached from the hotel at all. We even got a little note & some chocolates as it was our anniversary. Very affordable too compared to other accommodation in Split, especially that there is a pool. We would be back in a heartbeat.

Room was nice and clean, breakfast was amazing there were a lot of different options and it was getting topped up all the time and parking was great, the only thing is that you have to step out of the car to ring the bell for the parking gate to open.

Everything was great so I don’t have anything that I didn’t like.

Overall a nice hotel. I liked the rooftop pool which was a nice bonus in hot Split. Breakfast was good. Location is decent - about a 15 minute walk to the old town. Clean and quiet room, but nothing extravagant.

Not very flexible in terms of check-in/check-out times. No early check-in possible, and late check-out only with a fee, and was not possible in my case anyway. (Fair enough, but just fair warning) But there was a room to store luggage.

Room was clean and well-equipped and a good size.

1. Our room was on the second floor of the Annex and despite the description saying there was a lift, there was no lift. 2. There was no door on the half screen on the shower so water went all over the bathroom floor.

The pool was lovely and the rooms were very clean

Location was a little away for the older travellers with us so we had to use taxis a little more than expected but otherwise perfect
