This small hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly and professional, the location was ideal, and breakfast was very nice. The location inside the old city was great.

I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel, but we were shocked by the incredible crowds in Split. It was literally a mob scene in the evening. The crowds were more intense than anything we have ever encountered in our 40 years of traveling. We got up very early to do our site-seeing which worked out. I would recommend coming to Split and this nice hotel during the low-season. Avoid the summer time, too crowded and too hot.

This was a perfect hotel. The location was perfect—about a five minute walk from anything you’ll want to do within Split. The room itself is very beautiful with the exposed stone wall. The shower is my favorite one on this continent :). The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful; I didn’t arrive to Split until 2 am, and there was someone from the hotel who met me at the station and escorted me to the hotel! Just so above and beyond! they gave me personalized recommendations on where to go and importantly where to eat. The on-site breakfast has everything you might need. bottom line, I would stay here again and again and would recommend it to anyone. This set the standard of hotels for the rest of my trip, and nothing else has compared.

Great location, beautiful room, delicious breakfast. This is a very small hotel in a historic location, so don't expect gyms, pools, giant buffets or even an elevator. It's more like a well-kept B&B with attentive friendly staff, perfect location for walking around Split Old Town and popping back to your room whenever you need.

Not complaining at all, but because of its excellent location it comes with a bit of noise in the late night / early morning hours. Also although the size of the room was as large or larger than expected, because there were 3 of us we were tripping over our luggage a bit with the single sofa bed pulled out.

Stayed in Split for just one night having been sailing for a week. This hotel was our luxury hotel for the end of our trip and did not disappoint - it is in a great location, staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was more that big enough although I believe there are bigger rooms which maybe you could ask for. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom lovely. Breakfast was great too - huge choice of food including freshly cooked egg dishes. As I said this hotel is not super cheap but it is defiantly worth the money as a treat and I would book it again.

Such a cute little boutique hotel. With just a handful of rooms we had such good service here. The staff were super friendly, pointing out where to visit and tips for the city. The room itself was small but cosy, with a comfy bed overlooking the courtyard and a bathroom with everything you need and nice powerful shower. The breakfast was superb. It was hosted in a building nearby (a member of staff can walk with you, it's about a 3 minute walk away). I think it is their sister hotel and this was only because they were having some work done to the breakfast area themselves. A huge buffer choice of delicious breakfast items and then a menu to choose your main from. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had! The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the centre of Split. Metres from all of the main sights and the harbour front too. You won't find better. We loved staying here - would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The only tiny thing was the TV was very old and limited choice of channels for the one evening we were back early due to the weather

Charming heritage hotel built in the walls of Diocletian's palace in the old city. Also the former home of Marko Marulic. As cars are not allowed in the old city, a hotel employee met us in an electric cart at the parking garage to take us to the hotel. A hotel employee took us to the breakfast room which was across the square in another property owned by the same hotel. Very helpful staff and eager to please.

It is a heritage hotel and as such, no elevator. Our room was 3 flights up, but one of the hotel employees carried our luggage to the room and down to the electric cart when we left.

This was the most memorable hotel on our European journey. They took such good care of us! Despite staying on the 1st floor near breakfast, our room was peaceful and quiet which was a welcomed surprise! Breakfast was yummy, filling, and romantic sitting in the little window. The staff were very professional and kind. I was worried to leave my designer purse with our luggage while we waited for our boat. She assured me it would be safe with her and it was! Exceptional experience. Would come back without hesitation!

The original ceiling from 1300s was amazing, really felt like we were staying back in time. The AC and modern bathroom amenities were much appreciated, and lighting had many wonderful choices. #2 was a great corner room with a view of the People's Square. We also loved the espresso machine! Very courteous and knowledgeable staff as well.

The door did not keep the noise down of other guests climbing stairs. It was also quite expensive for 1 night's stay, but I guess that's August tourism in Europe.

Central location but surprisingly quiet...an oasis of calm in a busy city. The 3 bedroom building was lovely with inner courtyard views. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and set us up for the busy days ahead and you could also help yourself to coffee anytime of day. Every single member of staff was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. It is a hotel I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone going to Split and it played a great part in making our holiday memorable.

There was absolutely nothing we disliked. From the building itself to the help from the staff everything was first class

This was the most gorgeous little hotel. Only three rooms. the room was so gorgeous small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. right in the heart of the old town. the staff were so helpful and the breakfast great. We ate breakfast in the internal courtyard which was beautiful and a lovely break from the noisy streets. I highly recommend and I would definitely go back. for reference I have stayed at many 6 star hotels around the world but would still come back here if I was to return to Split.
