I'll address some of my main concerns before staying at this apartment: - When I booked this room I was a little worried by the possibility of noise from the streets to disturb my sleep, knowing that Split is a busy city. But I had two fantastic night sleep (Thursday and Friday), and although I could hear some noise from the street, nothing that could disturb me or preventing me of having a great night of sleep. I consider myself a person that gets disturbed very easily if there are noises at night. Granted, my stay was in October, not in August, so I cannot speak for the experience in August when streets are probably packed. - It is a second floor with no lifts. I don't have any issues with that. I can carry suitcases up the stairs. If you can't probably not for you. Stairs are wide and not a problem to climb. - Parking situation: I chose to park for free on the streets. If you look around Omiška ulica (15-20 min walk), you can find spots with some effort. Split is not an easy city to park for free. Otherwise, you can use the private parking that the hotel offers, or other parking garages in the city, but it will cost you around 25-30 euros per day. Other than the above, the apartment is flawless in my opinion. Location is unbelievable, comfort is top-notch. Hosts are great communicators, they will send you lots of tips, and you can always get in touch with them. Self check-in was super smooth.

Nothing unexpected or particularly bad happened with my stay here.

Excellent customer service. Zorica was approachable and helpful. She also gave good travel tips to us. The bedroom was large. We could fit a family of three with 2 suitcases and still ample room to walk around. Location is the best, it is located right in the middle of everything. Beds are very comfortable and despite facing the road, it was very quiet.

Due to being in an old building, the pipes are old and the bathroom has smells coming through these pipes. Likely hard to control given the age of the building though. The other thing is cash payment is required as no credit card facilities. There are limits and withdrawal fees for cash withdrawals in Split, which ended up costing us more.

Pretty incredible location right on the edge of the Old Town & about as close as you can get to the Roman gates. The room itself was modern & spacious with a comfy bed and a cute little balcony overlooking the park. The staff were super friendly, helpful & easily reachable via WhatsApp at all times.

We didn't realise when we booked that our room wasn't in the main property but in a separate building around the corner. It looks like Starlight has purchased a floor of an adjacent building & fitted out a handful of rooms. This was no biggie but would have been nice to know in advance as the building is a bit further from the action and a bit... derelict. The room itself was lovely though!

We stayed in Split for 4 nights, initially planning to stay only 3. However, Split was so beautiful that we decided to extend our stay. Valentina’s hotel has an incredible location—just a few minutes’ walk to the harbor, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and ice cream parlors nearby. You can even pop back to the room to change clothes before heading out for dinner. Everything was incredibly convenient. The room itself was perfect: plenty of hot water and excellent air conditioning. Valentina is an exceptionally nice host who provided us with great recommendations for local restaurants and travel tips. She was truly wonderful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! If I ever return to Split, I would definitely choose this place again!

For an apartment, the cleaning staff was top-notch. New towels and soap/bodywash and shampoo bottles were provided every day. Air conditioning was excellent. The TV functioned well, and there were hot showers most of the time. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower. The location makes it easy to find, and it was not far from paid parking (which can be tricky). Noise was not a problem. Management was available to communicate with. We had two rooms next to each other. Getting into the apartment was not difficult. The decor was great. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The entrance to the building, particularly at night, doesn't feel inviting. The light to the sink should be more pinpointed to the sink, to not disturb those sleeping in the bed.

It was centrally located to everything. The room was modern & very spacious. Valentina our host was very responsive and very helpful with a lot of tips. The checkin process was very easy.

It doesn’t have a reception and requests for extra linens or pillow cases have to be done before 6pm which we didn’t know. It wasn’t a big deal. The room had darker velvet carpet which makes a little darker. Hopefully they can refresh the room with lighter colors.

The thing that made the stay that beautiful is Valentina the host.. She is professional and helpful like no one else.. was glad meeting nice people like her in Split The location is perfect..

No elevator in case u have luggage You need to arrange that before. If you are looking for something fancy, not ur space to be, other wise a very good choice in the heart of split where the taxi can drop you at front door

We liked the location a lot, the room was clean staff were really proactive every day during the stay, they are coming and cleaning the room and providing clean towels and toilet amenities, the host Ms. Valentina she is super approachable and very helpful, whenever u text her she will text u back in a second, because of her our stay was super comfortable and smooth. Thank you Ms. Valentina.🫶

Our stay at luxury rooms was very nice. Host Valentina was excellent, she helped us immediately when we had couple of issues like key card and wifi. Location was perfect as it was in the vicinity of palace, restaurants, bars and shopping . This place is value for money if you consider staying in old town. We highly recommend this place.

Generally a really nice place and good deal

Only ‘bad’ thing was that information about check-in procedure was unclear until a few hours before arrival. And that the communication with the staff was on both Booking.com messages and on phone (sms), which was a little confusing. And oh, finally one thing: The AC was not very efficient. It took several hours cooling down the room.
