We stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms were clean and spacious, fabulous view from the upper-level balcony. we did book ocean view, but our first room was initially on the ground floor with a terrace, and it was more of a garden view. (When booked online all the photos of the room are the upper level with balcony). Staff were lovely & pleasant; they accommodated our request for the 2nd level on our 3rd night which was amazing. Nice that they have Nespresso machines in each room. Great access to the ocean. not much of beach sand space however great snorkeling opportunities and you could also book a lesson for deep diving which I regret not doing. Both restaurants on site were so delicious. It was nice to have the cafe option in the morning for coffee and pastries. It's a great spot, easy to drive around the island to check out other amazing beaches and places to eat. We beach hopped all throughout our stay and did the hike at Christoffel National Park. Such a beautiful Island.

The bathroom shower would leak into the hallway. the shower just wasn't designed correctly for the water to fall down the drain properly. it was a big mess each time we took a shower. Also, would be nice if there was a screen on the balcony door. it's always nice to have a breeze in the evening without mosquitos getting inside. I think it's outrageous that guests staying overnight at the resort have to pay to use the pool area or you have to spend a certain amount of $$$ at the bar and then you don't have to pay for pool use. If you are staying at the resort, then you shouldn't have to pay additional each day to use the pool. that's just absolutely ridiculous.

The ocean view was gorgeous and we had a pretty magical sunset on our first night. Also liked that this had ocean access. unfortunately didn’t get in the ocean because we didn’t realize until we were leaving that there is a spot shallow enough to stand or relax in because it looks like a straight ocean drop from the beach area. Restaurants were great as well. I preferred the lunch/dinner food at the poolside one, to Karakter, the one on the beach but could have just been what I ordered. I also liked the ambience upstairs better. we also had breakfast at bread and more a couple times and really like that as well. We took a tour of the spa and it looked lovely. we unfortunately didn’t have time to get a service but the day pass to use the facilities seemed really worth it. staff were always lovely through our stay.

I didn’t realize there were no elevators and the front desk doesn’t assign anyone to help get bags up the stairs to the room. For a place with “luxury resort” in its name, that wasn’t great at all. My sister and 1 had to struggle to get the bags up before a kind guy offered to help. Location is pretty removed from Willemstad (30 min drive) and there’s not much around. the nearest grocery store was I think a mile away and the second was 8 miles away. The hotel got us a taxi to take us to Willemstad and it cost $60 each way. Airport rides were $50 each way and we had 3 of those so might be worth renting a car if staying here.

The resort is a little remote from other things on the Island, so our rental car was a must. Plenty of free parking available and we went on our way every day without issue. The resort is on a guarded area of the island, with a 24hour security that ID's you on arrival. Our room (600) was oceanview + poolview on the 2nd story with a balcony that we had breakfast/good coffee from the bakery almost every day. There are 2 beach areas next to each other. One has little rocks which do not make is ideal but the other side has beach chairs to lounge and drink and there is an access path to enter the water. The water is extremely clear and beautiful. The pool is big enough for the guests to enjoy without annoying each other. Lots of loungechairs and from the in pool you have a beautiful view of the ocean. Stunning to see when the sun is going down.

The restaurants are a little pricey, but it's worth it because the quality of the food is really good. The pizza from the bakery/pizzeria isn't great, but Karakter and Koraal (restaurants) more than make up for it.

The location is great, it's calm and close to great beaches

The restaurant in the resort is great, but there is only one, plus a bistro with limited offer. That is inadequate giving the number of guests and the fact that there are no breakfast offered. Plus there is no grocery shop in the resort. So if you want to buy food, fresh products like fruits and vegatables or even an ice-cream you have to have a car. The nearest decents supermarkets are in Willemstad, 30 minutes drive.

Our room with sea view and terrace was great, internet and air condition worked well. Views from the Koraal restaurant are just gorgeous. The barracuda dish was superb as well! Senior staff members of the front desk, bakery shop and waiters of the Koraal restaurant were uber friendly and sweet, greeted us with smile. I would recommend this hotel to couples, as a romantic getaway. I would recommend the hotel to establish the usage of “reef friendly” sunscreens, to protect the precious marine life in hotel beach area.

I really wanted to love Karakter restaurant as it’s placed directly at the beach. Sadly, after waiting 20 minutes for 2 cappuccinos and apple pie,I noticed that staff was arguing about something and to top it off, waitress rolled her eyes on me when I ordered our snacks. Perhaps it was just one of those “unfortunate momentums”, but staff didn’t look like they wanna be there at all, they seemed annoyed. I would hoped for better hospitality and warmth from them.

The resort is modern and very well maintained. The Villa had a lot of space and was very practically planned with a nice out door area. The pool area is nice but the beach side is even better. The staff was very friendly and even do we arrived early, we where given towels so we could enjoy our day. There are three different restaurants on the resort and the food was decent and not over priced. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the needed.

It seems like the restaurants and the actual accommodations are two separate companies. You can use the beach and the pool area but it is mandatory to purchase things from the restaurants. At the pool, they would even charge you extra if you don't spend enough. The beach was more relaxed with very friendly staff and good service. The resort is a bit away from everything else so if you want to discover the island, other beaches or restaurants, you need a car.

Coral Estates’ view and private beach are gorgeous. As a whole, the resort is great for the price. We LOVED our ocean view room. We were on the first floor but even so our view was fantastic. It felt totally worth the extra money. That being said, it seemed as though some other ocean view rooms in the same category did not have quite as unobstructed of a view as ours. The room was spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was pretty comfortable. The best part is definitely the ocean view patio. We spent a lot of hours out there. We got a late check out, which was great. They charge $10/ hour after 12pm. It was well worth it. We loved the pool- specifically the view from the infinity pool. You can look out onto the ocean. It was crowded during the day, but we loved going after dinner when no one was there. The beach and the pool are lovely and private. They truly make it special. I’d recommend bringing water shoes as the beach is rocky. It’s a great and beautiful resort for a relatively inexpensive price tho!

The staff is very friendly and helpful but at times not necessarily the most efficient. I totally understand that it’s island time, but everything felt a bit slow. For instance, our room wasn’t ready at check-in time even though we had given an estimated time of our arrival. The food at the restaurants, especially the pizzeria and bakery, could feel quite slow. Our room didn’t get housekeeping until a quarter to 5pm, which was quite late. The rooms were nice but not how I’d personally describe luxury necessarily. Everything was clean though. The design of the shower was such that it spurted water all over the floor. They even gave you a squeegee on a pole to help clean it up. None of this was a dealbreaker though.

We loved everything. Very nice and friendly staff, cozy and relaxing place, privacy, stunning view from the balcony, nicely designed resort in general, coffee capsules replenished when the room was cleaned and more. To sum up, it is a great place to enjoy your holiday. We can highly recommend.

Whenever you want to entrance the Coral Estate Resort area you have to go through a security gate. There you have to prove you are a guest which is OK but in my opinion, it would be useful to provide to guests any "Coral Estate Luxury Resort card" as a proof they stay in the resort. I believe the security guards would appreciate it as well.

It's a great place to stay that has it all at your fingertips. Some highlights were: The location is convenient for getting around the island. Nothing is in walking distance so you will definitely want to rent a car so you can get out and explore. Plenty of parking on site. There's an awesome restaurant with a beautiful sunset view, another restaurant where you can eat breakfast with your feet in the sand by the water, a pizzeria, bakery, as well as pool and beach area. The room was spacious and well equipped. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay if you want a quiet spot away from the noise of the city.

I'm not fussy with beds and can usually sleep anywhere, but the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Could be a personal preference though.

We liked the private pool area which is quiet and not crowded The resort is well laid out and lush gardens throughout. We loved the large balconies.

It was difficult to get a lounge chair at the beach. It's a very small beach and serves a large community. Also, although we paid for our vacation, we could not sit at the beach unless we spent money on food and drink.
