Great room, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We were welcomed with some iced tea which was very much appreciated after the heat of the day! We had a leaking airconditioning unit, but the staff immediately contacted a repair service. Sadly the repair service could not come that day so we were offered the room next door. Good location if you want to explore Jan Thiel, or even just chill at the pool. Car could be parked inside the property which is closed off with a gate, this feels safer than leaving it on the side of the road.

The description says there is a communal kitchen, but on arrival when we wanted to cook, we were told the kitchen could be used if you paid an additional fee. This is not mentioned on this site (except in reviews of other guests) Pool was great but did not feel clean, there was a film on the water, I would guess from everyone’s sunscreen. Maybe we just stayed here between two pool cleanings? Some pieces of furniture felt outdated, for instance the lamp on the night stand was rather old and rickety, and there were some spots on the lamp shade which I guess was maybe mold?

The property is in a lovely upscale area. It is in close proximity to a nice beach, several restaurants and a grocery store. You can manage well without a car to get to the main city, as the bus stop is practically out the door. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. My room was spacious and well equipped The cost was reasonable. I appreciated the quiet. The swimming pool Was in front of my room. I loved the Jacuzzi area of the pool but I wish the swimming pool had been larger.

I would have liked the swimming pool to be bigger.

the breakfast was perfect, delicious exceeds my expectations. The bed was soft and clean. The pool was clean and the service that we got from the owners make me feel at home. Mom and son make me feel like family. I love it

Nothing could be better because everything was ok. I had a little problem with the rental car because it was to low and when I wanted to park I had some issues. But that was because my car was to low.

Great location next to JanThiel. The house is amazing and the rooms are comfortable with nice views. Parking included in the house. The owners and staff are so polite, friendly and well dedicated, they make me feel comfortable every moment. Thanks Reinaldo and Lupe for your amazing kindness to myself. They do an amazing breakfast really a local one, some tasty and marvelous flavours. For sure to repeat in the future.

The breakfast was very good. The place was very clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and gave us rides to the market and to our next hotel to help us out.

The people next to us were very noisy until late in the night and did not observe the quiet time

the location is very charming and calm. we were there only for one night, after a long flight, so it was important to us to have a good night sleep

It was a very nice staying, it is a small Venezuelan family who are really make you feel comfortable, they let you feel like you are a part of the family. The mother of the family is so sweet, and she’s really looking and banding with the customers. And she let me feel I was home. She made especially for me pasta in the evening and a fresh desert when I told here I didn’t eat that night. The breakfast is as well very good, I choose the Venezuelan breakfast with arepas. Very good. I will come here defenitly more often, and I recommend this hotel to earl off my customers and other tourists. Thank you for let me feel like I was home. I will come back one day definitely.

A warm welcome form the family, after a few days you feel at home. This is no hotel it is a lovely mini heaven on a perfect location.
