We requested 2 rooms with views of the harbour if possible for just a overnight stay & I’m guessing we had the best 2 rooms in the hotel. Just fantastic. Continental breakfast was great. Room was very clean & exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend rooms 301 & 302 if you want the best views. Very friendly hosts. Thanks very much . Would definitely book again when we’re in Cyprus again.

Great location overlooking the harbour and castle from the balcony (ask in advance for a high level room facing the harbour with balcony). Breakfast was ok - basic but pleasant and substantial. Staff were very friendly and tried to help but not all of them understood English.

Everything was very dated and and in desperate need of renovation. This was probably a very grand hotel in the past but is now just average. The door handle to my room was hanging off but despite staying there 3 nights nobody ever came to fix it when I asked. The lift is ancient but works fine. Bed ok but not very comfy.

Northern Cyprus has few beaches but the helpful lady receptionist arranged an inexpensive taxi to get me there on two occasions. The hotel is close to the harbour in a good location for shopping and restaurants like The Five Brothers, Speak to the receptionist with wishes and ideas on what to do. This is the key to a good stay. Although I arrived quite early I was able to get to my room at once and was also given a free breakfast. A great welcome.

Well I had arranged a car direct with the hotel to collect me from the airport but the car was not there. I spent the night at the airport and then got a bus which proved to be far far cheaper.

very near the harbour and lovely choice of eateries and drinks a short walk from our hotel. The staff and owner very friendly and treated like they had known you years. Breakfast lovely choice of bread cheeses and fruit. I use a walking stick due to discs problems and the downside is parking. My husband dropped me near the hotel and he parked other side of the castle. Did not take away from a wonderful well organised hotel and we do plan to return. There is a lift but the staff are very helpful to assist you. Thank you for our stay. we will return. Graham and Jenni

not too bad unless you have mobility problems but staff and owner very attentive and helpful. Be aware you park your car away a short distance from the hotel. That is the only thing of the fabulous time we had.

Nice welcome and kind hosts. Excellent location in the centre. Very reasonable price. We stayed at this hotel for a night in a standard double room with a balcony. Beautiful sea view at the harbour. It was so nice and warm in the room in that wet and cold winter evening. There was lots of hot water and everything we needed to feel comfortable: from towels and shampoos to hairdryer to kettle to many different drinks and water in the mini fridge. And we had a very good and rich breakfast in the morning. Many thanks!

The breakfast should improve. Just info : My bank charged me comission changes on booking by charging my card 2 times even I have booked and payed on Euro on booking with EU card. That is the 1st time that has happened. I don' t know if that is a fault of booking.com or property. If that is a fault due to hotel, they should adjust their system.

Perfect location with balcony overlooking old harbour and a minute or two's walk from numerous places to eat. Breakfast substantial. Room fairly large. Manager amazingly friendly and helpful; gave good advice re. minibuses and has a cousin who is a skilled and reasonably priced taxi driver, who drove me to Hilarion Castle, Karpass Peninsula, etc.

Very difficult to get water in shower to run hot. Generally a bit old-fashioned and dowdy. Noisy at the weekend since a neighbouring hotel has dance nights on Saturday and Sunday. Still, I was perfectly happy to come back here in the evening after a day's sightseeing.

location was perfect right on the harbour although when we went the harbour was closed off. the staff were really lovely and very friendly

the breakfast wasn’t great just a bit basic and the same every morning with very little choice. my husband doesn’t eat cheese so he was very limited basically to an egg and bread. a bit more choice would make a huge difference to this hotel

very friendly and helpful stuff! the location is great, right in the heart of the harbour

it’s allowed to smoke in the room (we don’t smoke, but there were ashtrays in the rooms) so it smelled like cigarettes just as we entered the room. also, the harbour was closed, which isn’t the property’s fault, but it would be nice if we could have been notified about it in advance

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Nice room, comfortable bed, Cleaned daily, fresh towels, etc. Good continental breakfast. Good Wifi, Great AC too! Had an issue with the shower and it was sorted same day. Given room on Top Floor with great views over the Harbour and on to the Castle. It is down by the Harbour in the centre and expect some really enjoyable music here from the bars, but I never had an issue getting to sleep. I loved my time here so much that I stayed for 4 more days!
