I really enjoyed my stay here as a solo traveller. The gentleman on the front desk was ever so friendly and spoke perfect English, although he did try to charge me for my room again. However, I think the payment didn't show straight away on their system because I had only booked my room that morning. I loved the decor of the place, it was very grand/quirky and my room was massive ( stayed in the Rosemary room). The fridge came with 2 stocked water bottles and a fresh set of towels. I have chronic back pain and at first I was worried at how soft the bed was, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the bed very comfortable, and my back was absolutely fine. The best bit of this hotel was their traditional Turkish breakfast. There was a selection of food such as fresh bread, butter, jams, cucumber, tomato, olives, dips, jams, ham, cheese and a boiled egg. It was so yummy I can't stop thinking about it. It's located past the Nostalgia Hotel in a quietish location. It is very close to the shops and harbour, a perfect location, oh and it also has British plugs so no need for an adaptor.

There were no curtains in my room, so not much privacy. I had to go into the bathroom to get dressed and undressed. The shower was freezing cold, in the end I just gave up and didn't have a wash. You can hear upstairs walking about and talking. This isn't really a negative, but you will get woken up at 5am by a prayer call, however this doesn't go on for long. So if your a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs and an eye mask. None of this has put me off returning, I just woke the above to inform other travellers. I got straight back to sleep afterwards.

Very comfortable room. Hotel is stuffed with interesting antiques and in a good location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with local produce. We loved it that the hotel staff put food out for the mum and kittens who kept us entertained. For non-animal lovers this is away from the hotel so you will not be bothered by them if unwanted. Our room was next to the adjacent mosque but this added to its charm and we were woken only once early morning but were quickly able to go back to sleep. Great view from our room of the castle and sea.

nothing to not like.

Beautifully furnished hotel, individual rooms, location right by Kyrenia harbour and castle and in the old town near restaurants and shops. Owners and staff friendly and helpful including assistance with a medical emergency when I was there. Recommend the Asina restaurant just around the corner. They have a nice terrace out front where you can enjoy a beer. We even enjoyed being next to the mosque. If you come prepared with ear plugs then you won’t be unduly disturbed in the morning and it doesn’t last long. We loved the collection of cats and dogs that call the place home. They are all well cared for.

Great location, easy access everywhere and a very beautiful house. Hosts are friendly and helpful as well. The interier is very impressive and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The host didn't mention that, but the restaurant wasn't operational in off-season, so the breakfast was very basic as a result (bread & coffee). Some parts of the house definitely could benefit from a refurbishment (i.e. wall mounted lamps are barely hanging)

Great place, located just a minute away from the harbor. The host is very hospitable and resourceful. The rooms were spacious and well-heated. Lobby is the definition of the boutique hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, style, and exceptional service. It's not just a place to stay; it's a destination that enhances your travel experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, confident that it will be as delightful as the last.

There was some renovation happening on the street, more of an inconvenience.

Wonderful location in ancient 16 century manor/city building. Very frienly personal. Real "House of Character", all rooms were different, with a lot of antic objects, very cozy!

Breakfast was serving in the nearby restaurant, although there are very cozy breakfast area and kitchen in the hotel on the ground floor. Booking.com advertised availability of free parking - nothing of the kind, even access by car was very problematic due to the fact that the hotel is located in the heart of Old City of Kyrineia with very narrow streets a lot of which were simply closed due to construction works. Finally we managed to drop our car just in front of the hotel and later moved it to the parking space near the neighbouring mosque.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Special thank you to the chef who provided us with lovely homemade cake! The style and decoration of the hotel and rooms is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay there. Hotel in an ideal location to visit the town. Just be mindful that you are nex to the Mosque, so the early morning call to prayer will wake you up (we were fully aware of this before booking and it was not an issue) No parking provided but the main town car park is just a short walk away and at 7TL for the first hour and 1TL for every subsequent hour it was more than reasonable We had an excellent fish meze at the Lagoon Fish Restaurant. It is right on the seafront, away from the tourist harbour area and well worth a visit

Amazing one night stay at the Kyrenia Palace boutique hotel. We started our trip with some difficulties and the staff of the hotel helped us with everything, it couldn’t have been a better welcome to this beautiful city, besides the welcoming and professional staff, the hotel itself is also very clean and comfortable. I travel quite often and am usually not quickly impressed but this hotel really surprised me. Next time in North Cyprus we will be back again! Thanks guys!!

Nice rooms, friendly staff and centrally located hotel.

The location, in the heart of the old Venetian Harbor of Kyrenia, is amazing. Inexpensive and easily accessible parking is available within a six minute walk. The antiques, art and history give the Kyrenia Palace a one of a kind charm.

The breakfast was not as good as we anticipated. Fresh fruit was limited as were choices for pastries and hot items. The coffee was basic and on our first morning was also cold. The rooms and common areas are showing signs of deffered maintenance with moldy grout in the bathrooms, faded and stained cushions on the chairs and broken wood moldings and peeling paint and wallpaper. The rooms are elegant, not trashed; they just look like they need a refresh.

Spectacular accommodation - tallest ceilings ever - huge rooms in an amazing house. Very well located for the port. Fixtures and furnishings in keeping with a Venetian Palace. Outstanding....

Dopey reception when we arrived in the afternoon - think he had just woken up so was a bit irritated by our arrival I reckon. Disappointing for such a grand hotel. Wifi issues to be expected in such an old building as walls were so thick.
