Beautiful, renovated hotel, nice location, few minutes easy walking to the beach, delicious breakfast. Rooms are clean and equipped with everything. Reception is available all the time for any additional inquiries.

I liked a lot about this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and did not expect that so that was a bonus. Although the rooms are a little tired and dated, everything worked and was clean. They have a nice pool area and loungers with enough coverage for many people from the sun.

I would like to rate this hotel hire but the fact that people can smoke freely stops me. I am a non smoker and while the terrace for breakfast is in a nice spot overlooking the pool, I could never enjoy my breakfast as I was always surrounded by smokers. I found I ended up moving or rushing through breakfast to get out of the smoke. And yes I could have moved inside but then it just could have been any diner anyway.

Very comfortable medium firm beds. Nice balcony with sunshine from noon to sunset and a view over the city towards the ocean. Fairly quiet for a city hotel.

I must avoid gluten, so my go-to breakfast in hotels is typically eggs, bacon and vegetables. The fried eggs were perfect, but the bacon was served on top of flour tortillas - probably to soak up the fat? This means a very high risk of gluten contamination and no bacon for people like me. I think the kitchen of a good hotel should know better.

Good vibes, young, elders all kind of guests. The Hotel is nice, organized and with helpful stafff. The rooms are really nice and complete for a short stay. Breakfast good, nice amenities and good food at restaurant or room service. The room was one of the most better organized and clean i found in Cyprus (plugs, bed lights, clean, bathroom, all good)

For me the hotel was ideal for work, good desk, meeting rooms, location and a room with space and quiet to work properly. The only thing it didnt make it perfect for that was the Wifi (terrible) withiut any alternative such another network or a cable. Suggestion about tech is that: 1. Wifi , 2. Air Conditioner tecnolgoy. You cant turn off completely the AC if you open the balcony, all the hotels pause the AC when you open balcony door but then turn on automatically once you close. Going to the wall everytime you open the balcony is something you can easily fix.

Room was very nice, bathroom was excellent. The gym and indoor pool were very good and the swimming pool was good, but a bit on the smaller side. Breakfast buffet had a vast variety of choice. There was a very cute orange cat outside that was greeting us every night.

The facilities close very early. The gym closes at 8pm, and in the weekend it closes at 6pm which is crazy early. The indoor pool also closes at these times. The wifi keps disconnecting, even though that there were access points all over the place. They should check their Unifi setup. The parking lot is also awkwardly shaped and way too small. It makes it hard to park.

Large comfortable room with great shower. Pool and surrounding area looked lovely but we didn't have a chance to use it. Breakfast was good and varied. More of a venue for meetings, weddings etc. Parking was limited and, due to a wedding, there were no spaces available. We had bikes on our car so were a bit worried about leaving it on the street. However the Porter on duty that day (8th October) couldn't have been more helpful, offering to store our bikes and then finding and securing a parking space for us.

The location suited us to walk to the Wine Festival but it wouldn't be for everyone. Thought it was a bit pricey.

Stayed for three nights prior to cruise. The Ajax is exceptional value for money and is a genuine 4*** hotel. Facilities are superb and the outdoor area is perfect. Bar is well stocked and there is a decent snack menu which is also available poolside. Staff are very friendly and helpful; I was even able to return post cruise and store my bags and use the pool until leaving for the airport in the evening. It’s a reasonable 15 minute walk to the beach area where the #30 bus will take you into town along the promenade for €1.50. I fully recommend The Ajax and would certainly use it again.

We had such a good time staying at the Ajax hotel! Room was very clean and spacious, nice balcony overlooking the pool. Bed was very comfy too! The hotel staff was very polite and professional. We enjoyed the pool area, which was also very clean, plenty of sun beds. Both bars were lovely, good quality cocktails and very delicious lunch. Beach/ Main Street is good 15 minutes walk away, which is not too bad unless you are not used to walking in the heat.

The only downside for us, it could be more plug sockets in the room, we only had two.

Great service from all the staff - reception/lobby, breakfast room, housekeeping, spa/hairdressing, bar/room service. Liked the location. Days off - two 'city bicycle' hire stands (Nextbike by Tier) nearby gave me the wheels to explore old town and surroundings. On remote working days - Walking distance to a great little vegan food van, organic supermarket and Bobo pops (ice cream), walks were welcome breaks from the laptop. Room impeccably clean and very comfortable, north facing room on 4th floor had a pleasant city/mountains view. Mini fridge was great for keeping snacks (and sundowners!) cool. WiFi worked well, I remote worked with it, without any problems, for over two weeks. The desk and chair were comfortable and there were enough well located plugs - and the blurred Zoom background looked professional (although it was the bed/headboard!). Breakfast was excellent, usual hot/cold stuff plus lots of fruit and 'Cypriot table' with interesting things to try out (sweet pickled walnuts, tahini cake, olives - yum). Miss the yoghurt already - with walnuts or almonds, goji berries, chia seeds etc. Breakfast room had always a friendly welcome - thank you Nadka! Free car parking on site was available, discovered a minor overnight scratch on my vehicle on the last morning but luckily had taken a zero excess insurance policy for falling rocks at Troodos mountains. Spa and hairdressing treatments were reasonably priced and available at short(ish) notice, at least now, during the 'off-season'. Had a haircut and four massage treatments, great way to relax after the remote work days when my time off was more limited. Olga managed to relieve some of the pain on my C19-vaccination arm, which had been sore, thank you! So all in all: a really pleasant stay - thank you Ajax!

The room was dissent size and the bed was comfortable. The air-condition was easy to use and would get the room in temperature relatively quickly (temperature is important in Cyprus with degrees sometimes over 40 C). The shower and toilet where clean and elegant with good soaps and shampoos provided! Wi-Fi was also good! I recommend to use the jacuzzi, sauna, steam-bath, etc. facilities for an extra 15 EUR. I spend an hour there and it definitely worth it. It was relaxing; a proper way to end the vacation/stay :)
