I likes it allot. It's affordable and this time i got room with AC which was great. It was also not a problem to have breakfast half hour before scheduled time, so they are quite flexible. I can recommend it.

Everything was nice, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is in a residential area and the area was very quiet at night. It was fine walking around the area at night. There are lots of tram and bus routes from the train station that pass close to the hotel. My room was big and clean, with a fridge, lots of storage space, a TV and air con. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The receptionist who checked me in spoke excellent English and was efficient and helpful. The en suite bathroom was big and clean, and the shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was good, with lots of variety. There are shops and restaurants about a 5- to 10-minute walk from the hotel. Good value for money and recommended.

Good location, close to the centre. There is a beautiful park round the corner to have walk with our dog. Nice and helpful staff. Many thanks to Ms. Hlavackova! Very spacy studio, well equipped for a comfortable stay. Quite, with air condition, what was very helpful in this extremely hot days. We were lucky to get a parking place inside the hotel yard, it was quite narrow for our big car, but safe and comfortable. Happy that we have chosen Ostrava to stay overnight:)

From the moment we walked in the staff was super polite and professional. It had good elevators, great heating system throughout the hotel. There was a free breakfast, and also a daily luncheon menu that was very good and economical. in the rooms I particularly appreciated that there was a trashcan for the bedroom as well as the small one for the bathroom. there was a computer desk that pulled out if anyone wanted to work, and the lighting was good for that. The towels were clean and ample, and there was even a bathmat, and a drying rack in the bathroom, and even a place to sit in the shower. the reception has a comfortable area for guests to sit to wait for each other.

There is an automatic light outside in the parking lot which, I suppose, turns on when someone walks by, this was disturbing my sleep a bit. Also the curtains could be thicker so they would prevent light from the parking lot.

The location is great, right in the city center, and the hotel is a really nice and comfortable place. The room was not so big, but it had everything I needed, there was a flat TV, a desk, a lot of storage space for my things. The view from the window was nice and the room was quiet, warm and clean. The WiFi worked well. The breakfast was also okay, good coffee. The personnel was very kind and helpful. It was the second time I stayed in this hotel, but definitely not the last one.

This is the perfect place to stay, especially if you want to break up the trip from Krakow to Prague. Hotel Maria has lovely charm and character and nice decor. Our room was spacious, had a large bathroom, was very clean and the bed comfortable. The employees at reception were very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

The pigeons roosting near our room were a little noisy but were quiet at night so did not disturb our sleep.

Central location but still the street was really peaceful. Comfortable room with enough space. Also good selection of goods are for sale on hotel lobby.

The checkin time could be possible to do later while there is a 24 hour reception.

It was a pleasant surprise to be honest. Clean, front desk spoke good English. My colleagues said their beds were very hard, mine was a foam mattress, so ok really. Slept well, breakfast was typical central european. Great fresh scrambled eggs!

Parking is a fun challenge, as the entrance from the front is very narrow. Our Kia Ceed hire car fit with max 5cm to spare either side of the wing mirrors.

The hotel offers really good value for money. The room was very calm (facing the backyard) and furnished in a simple but sufficient way. The bathroom exceeded my expectations due to its size and the comfortable shower. All the staff I came across were very nice and helpful and the hotel was very clean. It is located in the centre of Ostrava, the main train station is about 30 mins on foot and a tram stop is a few minutes away for those who would rather take public transport.

The only drawback was the fact that the curtains in front of the windows were not sufficient to keep the lights in the backyard out of the room. It would be preferable to have proper blackout curtains.
