Staff were wonderful. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and wonderful. Rooms were large. Location was a half block off the big square. Mani/pedi across the street was very good.

The hotel is very cozy and nice. It is located near the market squere in Pilzno. It is run by a family and you can feel this personal touch not only in the look, but also in the service. The room was quite large, very clean. Bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was sufficient and very good. There is a really nice restaurant on spot, we did not manage to try the food, but it looks really nice! We truly recommend.

Two things, that do not influence our most positive experiance of the hotel, but we want to point out: 1. one bottle of water in the room would be very nice 2. a little bit more light in the double room, that we had, would also help :) (eg. stronger bulbs)

Great place to stay with excellent breakfast, close proximity to everything in Pilsen and a pleasant and welcoming staff. The problem only comes in if you have a street facing room. The Tram runs up and down the front street. Its hours are from 5AM to 11:45PM but may be running earlier and later to get into position. If you are a light sleeper it may disrupt you. Hotel Rango does provide earplugs for what it is worth. Would stay again but I would insist on a room on the backside.

The instructions to reach the hotel and parking area (because the usual access had been closed) were clear and a member of staff met us as promised. Our room was nicely furnished and had a welcome fan as the weather was very warm. The hotel is located just off the central square and places of interest are within easy walking distance. There is an excellent Italian restaurant which is part of the hotel. We were really impressed by the choice of dishes, the quality of service and the deliciousness of the food and wine. The breakfast selection is good with the option of freshly cooked scrambled or fried eggs. The chairs in the restaurant are really comfortable and deserve a mention. The duty manager was particularly helpful but all the staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly.

There is a tramline out front but ear plugs are provided. They did not seem to run during the night but some guests might prefer to ask for a room on the back.

I spent two nights at Hotel Rango. The location is perfect right off the main square. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and the wifi was great. They also have a superb Italian restaurant downstairs. I usually do not like hotel restaurants, but this one is worth a visit even if you don't stay at the hotel. Everything in the hotel is done with a touch of refinement. Excellent.

My room view gave on to a wall which could bother some people. It did not affect me as there was still plenty of light, and it was private and quiet.

Petr was excellent and helped with luggage and direction to parking. Decor was wonderful. The hotel is new, modern and well maintained. Our room was directly above the street but quite despite warnings on reviews about street noise. It may be because the main summer tourism is almost over. Bed was big and comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Good desk for working space. Comfy couch in the room. Location is right at the tram stop in the old town. Parking is very convenient and reasonably priced.

The shower scalded if someone in a nearby room flushed their toilet. The window blinds were not blackout so the room was not very dark. Breakfast didn't really cater for many tastes and items ran out regularly. Breakfast finishes at 9 am so a sleep in is impossible. The restaurant is a bit expensive for the quality of food. There is no lift and the dark stairs and floor are a bit of a trip hazard. No English channels on the TV.

Hotel Rango is perfectly situated in the heart of Plzeň, within easy walking distance of all the major attractions and restaurants. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with fresh linens and towels provided daily. The décor was simple and modern, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Rango were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They were always happy to answer our questions and provide recommendations for things to see and do in the city. The hotel offers convenient parking for guests, located just a short walk from the back door.

The room we were assigned (number 8) had a slanted ceiling and the bed was positioned under the window. This made it difficult to feel comfortable in the room and sleep well. The double room only came with two small and flat pillows, which was not enough for a comfortable sleep. When we asked for more pillows, we were given two extra pillows. The breakfast buffet was good and tasty, but it was the same every morning. It would have been nice to have some variety in the menu (not only eggs).

I had a one night stay in Plzen (Pilsen) on my way to Poland. Location was perfect for one night because the Hotel is in the old city center. Nevertheless it was really quiet in the room (No. 2) -> my room was facing the courtyard with a view of the large kitchen ventilation system. For me it was not a problem, because I walked all evening through the city anyway. Besides, I asked for a quiet room and not a room with a view (a view does not help with a good night's sleep ;) ) For those who watch TV: Netflix is available. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. One employee even accompanied me to the car and navigated me as a passenger to the hotel parking lot, which is hidden in the back. The breakfast was very tasty: class instead of mass. there were cold and a few individual hot dishes (from their own restaurant). The quality of the meats and cheese selection was also very good. I would definitely come back again.

The possibility to have some brighter light in the room near the bed (for reading). Maybe a small chair in front of the table (I moved the bench to the table instead).

From the moment we arrived, everyone associated with the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Parking is a challenge and Hotel Rango made sure we had parking and even drove us to the spot! The room was spacious, well-appointed and more than comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the service was efficient and friendly. The location of Hotel Rango is superb; well within walking distance of anything one would like to see or do as a tourist in Pilsen. When we left we were given homemade cookies for our journey - a lovely touch.

Great place to stay. Tram stop right in front of door. If you’re arriving by train grab the tram at the station and the hotel is just a couple stops away. Located half a block from the town square is super convenient. The staff was very accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again on any future visits.

The hotel is on the second floor of the restaurant and you have to walk through the restaurant to get upstairs. Seemed a bit weird at first.
