The hotel was very nice and the room (superior double room, 39 m2) excellent, a lot of space and two big opening windows to the Keplerova street. Bathroom was very nice with both bathtub and shower and room was well equipped (big closet's, water boiler, big separate sink, microwawe, minibar/fridge etc...) Breakfast was excellent and breakfast room nice with opening roof. Library room/lobby bar area was nice. All staff and service was top quality. But most of all, location was excellent, hotel and nearby area very quiet and tram stops directly in the front of the hotel. Excellent for a romantic holiday! All in all, very close to 5 stars experience with good "bang for the buck".

I got a notification from the hotel two days before departure that hotel AC is not functioning. But even this did not spoil our stay, luckily the evenings/nights were cool. We had two big opening windows and thanks to the spacious room, we could keep the other one open with curtains on top. And the way the hotel reimbursed this left no room to complain. One more thing, the tv could have been bigger but we hardly opened it!

Location, location, location.Perfect location! Close to Castle but quiet in the evening and mornings. Tramstop to center in front of hotel. Perfect for walking down to center and going back up with tram. Breakfast is very nice. Room and bathroom very spacious, toilet seperate from bathroom. Bathroom with bath and shower. Staff very helpfull. Microwave, waterheater, sink, fridge, Nespressomachine, cutelery and plates also in room.

It is at the top of a very steep hill. But cheap public transport and you don't have to wait for more than 5 min. Walking distance to Castle. Little kitchenette was useful, and coffee exceptionally goooooood! We booked it at a discounted rate via Booking.com, so I'm very happy with our little bargain! Cleanliness: 100%! Excellent! Every single person we met spoken English and were very polite. Thank you, Hotel Savoy, for having us :)

No shower curtain. Bath only. Maybe we could have asked, but we didn't. Just had to wipe the floor after each shower. Mattresses EXTREMELY firm! It was like sleeping on a noisy floor! Plastic protectors on the mattresses we're very sweaty and noisy. I've never seen them in other hotels across Europe. Only 1 free coffee pot each per stay , you have to pay €1 per pot next day. There is no price list for the mini bar.

We had a wonderful stay at the Savoy hotel. The room upgrade was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was simple yet satisfying, offering everything we needed to start our day on the right foot. Hotel's location is great, it was conveniently close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, yet also neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Additionally, having public transportation right at our doorstep was a major plus. Thank you to the hotel for providing us with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The only really small minus was that the TV in the room didn't catch the internet very well.

We had an amazing three night stay at this gem of a hotel in the heart of the mala strana in Prague. Is takes around 15 minutes to the center of old town Prague by tram. The historic beauty of the building and the interior are indescribable. It’s super fun to explore this place! We were upgraded for free and resided in a huge and luxurious suite. Everything was super clean, room service was very thorough and all utensils are of the best quality. The breakfast is very diverse and healthy. It is served in a beautiful big room with an open roof (amazing feeling to eat under the sky). The staff was super friendly and supportive. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Savoy Prague!

Everything was excellent!

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The location is close to the castle but around 20-30 min by tram to the city. I liked the location though, because it was quiet and not crowded.

Massage options start from one hour. I would appreciate options for 20-30 minutes. Also, there was confusion about the Nespresso coffee capsules. Apparently, only the first two coffee capsules are provided for free in the room. For additional capsules, you need to pay €1/each. So if you stay for more than one night, bring your own Nespresso capsules :)

the hotel lobby was gorgeous. the staff was nice and helpful. rooms are spacious and the listed amenities were available. I found the bathroom quite spacious. and to my surprise, the toilet was separate. I liked that! I booked this hotel knowing that it is a bit out of the typical touristy center and in the end I had to use the tram to get to the city - I think once I walked back even. That was fine with me as I was aware. and the tram stop is just in front of the hotel so that was quite handy.

on thing I didn't like is the balcony door/window that was opening to a large terrace/balcony which was shared by other rooms. in the end, this door/window could be closed and maybe even locked (cant remember). but it made me a tiny little bit uncomfortable to realize that I am sharing a balcony/terrace with several other rooms and as a solo traveller I didnt like that and had to close this window - which was the only window - during a hot night. oh and the A/C didnt work very well and it was a hot day. I think it made the room even hotter by just trying to work. I didnt tell the lobby though. i didnt think it is something they could solve immediately.

Hotel Savoy is an elegant and cosy establishment with an old-world touch. It is located in a beautiful, historical district, right next to the monastery and other splendid sights. Having spent almost a week in Prague, our well-furnished and newly renovated rooms represented home away from home. Our stay was particularly agreeable due to the professionalism and overly attentive attitude of the hotel staff, our well-heated rooms, and the sumptuous breakfasts in the morning. Added to these, the hotel's lounge, dotted with chess tables and housing an imposing multi-language library, enabled us to travel back into Czechia's magical past vividly recounted by Hrabal. We can't wait to return to the luxurious yet extremely affordable Hotel Savoy! Even though the hotel is a bit out of the hustle and bustle of Prague's center (and this is something we were looking forward to having), it is accessible by tram (the stop is right across the hotel). If arriving by car, one can easily find paid parking near the hotel (free from the evening hours until the morning) or keep the car in a (slightly pricey) garage belonging to the establishment. Restaurant of all price ranges (including local breweries serving hearty Czech dishes) are in a walking distance.

We were unhappy with the fact that our stay was too short :)

This place is just GREAT. My room was spacious, with big comfy bed, little kitchenette, big bathroom, it was also VERY quiet- despite the fact that my room was located above street with trams. I couldn’t hear them at all. Breakfast was very good quality. Some may complain about little choice, but the food quality was a definite proof that it’s better to have less but with a great quality. Super tasty cakes- I do recommend this small dessert just after breakfast:) Location- just next to Hradchany and Strachov Monastery (try their beers!). Beware! Hotel is located on the top of the hill so if you can’t walk - you can take a tram. It’s just next to the hotel. Staff was super nice.

Everything was perfect.

The hotel is really beautiful and authentic. The room was spacious and clean , the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was really good with a big variety and the location very convenient as well as it was both easy to walk around or use the tram with the station on the doorstep.Moreover, we had the option to leave our bags in the reception because we had a late flight back home.

No window or ventilation at the toilet. We would prefer a double bed instead of two singles put together.
