Very good location, at few steps from central square, same time having privacy and silence. Nice and clean rooms, very spacious and nicely decorated. The furniture, even old style, was in very good condition. The overall atmosphere it is very pleasant and enjoyable.

Not a deal breaker, but the room we had was little dark, having just one not so big window, characteristic to old buildings. A second aspect to be considered is that being in the old city center, the access by car is impossible, so a short 5 min walk with luggage's is unavoidable.

Fantastic location in city centre

Having to pay €50 deposit for ever night you stayed. Seemed like a bit of a scam. Stay three nights so had to pay a deposit of €150. Which can take over a week to be refunded

We loved the character and sumptuousness of the hotel and its rooms - everything is ornate, carved and beautifully decorated, even down to the little ornate heads on top of the corner protectors on the doorways. The breakfast was a good spread of choices, although we did feel it could have done with some vegan options, perhaps some vegan meats? We also found the location very convenient, being so close to the centre of the town, but tucked away enough that the noise from revellers at the weekend didn't disturb us.

Not much could have been improved - the waiting staff seemed a little flustered, and quite busy, and as mentioned above, we would have liked some more vegan options, but there was a vegan cafe opposite, and it does seem that not all venues in Prague cater for vegan diets.

This hotel was better than we expected. I have read all the reviews and was scared. Yes the A/C barely worked. True. We had two rooms booked and one was too cold and the other one warm. We couldnt change the temperature. It needs to be fixed. But it wasnt huge problem. DEER restaurant employees suck big time. Prague offers so many good restaurants, skip the Deer restaurant just because of the customer service. However, otherwise the hotel is so beautiful and has the best location.Also, the breakfast was great too. When we come back to Prague we will stay here. Look for Patrik who is always close to front desk and basically reads your mind about what you want or need. He fixes things you didnt think needed to be fixed. In all these years of traveling we have done, this is the best employee we have run into. Because of Patrik, location, and the look I will give this hotel all the stars. Thank you! We will come back :)

A/C in rooms didnt work and employees of the Deer restaurant really sucked.

Room was fantastic. We had one of the Goliath Suites as a treat and it was very spacious. With steps up to an upper bedroom area. The suite was in the roof space so we were amongst the old beams and struts of the building. Super experience. Three toilets altogether. Two bathrooms, one with a bath/shower. Jacuzzi upstairs even! Nothing at all to complain about - no noise - great nights sleep! The setting for breakfast and other meals is lovely - outdoor courtyard space with a gorgeous tree and string lights. Location could simply not be better !

I have been to a great many hotels ,but Irongate hotel in Prague was the best ever,we had a Suit 102, absolutely brilliant,that you.

It’s a very old building, and very quirky, not your typical hotel. Lots of gorgeous objets d’art all over the place. Breakfast was set up in what appeared to be the old stables, cobblestones everywhere.

The first room we were allocated was on two levels, with the ensuite facility at the bottom of very steep stairs which went up to the area the bed was in. Totally unsuitable for elderly travellers ( which we are). The staff member was quite disgruntled when we asked for another room, and told us the new room was for only one night , and we would have to move again the next day. Needless to say, the staff the next morning confirmed we could remain in the new room, so all good.

Spacious rooms. Double glazing on the windows, so even the party goers in the street did not bother us. Bathrooms are well appointed. Heating worked well. Literally 90secs to the astronomical clock.

Breakfast could have gone longer. 7-10 was just too short for us(we would have preferred earlier or later but that is a personal preference). OJ at the buffet was powder or extremely bad quality. Elevator was up a lift of stairs which sucked as we had heavy luggage(the porter did help though)

Really nice hotel, perfectly located. Staff are friendly and helpful. Maid service is excellent with towel changes everyday. Fantastic bathroom, looks newly refurbished. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

The bar area is small and not very comfortable. We booked a superior double room and the images online show quite a large room with a seating area. Our room was much smaller than the images and no real seating area, just a desk with chair that was too big to fit in the knee hole so was left sticking out and limiting the space at the bottom of the bed. There was one other chair and a low table, again too large for the room. This didn't spoil our holiday but accuracy of description is important.

The location of the Hotel is right in the heart of the Old Town, near the Astronomical Clock and the Church of the Lady of Tyn. Perfect quiet street with access to all local amenities. The Junior Suits were beyond impressive and very comfortable.

The breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment with a wait for more food to be made, some of the staff could have been a little bit kinder especially at 09:30 saying that there was no food left and I would have to pay for brunch instead.
