Karlova 25 Apartments

The apartment itself was excellent - well appointed, spotless, spacious, great location, nicely heated for the winter, all necessary tea, coffee etc. quick and easy to contect internet - couldn't be faulted really. A great place to stay.

I have a conundrum here because the apartment itself is great and the website advice does say "floors accessible by stairs only". Correct. What it doesn't say is for apartments 2, 3 and 4 there are 96 steps with 3 coded doors and when you are >65yo and with a 25kg case it is hard work. And every time you go out it is 96 steps down and 96 back up again. Apartments 5 & 6 have even more stairs. The sensor light on the 3rd flight heading up doesn't turn on until nearly at the next landing so you climb in the dark for a while. The TV itself is very good but unfortunately there are no English news programs, specifically BBC World, Sky News, CNN etc. The kitchen clock always showed 5.10! The door to the bathroom is very stiff.

Amazing location in the heart of the old town. Huge apartment. Didn’t use kitchen facilities other than the glasses and fridge so cannot comment on this. Beautiful light and airy lots of big windows which is unusual with many city apartments.

No complaints but for feedback definitely needs another mirror as only one which is in the bathroom and you really need additional - say in the bedroom so one can get their hair and makeup on whilst other is using bathroom facilities. Shower tray drain plug was yellow so dubious how much it had really been cleaned. Counted 115 steps up to apartments 5 & 6 no problem for us but obviously won’t suit some.

Location was really super, bang in the middle of the old city, facilities I'm apartment where great alot of little extras the hosts are very considerate. The shower was big hot and powerful making for a lovely shower. Good communication from hosts. We where Very happy with our choice of accommodation I'd definitely recommend it.

A lot of stairs up to apartment (concider this if your less mobile if your of only average fitness you will be fine you dont need to be super fit or anything like that), bed and sofa where hard and not very comfortable but not deal breakers still a great place to stay.

The property was very spacious and had everything you might need. It was in a perfect location for seeing everything you’d want to see in the Old Town. You could hear the astronomical clock chiming on a quiet early morning which is beautiful. It was good value for money. There were lots of locations for breakfast, lunch and dinner within a very short walk.

It was a little noisy but that’s not unexpected in its location. Unfortunately I hadn’t realised that there was a bar that played loud music in the courtyard of the building. The beds were a bit hard and the duvets a bit thin. Thankfully there was a spare duvet so I was able to double up.

The apartment is located in the center of the old town. We could reach most of the landmark places by foot. It is clean and spacious, with almost all necessary facilities, utensils, and generous supply of coffee, tea, toiletries etc. which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Our apartment is on the top floor, this is also an apartment with great view.

1. Steps. We miss the elevator. 2. Dish washer is small-sized and can’t do large plates.

The apartment is so big and gets a lot of sunlight. There is a stunning view. Kitchen is well equipped, there's everything you might need. Bathroom is spotless clean. Spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed and sofa.

The apartment is on the top floor with no lift. The 114 steps to climb to the floor are quite challenging, but the panoramic view is worth it!

This was a very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped flat in the very heart of the beautiful old town. We were all delighted with it, in fact my son remarked that we were living like kings and queens. I have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous accommodation.

Due to the location, there was a lot of coming and going by nocturnal revellers. They made quite a noise, but this didn't worry me and are probably inevitable in this part of town.

This apartment is huge! The view is incredible - looking towards the astronomical tower. Despite the proximity to the hustle and bustle of the town centre, the apartment was calm and peaceful. Great addition of the washing machine and excellent kitchen facilities. We felt very safe with multiple locked doors to reach the apartment. We would recommend staying at Karlova 25 apartments and would gladly stay again!

The bed is very hard - although some may like this!

The apartment is centrally located. It was clean. The owner was quick to reply to queries. He even made arrangement for airport transfer. Nespresso capsules, laundry pods, and dishwashing detergent were provided. Although breakfast is not provided, one can prepare own meals because of the kitchen. Restaurants are only a few steps away.

It was on the third floor (4 stories up) with no elevator. Also no air conditioning but there is an electric fan.
