The room was very chic, very spacious and also comfy. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and there was a daily housekeeping service. We had a very pleasant stay. The location was excellent - directly at the center of the old town, all old town landmarks were of walking distance. There was a tea cabinet in the room with several types of tea and instant coffee.

Parking is difficult and costly in the old town. However, you could leave the car at a P+R or another distant parking lot and use the subway to reach this hotel and the old town (subway is convenient and cheap). The location is very noisy 24/7, unfortunately we could hear people talking also with closed windows during the night. Check-in was not as trouble-free as promised - we had not received the code for the room upon arrival, even though we had completed all the steps for the verification, thus we needed to call the reception to ask. But the problem was solved immediately when we called and they sent us the code.

The air conditioning was great and we were surprised how quiet the streets were even when it was very busy, especially later in the day. There was lots of room and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked. The view was lovely and the room was clean. We really enjoyed our stay. You are just a couple minutes walk from the Old Town Square. A detailed street map would have been very helpful.

The steps at the first floor going from the elevator to our room were not very easy to negotiate. Older people or those with mobility issues would find it difficult. They would be okay on the second or third floor rooms as there is an elevator which makes hauling luggage around so much easier. Also it was nice to have a mini fridge but it was quite small and didn't work that well.

Almost everything! I loved how clean the property was; the fact that it’s right in the middle of the most happening part of the old town; the fact that it’s an old historic building renovated to accommodate the modern traveller; beautiful baroque-ish furniture; all the necessary amenities; no nonsense check in if you register earlier or the 5 minute walk to their reception which they are very clear about. I loved staying in this property. Totally recommend!

The no reception bit. To be fair, they are very transparent that their reception is 5 minutes away from this building (not that far at all and we didn’t mind that walk too), it’s just the entering the building to a dark lobby/entrance was a bit disconcerting sometimes. Mind you, it’s a beautiful old building that’s been renovated to accommodate the modern guest, but the absolute lack of any living breathing entity especially when we’d come back late in the night was a bit off.

Everything about this room is perfect for a couple immersing themselves in the heart of Prague. We arrived by train and, traveling light, were able to get to the room and complete the contactless check-in with ease, despite the snow and cold weather. Room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable, clean and warm!! There is plenty of city charm within minutes of this place, to include food and drink options. I first stayed here in this exact same room 10 years ago and said then I'd return - and I did, without regret!

The municipal workers were persistent in commencing street cleaning duties at 6 am every morning of our stay. So, we got used to getting up then because it was impossible to sleep through their noise! Would be nice if they started a bit later.

Location was amazing....by the Charles Bridge and old town. The room was a big size and the bathroom clean and updated.

The location was a bit loud because of the location being part of the hub for tourists. We were also in a room with a fold out bed. The mattress and mattress cover were stained, which resulted in us not using the bed and sleeping on the couch. instead. The fold out bed did not have bedsheets and blankets either.

We had a large room that was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The room and bathroom were cleaned all 4 days we were there. Aurus is a very historic building in Old Town within walking distance of many of the main sights to see in Prague. There are restaurants and bars too numerous to count close by. Even though it is situated on probably the busiest street in the Old Town the room was surprisingly quiet. There were waves of people on Karlova Street but it was easy to walk a short distance and get away from the crowds. Central Reception is just a short distance from Aurus and they were very helpful with any issues we had, which were few.

Just be ready for how busy the streets are. I thought we might be in the "off season" but maybe Prague does not have an off season. Karlova Street is probably always busy but it was easy to get away from the crowds when we wanted.

Excellent location Older buildings in this area are reliant on a heating/cooling system that corresponds to the current season. In summer, air conditioning is operating, in colder times, you get heat. It is not easily changed, was set for "winter" and we did not need as much "heat". They promptly provided a fan. This same thing happened in Budapest in a hotel that costs $450 US each nite. Airport taxi request was handled beautifully

DId not like the contact-less check-in Confusing and confirmation information was not as complete as I needed for my comfort level

The location is amazing, truly in the centre of Prague old town. Also, the room was clean, and the bed was comfy.

For starters, they changed the place of the reception, so you need to walk to another hotel to take the keys. Too bad that they only put a notice on the door in Czech to let people know. We had to call the reception a couple of times to get hold of someone. Also, the rooms in the pictures are not precisely what you tend to get. No chandeliers, no extra sofas. Their breakfast is also 10 EUR per person for something that looked absolutely mediocre. Finally, in the room you’ll only find some instant coffee, and some tea sachets. I mean, a bottle of water and some biscuits certainly won’t break their bank account. But since this is a destination known for its tourist traps, this hotel is a good deal. Just don’t have sky high expectations.

Our room was in a prime location beside the shops with a great view. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful spacious room. Cleanliness was excellent. Luxury hand and body wash included in the bathroom.

There was no lock on the bathroom door. Main reception was in a separate location from the rooms. It wasn't a far walk though. The staff were very nice and the food was great.

Loved the location in that it was very central in Old Town. So many restaurants and shops within close proximity. The room was very spacious and clean. Loved how the windows were big and you could look out onto the square and cobbled streets. No issues of safety in terms of the neighborhood. Appreciated that there were several outlets to utilize, had a small refrigerator and kettle for tea or instant coffee.

As much as we loved the location in the day time, night can be quite different. If you like to sleep with the windows open, then be prepared for late night/early early morning noise from people walking by. Clubs stay open quite late (into early morning) and seems we had several groups walking by singing. I would not let this deter you from staying here. At times when we closed windows, they did great at muffling the noise. I'm sure upper floors have no issue. The shower was too small (depends on the room you get). We are not big people and it was quite a chore to shower. The A/C could be better, so this really depends on time of year and the comfort temp you are used to.
