Residence La Fenice

Great location, big room, very good breakfast, although almost overwhelmingly packed. We got switched from a sister hotel, so no idea what the regular rates would have been.

Parking! We asked for our car (only valet parking available) to be ready for us at 9:30am, and they said absolutely. We ended up getting our car 35 minutes later, after the four of us standing around wasted a combined 2+ hours….

staf was friendly and helpful. front desk 24/7 very informative. we had the duplex on 6th floor, big enough for a family of 5. one bedroom with bath/toilet adjusent on the upper floor, and another big room at the entrance with seating area for 4 people, big sofa opened to double bed and two compact single sofa's. the kitchen is big (missing Cookware), with oven, stove top, kattle, big refrigerator. another big bath and a view to the park down the street. the dining room is great, fresh and tasety. the hotel is 3 min walk from metro station, no problem to move around. most important, this duplex costs about 30% less then regular room in other hotels located in the center :-)

Spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent location close to public transport and quite close to city center, park opposite to hotel, good breakfast, wonderful smell in the room, everything clean

This is more a well-intention criticism to hotel which still has 4 stars: there was no refrigerator in the room even though should have been; it was delivered after 2 days when I was already leaving. The wardrobe is veeeery creaky while the faucet on the sink was not working properly. The most important - very poor sound isolation so you won't get sleep due to noisy maids and guests.

The front desk and breakfast staff were all friendly. The room was pretty basic, but adequate, small fridge in the closet. The breakfast was really good, offering a variety of cereals, breads, fruits, veggies, cold meats and cheeses, as well several cooked dishes which varied each day (boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, veggies, beans, ect.). Close to a subway stop, a tram stop, and various shops and restaurants.

The fridge in the room was super small (still better than nothing). You can park anywhere on the street in front or beside the hotel, but it's paid parking. You can pay at a streetside kiosk or online (parkingcard). *note, you only have to pay mon-fri 0800-2000, the person at the front desk didn't tell me that so i ended up paying during a weekend which turned out to be an expensive waste

The Service at La Fenice is very competent,Friendly and helpful. We had a very nice Easter Breakfast, it was a lot, something for everyone. The Chocolate Eggs were a hit among children. I was very pleased with the porridge. The location is perfect, not too crowded, green and peaceful with Riegrovy Savy not many footsteps behind it. In the area, you can find nice little coffee shops and Bistros. Being a vegan or vegetarian isn’t a problem. Many of the main attractions are within a walking distance, but the good public transport connections make it easy to discover other areas of Prague as well.

The air was a bit musty. Leaving the windows open helped. I think this is quite a common humidity problem after Covid with the spaces that have to be brought back to Life again .

The location was perfect for me, it has few parks nearby. Commuting was easy as well. Both to the train station and the airport. Clean and spacious bathroom was a plus. All staff at the restaurant during breakfast were friendly and very helpful, same I could say about receptionists. One of them spoke fluent Ukrainian which was a pleasant surprise for us. They made us feel welcomed and valued guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Availability of power sockets next to the bed. There was only one on each side used for the bedside lamps. It is just a small remark to improve for future convenience.

The hotel is at a great location with metro and tram stops in close proximity. Our room was super clean and spacious and we got a lovely view from our windows. The bathroom was very well equipped and cleaned daily. Despite some reviews regarding the noise from the outside, even with the room facing the street we found it acceptable. All the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, we would definitely come back here again 😊.

Sound insulation between rooms could be a bit better, an extra electric socket near the bed would be ideal.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Fresh sheets and towels every day. Very good breakfast. Price/performance wise could be the best hotel in Prague

Would be nice if you could adjust the room temperature. It was set to 24°C and trying to turn on air conditioning didn't work. During the night, we kept our window open so it's not too hot. But when the tram starts running it's so noisy we had to wake up and close the windows. It's probably not a problem for most, but I love sleeping in a cold room

Thank you for lovely breakfasts. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Bed is very comfortable. Matrasses and pillows are new. Very clean towels. In the bathroom you can get shower caps, shower gel and soap. We have been in the start of April and room was very warm. Hotel with the good heating. Hotel in the centre of Prague, just 20 min. walk, 2 or 3 tram stops if you will use public transport. 50 metres is train station. Location is perfect for tourists. Enjoyed our holidays.

The staff was wonderful and very, very accommodating. We arrived very late for a check-in and Ksenia went above and beyond to please us and to make us feel comfortable. During our stay Pavel, a friendly guy at the reception desk, was inquiring about our stay on daily bases and did everything possible to please us. What a service !!!

Water pressure during the showers. It suddenly turned to be very hot and we had to be very careful.
