Arkada Hotel Praha

Quite location, clean room and bathroom, good breakfast, in walking distance from sight seeing places and public transportation, a lot of restaurants nearby.

There is no kettle in the room would have used it as the trip was in winter. WiFi was without encryption and password; considering cyber crime rate nowadays its a must rather than an option.

Hotel Arkada is situated on a quiet side street in the Vinohrady district. It's a great location away from the tourist hubbub of central Prague, but it is still only a five-minute walk from the top of Wenceslas Square. There are also plenty of transport connections nearby, not to mention lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants. I only met the receptionist during my stay, but she was very helpful and got me checked in with a minimum of fuss. The room itself was decorated in a classic style without feeling old-fashioned. All the facilities were immaculately clean and the bed was very comfy - I rarely sleep well while staying in a hotel, but this was a pleasant exception!

The only tiny criticism I have is that breakfast could have been included in the price. I saw a few others in the same price range that did, but that was probably a trade-off for such a decent location.

Great location (loads of good restaurants and cafés around); helpful staff; clean room; wardrobe has enough hangers which are necessary to me :) It's possible to leave luggage for free after check-out (we had a late flight, so we decided to explore the city. It's much more convenient to do this w\o luggage).

A 4-star hotel cannot provide even a kettle in a room?! But you can ask for everything you want (kettle, extra cups, glasses) at the reception desk.

Good location. Comfortable bed. Light breakfast.

Parking facility is about 300 meters away and is very difficult to talk with the guy from the parking facility beacause he speaks only Czech.

Arkada was a very nice, friendly and clean hotel. I had a single room which was enough for me. not super cheap but i guess you pay for what you get, and this was worth it. Very helpful and friendly gentleman on the reception, thank you!!

can only say maybe the rooms were hot, but Prague had a heatwave so... luckily the aircon was working fine and only made a slight noise, i used earplugs as i am sensitive to noise but well, this wasn't anything i didnt like really. if it was that bad I shouldnt visit wamr countries :)

The location, near the centre and 2 metro lines, is excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well in the 34C heat. Breakfast was varied and well prepared; we liked the variety of loose teas. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Some of the rooms have bathtubs with no screens/shower curtains and the shower head is mounted at waist height, which isn’t so great for showering.

Spacious room, very clean. Hotel quiet but close to places of interest and to the station. Excellent choice of food for breakfast for one of our party. Not so good for the second member who has to follow a gluten-free diet as she is a coeliac. I asked the hotel if they could provide gluten-free bread - they would but at an extra £5 per night which I thought was extortionate, so brought my own.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room so we could make a cup of coffee/tea. The restaurant closes after breakfast at 10am so you cannot go and buy one on the premises. The person on reception was always willing to give us two mugs of hot water to compensate. I'm assuming the hotel doesn't get many British visitors: a UK TV station would have been nice.

Noise from wheels of suitcases of other people due to the uncarpeted floor next to my room. Clarification: most of the floor has carpet, but a small area next to the elevator and stairs would benefit from getting it too :)

So conveniently located just a few short blocks from Náměstí Míru,everything about Arkáda will please any traveler! The staff is more than pleasant, speaking English perfectly, and efficiently checking me into my accommodations, which were attractive, spotless, quiet, and just ideal in all ways.

I have no negative comments at all to make.

Location is really great, breakfast was nice also, room is clean and comfortable, staff is pleasant..all in all a pretty good experience, would reccomend! Bathroom is very spacious too!

Room for solo travelers is a bit too small. You can literally bang your head while sleeping - on one side of your pillow is the night stand and on the other one is cabinet.
