The Hotel Fitzgerald

We like the location it's very close to Prague downtown, the staff was very kind and friendly, the atmosphere, and the excellent service they provide for the guest, its amazing, the manager Michael a wonderful,happy, and kind man, in the reception was two receptionist Kebir was very nice, kind and friendly, and Alina a very kind and also nice care person, in the bar was Andreas a very friendly nice person,Pavel a wonderful young man, morning the breakfast was very big and a lot of options from drinks, bread, honey, marmalade, caffe, the, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, ham , juices,it was just great, the service and the food was very good, morning waitress Eva was such a sweet women, and Hosan the waiter very nice and pleasant guy, the lady that clean our room was also very kind, We only want to thank them with all of our heart, Marqueta was the events manager and she was also incredible nice and nett, when we forgot to mention somebody of the staff we apologize, thanks a lot Hotel Fitzgerald. We had a front desk receptionist host named, ( Thomas ) , he went over and above our exspectation , very helpful and professional, he is a credit to ( Hotel Fitzgerald ) .The breakfast is of high standards, our room was very clean with high quality furnishings. This Hotel should be rated a 5 ☆, very good location fo trams, the bus station. and subway .This is the best rating I have done, I have stayed in a through Hotels. with Booking.com. as they are a safe place to book your holidays.

Nothing all good

The location was great - very close to tram and metro stations without being too noisy. It was also just a 20-minute walk away from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and taken to reception where the check-in went smoothly. We even got a free welcome drink! The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. We got our beds made and new towels every day because we left the sign, asking the cleaning staff to do so. Breakfast was filling and varied.

The sink tap in the bathroom was kind of hard to lift. The walls were sort of thin so you could hear people in the hallway distinctly. The windows also did not keep out the noise too well.

The room was huge and well climatized. Large and confortable bed. The balcony was pleasant and a nice place to chill out. Many products on bathroom to use. Nice minibar on room.

Some thinhs were old, for exemple the doorknob to the bathroom kept falling off due to its age. Room needs some updating decoration wise.

Modern, clean and spacious rooms. Approx 20 minute pleasant walk from city centre, road was quiet and felt safe so no problems walking, tram stop was less than a 5 minute walk away also. Staff were kind and welcoming, even gave us a complimentary room upgrade as we were celebrating my birthday! Breakfast was tasty, not a huge or varied selection but everything you might want from a continental breakfast at a small boutique hotel. Very happy with our stay here and would definitely come back to the hotel Fitzgerald next time we are in Prague.

I wanted to be close to the Florenc metro station and this hotel was best. Comfy bed, the hot water was coming very fast (be careful as it is very hot) and the room was in good condition. The TV did not have many international channels, but I connected with the phone to it and was able to share. The breakfast was very tasty.

Some might not like the last floor (attic), but it was quiet. If you have have heavy luggage, ask for an intermediary floor as the elevator does not go directly to the attic.

Visiting Prague for a four day break. Great staff at the Fitzgerald. Nothing was too much trouble, had a problem with the lighting in our room on the second night when we came back from a full day and night sightseeing, the night manager was so helpful and tried everything he could to resolve the problem but eventually moved us to another room, he even carried some of our things for us and gave us a complementary bottle of wine for our troubles. Breakfast was OK and had plenty of choice. Michael, the bar/restaurant manager, was so friendly and gave us some recommendations of places to eat, drink and visit and again nothing was too much trouble. Transport links were just a short walk away, so all in all, the Fitzgerald was a perfect place to stay. Good luck for your wedding day Michael🔔🔔

Only one small thing, tea making facilities in the room would have been nice.

The room was a good size and clean. Their was a mini bar in a fridge. The breakfast was good- there was a selection of cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries along with scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, juices tea and coffee. Plenty for everyone to find something to eat. Staff were pleasant and helpful- even if they were not able to fix something - which in our room the a/c was not working but they tried, however as it was a weekend stay it was not possible to sort in time.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room, which would have been nice as they was a mini bar! The hotel is about a 20-25 min walk from the old town of Prague which was fine for us, however when we got back to the hotel after a long day of walking the bar was shut! It would have been nice if this was open till at least 11pm! As we walked back we could see other hotel bars open and presumed ours would be as it was not overly late, however I appreciate that things have changed since covid, but if somewhere is not open then you cannot have guests buy anything!

Really fun part of the city, close to transport and good venues. The room was set up well for our young daughter. Reception were professional and friendly which is not always the case in Prague. In fact, all staff were friendly which was great to see and made you feel welcome.

No block out blinds. While this seems common in CZ it may trouble light sleepers when the sun goes down late and rises early... particularly if you are trying to get a young one to bed.
