Beautiful bay with very close reefs full of colorful fish Hotel is right next to the beach which is way better than the other bigger hotels in Makadi. Staff was very helpful. We were a family of 5 and one was handicapped. They supplied a manual wheelchair to use on the beach. Food was generally ok.

Room cleanliness and speed of service( on the beach) can be improved but not a big deal.

Excellent resort . The food was amazing , many choices and all of them very good . Very nice beach in front of the hotel with various fish species. Shisha is included . Nice evening shows for kids and also for the others . Friendly staff

Unfortunately I did the booking 2 days before and the only room available was with its own garden (just separated by a hedge from the main public garden), which is completely useless . The room was exactly the same as the one of my friend , but I payed double price . I think it is not fair the double price for a garden which I don’t see any way to use it.

I liked the hotel village as such very much. not too big, just right. Location is right at the beautiful beach. Rooms have a nice size and were fitting a family of 3. Everything was within reach at short distance. Pool area is very beautiful with sufficient sun chairs. Same at the beach. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They really found a solution of each of our issues. Food and drinks are all inclusive us being served all day. Amount of feed and variety is enormous. Very nice bar areas. We would certainly come again.

Gym should be bigger and better equipped. As such can hardly be used for anything. Although we liked the food overall our personal taste would favour more individually spiced dishes with local taste. Also cakes and sweets, although beautifully presented, could in our view taste better. If you are in to entertainment there is better places. But for us it was absolutely sufficient. But for all our smaller complaints and putting things into perspective you have to say value for money is great.

Very friendly staff in all areas of the hotel - from the very engaged front desk people to the waiters to the room cleaning team. We would like to extend our special gratitude to Mohamed Abd El Atty from the reception, who went above and beyond to help us get our delayed luggage from the Airport. The pool is nice, the beach and snorkeling at the reef is fantastic. The kids enjoyed the water slides park, which is only a 10 min (complementary) bus ride away. The food was good - besides a buffet, there was a make to order station at each meal.

The only annoying thing we experienced during our week in Makadi Bay was that the neighboring hotels don't let you use the jetty (for free), even for snorkeling. We only learned that after a long walk. It is supposed to be nice since the reef structure is different, so if other guests want to do this, take some cash with you.

Everything in this hotel is on high level, set up mostly to german standard. The stuff are super polite and decent, from lughage boy to waiters, Fady was particulary professional. The food in the restaraunt is super good and versatile. Beach is great because there is no shallow water with corals, direct entrance to finest sandy water. Entertainment team doing great effort to make people feel good. In the evening, every night is different music show, some of them were specatcular. Outside pool warmed but just smaller one, during my stay in December.

-human size hotel (compared to other huge nearby infrastructures) hence allows the staff to grt to recognize you -brilliant location right on the beach -onsite diving centre -excellent house reef for diving and snorkelling -very friendly and helpful staff -room was confortable and clean -food was very good a varied every day. This was very unlike other typical all inclusive resorts where food is boring and always the same. Clearly here you could see the Chef every day walking around and ensuring everything was nice.

The gym is really small

The sandy beach is great and since it is at Makadi bay it is less windy here. The house riffs are perfect for snorkeling. The food at the buffet is very tasty and varied. The staff is very attentive and really deserves tipping. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff also speaks German since most of the guests are from Germany.

The pool is too small for a hotel this size. There should also be more whirlpools. The music from neighboring hotels is too loud during the day at the beach and during the evening shows.

The hotel is compact compared to others in Hurghada, and the sea is accessible from any most distant room 5 min max. Well maintained territory, very green. Rooms are large, all standard. We booked "patio" room, willing to stay on the ground floor, while it apeared that it is only in building #7 they have them, and this building is far from the beach and main resto. Also it was close to the road where trucks started at 6 a.m. So we changed for 1st floor in another building. The staff is all very positive and willing to help, from Front Desk to restaurant waiters and the room attendants. It is very pleasant. Positively surprised by food that was just our style: variety of oriental/mediterranian starters, lots of fried, braised, barbequed, sauted meets (very good quuality), some nice but not excessive fish, and wide selection of sweet stuff. Fresh fruit could be more. We did not expect to have fresh oysters or meals like in a Michelin place, but the food was fresh and tasty every day, some dished were simply good. We did not use "a la carte" restaurants for dinner as were satisfied in the main one. The beach is another positive surprise. Very nice sand beach, deep water quickly, while a shallow bank with the live riff after, all at 50 meter range. Good bar service on the beach, if you are not overly demanding to variety of drinks. We used a private boat to a riff, that was entertaining while not worth the money, as the riff was same as in front of the hotel. So pay attention on what they promote to you and insist they take you to where they advertise. The pool is visibly clean not very large and was full of kids, and we did not use it. We also took a desert ride in quad bikes that was nice. There are shops of all kinds 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel, but we bought only fresh fruit and some pharma stuff. All in the place was convenient and nice, from all our group of 8 (no children under 10) nobody had a major issue to complain.

All was good, while several small issues can be improved, of which main is quality of douch soap and shampoo in the rooms. Also even at minimum speed the A/Cs in all our rooms were quite noisy. The shower water was just warm, not hot in 2 of 3 rooms that we had.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, especially as a family with young child. The place is fantastic for kids, with plenty of safe and fun activities to keep them entertained. The food was both delicious and clean, with a variety, thanks to chef. What truly made our experience memorable, though, was the staff—they were incredibly warm, friendly, and always willing to help. We felt so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!”
