Gorgeous marble building. Beautiful well maintained gardens. Service was amazing throughout the hotel, including in particular, at reception, in the restaurants and bars, and room service. There were lots of hard-working, friendly staff always on hand and helpful, and very quick to attend whatever your need. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with jacuzzi which was huge. The bed was supremely comfortable, with quiet effective air-con, so great sleep assured. It had a wonderful view down the length of the hotel to the Red Sea. We watched the sun-rise over the sea from our balcony each morning at 6.00am - beautiful. The hotel has a short jetty that takes you to the edge of the coral reef where you can see an amazing variety of colourful fish and coral, simply by snorkelling. There's a PADI dive centre right there on the beach, and plenty of boat trips. But to be honest, we were very happy just snorkelling. We also loved the main pool, and alternated between the beach and pool. The daytime animation team will keep you fit with aqua aerobics and other activities if you want them, and the hotel evening entertainment was probably the best we've seen anywhere. There's also a more relaxed pool between the main pool and the beach, and a crazy golf course which we played twice. We ate in the main buffet restaurant in the main block of the hotel, and in the second buffet on the sea-front (the 'Ultra-All-Inclusive' buffet). We enjoyed the locations of both buffet restaurants and the variety of food they offered so much, that we didn't get around to trying the a-la-carte restaurants although there are several you can book if you want to. There's also a snack bar and a drinks bar by the beach, which were very handy!

There are a few shops on-site which are very convenient if you need them, but they are expensive, and we preferred the experience and better value of the bazaars in town. Freshly cooked food was always nice and hot, but it would have been great if the silver chafing dishes could have kept it hotter for longer.

Very nice and kind staff. Everything is well organized, the all inclusive package it was more than enough for us. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are so delicious, lots of food and beverages are in AI package. We mainly used the relaxing salty pools and it was very good and we can chill out and relax. The coral reef in the hotel beach is amazing, stunning with a lots of different colourful fishes and live corals. I reccomend this hotel very much if you would like to stay in a nice place like a king:-)

Our stay at the Serenity Makadi was fabulous from start to finish. Our spacious room overlooked the relax pool ( one of 5 pools) and the stunning gardens, which made the hotel feel very calm and special. The gardeners worked non-stop, creating a fabulous, immaculate environment in which we enjoyed wandering around. The staff were all superb - extremely friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful. Special mentions should go to Ahmed at the relax pool and Bay Watch bar, Emad and Amir at the terrace and lobby bar, Waleed at the Bay Watch restaurant, Mohamed at the relax pool bar, Mohamed servicing the towels and sunbeds at the relax pool and Ahmed at the beach bar. The staff do not expect tips, but are very appreciative if you do tip them. Their service is impeccable regardless. We advise you to take US dollar bills for tips. We had large Egyptian pound notes and no where to change into smaller notes. The exchange rate is far better in the hotel and it's unecessary to get Egyptian pounds before you go. Victoria, deputy manager, made our stay very pleasurable, upgrading us to the Bay Watch restaurant overlooking the beach, which was a great deal more peaceful. The food at both restaurants was very good - always plentiful and varied, with freshly cooked BBQ food each evening. The beach wasn't exceptional, but the sunbeds, parasols and wind breaks - yes, it can get very windy! - make it very comfortable. Beach shoes are useful if you have sensitive feet! The sea was fabulous. Crystal clear and quite warm and teaming with thousands of different coloured fish. Take your own snorkels - although you can rent them. Weather wise (we went end of February to beginning of March) the days were hot and sunny with plenty of wind, but the evenings were very cool, especially when it was windy. We advise you to take some warm layers - our gilets were very welcome!

Evening entertainment could be improved although didn't affect our enjoyment.

The best thing about this place is the hospitality. The staff was more than welcoming. Couldn’t thank enough Mr. Mohamed Sobhy the manager for being extremely helpful and welcoming. Once we arrived they upgraded our rome into the executive suite with sea view. The next day he called to invite us to dinner and breakfast in the bay watch restaurant with its amazing view over the sea. We have been to alot of hotels in Hurghada but this one was extremely beautiful in all aspects. The rooms were amazing and spacious. The food was delicious with varities.

Nothing everything was amazing.

We loved the snorkelling right from the beach- beautiful reef, with so many different fish, and we even got to swim with dolphins that happened to swim by one afternoon and stayed for over an hour! It was a sandy beach and the first area when you walked into the water was a sort of tide pool area with little sea stars, great for children. To get out past the coral reef you need to go out on the pier, and it gets you right to the amazing areas. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

The hospitality was excellent, starting with Mr. Mohamed sobhy, the front office manager who made our accommodation memorable as honeymooners.the vibes there are calming and cheerful due to the views all over the place .All the staff were helpful and smile on your face all the time .To the food, there were a variety of choices for all tasts, and they have really good professional chefs ( loved the bay- watch resturant for breakfast & dinner) ,they keep pools aslo clean all day, room was excellent.Very high recommended for a honeymoon couple or for relaxation.

Everything is very beautiful, and the reception staff are all excellent, led by Mr. Muhammad and the hotel manager, Mr. Alaa. The place is clean, the rooms are spacious and organized, the restaurants are all excellent, the variety of food is very nice, the restaurant staff are all excellent, and they respond quickly to requests even if they are not present in the restaurant. The swimming pools are all excellent, and the bars are all beautiful and organized. I would like to repeat the visit many times for the good reception, the cleanliness of the place, and the treatment of all those in charge of the work with a sufficient degree of responsibility. By God, I felt that the village belonged to them, not that they were employees. Thank you to every person I dealt with or served me without seeing them.

Everything is very beautiful

This resort is one of the best resorts in Hurghada, the stuff was very friendly, the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing mood, all facilities were available, food variety was great, and room service was perfect. There is a professional diving center inside the resort. I’d like to thank the GM Mr. Alaa for his hospitality and kindness, definitely Serenity resort will be in my next vacation agenda.

For those who are looking for a sandy beach, this resort will not be the perfect choice, it’s common condition in most of Hurghada (generally Red Sea) resorts that beaches are rocky, however you can enjoy snorkeling and diving near to the resort.

Being able to have breakfast and lunch at the beachside restaurant was great as less crowded and pre or post dinner drinks. Adult only pool quiet and staff maintaining this, good entertainment staff providing activities throughout the day up at the activity pool or beach volleyball etc. Staff all excellent, happy to help and great service. Food was good, particularly where it was freshly cooked at the stations both inside and out. Really good Dive Centre on site with good boat trips and day or night dives from the pier. 2nd holiday in 2 years here and I am sure we will be returning.

Very limited staff at new beachside cafe for lunch, waited 45 mins for lunch and 20 mins just to get a drink, only one member of staff taking orders.

This hotel is my best in hurgada it is my second time there i would come back again thank you stuff👌❤
