Snorkelling and Diving from the Hotel jetty was magnificent. Fantastic array of fish and a great dive centre make it truly memorable. Can't wait to get back.

Simply the best service we have experienced in Egypt by far. The hotel staff is very very pleasant, friendly, polite, and professional. The services and service both superb. The room, which are all suites, and some have their own private pool, are simply perfect. They have not missed a single detail in making your stay as comfortable as possible (they even have a nice beach-bag for you to use during your stay - if you forgot yours). We would've loved to try the Indian cuisine, but unfortunately we stayed for just one night, and their Indian restaurant only operates four nights a week. Maybe next time :) Definitly a place to visit again and stay at!

Absolutely nothing

The food was beyond delicious! Best Indian food in Egypt. Staff is friendly and very helpful, hotel is generous in everything. The in-suite shower experience is exceptional!

Property needs to be modernised, for example: replace keys with digital access, replace nescafe sachets with espresso machines, reduce waste (use of plastic, food leftover..)

Very good breakfast and dinner. Very good stuff & cooks! Location and restaurants are very nice! We missed the barbecue (from may 2022) in october there was no barbeque outside! No bellydancer!

Every afternoon They bring a paper for massages a.s.o.-very disturbing! If You are sitting on Your terrace naked!

Very highly welcoming and trained staff - best thing about the hotel. Rooms are absolutely amazing and spacious. The hotel is very quiet and private if you prefer to have a private getaway. I would recommend it for honeymooners in Egypt.

The pool is small (and a little bit boring). The hotel can get very very quiet at night - We found nothing to do at night, so we had to drive somewhere else to go out at night. I always prefer open buffet for breakfast, but it was an ala carte menu (it was very good though). The Indian restaurant was not that good.

This is definitely a fantastic property managed professionally by the oberoi team. We had the best experience of all the luxury 5- star hotels we stayed in Egypt during our 2 week trip across Egypt. The service and the food is excellent , and the staff go above and beyond. At checkin we were warmly welcomed by Amit and the Front Office staff (Sayed ). At the bar, Maher and his cocktail making was excellent. During the food service Alaa was very attentive and catered to all our requests. He packed us sandwiches to go at check out which was much appreciated. Chefs Pappu, Mohammed and Nibendu gave us fantastic food both Indian and Egyptian- and the food ( vegetarian and meat/ fish) at this property is the best we had in Egypt. We also enjoyed our stay at the pool and on the beach. We will be back again.

The in suite TV entertainment could be improved and brought up-to speed with current norms.

The staff here are above and beyond anywhere I have ever stayed. The rooms are super well maintained, and anything you need or could ask for they will provide or find for you. food is excellent- - pool was warm and clean, everything you would expect from a 5star hotel. I wanted a week or two off after not having vacation for the last 2 years and wanted somewhere I could take my kids (ages 8-12) where we had the option to do trips outside the hotel but could also just stay on the grounds and be happy-- so the hotel was ideal for this. We even ended up doing scuba lessons (more on this below) which had excellent trained teachers who were able to work with the kids in the water at ages 9-12 without issue.

a few minor things to be aware of: - the beach is amazing but all coral, so you have to swim off the doc which isn't good for kids under 10 so there isnt really anywhere for them to swim but the pool and if you are going for a bay/beach swim vacation it may not be the ideal spot - the spa was only open for massages due to covid, so ask before booking as this I am sure changes often and is no fault of the hotel but more something to be aware of regardless of these two things, I would return in a minute, just more trip notes to be aware of when booking as we were going for a beach swimming/spa trip

It's a beautiful resort

Traveling internationally, we arrived very late....3am, once check in was complete, it was 4am. A few days before arriving we messaged them about our long travel and late arrival, and requested a late check out so that we could get some rest and we were only staying one night before getting on a live aboard dive boat. They could not accommodate us because they said they had guests arriving for early check in for the room we were staying in. Sooooo they granted an early check in giving priority to other guests who hadn't even arrived yet, and did not grant us late check out, even though were were guests already.

it’s simply stunning and spacious at the far end of a very built up seaside resort/town

Exceptional service, super clean and great breakfast. We had an amazing stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh and was the highlight of our 3 week holiday. The resort has an incredible dive centre! My partner completed his open water diving course and I joined for some fun dives - we had a really enjoyable time with Mahmoud and Diaa. The resort has a beautiful reef close by which was a real highlight. Highly recommend this resort and the dive centre and wish we stayed longer.
