Food: 10/10 Exceptional restaurant quality dishes with amazing flavor and presentation- chef quality! Customer Service: 10/10 Very accommodating and friendly, among the best I have ever experienced. From the moment we stepped on the property at check-in, someone is there to help along the way. View: 10/10 Beautiful views of the river and beach!

Cleanliness: 5/10 Landscaping/ outside is absolutely pristine, workers are always cleaning/ sweeping BUT the actual villas inside need some improvement, floors are very dirty and not mopped well (my feet were always black from the dirt), shower and sink are not scrubbed well but bed sheets are very clean. Wi-Fi: 4/10 Smart TV didn’t work half the time and I would constantly lose signal while using my phone.

This hotel was great. They have two pools that they keep very clean, one of which has shade, and they both have a bar nearby. The rooms are nice and clean, and the facilities are kept clean as well. The best part, is that this hotel is walking distance to a bunch of restaurants/shops. So you don't need a car! Also, all the staff here were very nice and courteous.

We didn't really like the location in terms of the beach. The beach nearby is not your typical sandy beach, it has rocks and it is hard to get to the water. Also the water is very dirty and does not look like it's a good idea to get in. I also didn't like the room set up. We got the villa, and I loved how it has a separate living space and bedroom space, but the shower does not have it's own door. So if someone is in the bedroom space there is not a lot of privacy.

The facility itself is lovely, clean, and spacious. I enjoyed that there were 2 totally separate pool areas, including a space with a swim-up bar. The included breakfast is good and filling. The walk to the beach isn't far, however, there is a lot of construction along the beach near the resort currently so getting to the main block requires some wandering. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

The food and drinks were pretty expensive. My friend and I had lunch when we first arrived and it was by far the most expensive meal of our entire trip! The bathroom setup was a bit complicated to share with a friend, as the toilet and shower and separate and the space in-between the two is open/exposed to the rest of the room. The room itself was a bit dark.

Very clean , staff is very helpful and friendly , food was great I saw some reviews saying is pricey I don’t know what they talking about I though the price was fair for the quality of the food , pools were clean

They have a jacuzzi you can reserve an hour per room and jacuzzi are suppose to be hot this one was same temperature of the pool , it was cool private area though , another thing I notice is on one side of the pool next to the other hotel or wherever it is there is a weird smell that I think comes out of the drain vent coming from that hotel they need to talk to them to rerouted going up instead on the side, it wasn’t all the time I felt it but is there randomly only when you walk pass by

We had a great time at this resort! It is tucked away in a quiet corner of El Tunco but still within easy walking distance of the main town and beach. There is a guarded walkway at the back of the property along the river that leads to the boardwalk area in front of the beach. The resort has two pools and we never had trouble getting a couple of chairs, the entire place has well tended, tropical landscaping. Our room, suite 5, was on the third floor overlooking the river. We loved the location and could see the surfers in the morning and at dusk, room itself was a decent size, shower was huge, and the A/C worked great. The included breakfast was very good, just make sure to ask the waiter which breakfast selections are included and which are additional. If you want to visit El Zonte or another beach town, the hotel can set up a private transfer, unless you are extremely lucky you will not be able to get an Uber.

Boca Olas is a wonderful resort, and we cannot wait to return! We originally planned our stay for only two nights; however, upon our first night, we already knew we'd be extending. The service is impecable. Staff is very attentive and extremely friendly. The facilities are absolutely stunning and I cannot express how neat and tidy everything was, not to mention comfortable. From the bed to the poolside chairs, everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, nice spacious shower, and bathroom. Smart TV was a great plus for Netflix watchers. There are two pools, which was great. We didn't even leave the facilities the last couple of days, as there's also a ping pong table, pool table, pool bar, rooftop-like Jacuzzi for the guests. Basically, there's lots to do if you'd prefer to stay in. Can't wait to go back! Thank you for everything.

The Resort is beautiful, kept in perfect condition. The Villas are very comfortable and spacious, with view to the beautiful garden or river. The restaurant is open to the views and the pool, it is Salvador’s paradise. The best part is the attention, 100 out of 10. They would help us in any way to make us feel comfortable and pampered. We normally travel to many countries and places during the year, and I think this has been the best attention I have received in all my trips around the world! They would bring us anything we need to the Villa, at anytime. immediately. Thank you so much!! We truly enjoyed staying at Boca Olas!!

We loved it all. Internet could be stronger inside the villas, if you need to work or watch movies online.

the facilities of the hotel were amazing! the pools were clean and the staff were lovely. we had a brilliant time spending Christmas at Boco Olas

during the first two nights of our stay the phone kept ringing in the middle of the night with no answer. The reception didn’t really seem to care and just unplugged the phone but I would like to have had an apology or some care by the reception. I would also add that for the price, I would think the rooms would be a bit better (they were dated and lacked light)

The location was prefect. Being in the heart of Surf City but far enough from the clubs. Yet only a 5 min walk with well lighted streets. Hotel has security 24hrs but it's not need. The breakfast was very good with a typical Salv flavor. It selection was enough for you to have a little of everything you may need. The location of the breakfast very nice, next to the to river with a bit of an ocean view.

On this visit, I didn't find anything I did not like.
