Friendly staff, comfortable ambience, clean pool. Good home-style restaurant attached with direct access, excellent soups and variety of local dishes, tasty steaks and shellfish - served to your room for no extra charge. Many other places to eat nearby, including good coffee shops and restaurants in the Bambú mall opposite - including a branch of the famous Típicos Margoth, which is v popular and excellent value. Skip Brutto (over-salted expensive food, but a good view).

Steep slope to hotel from street - not easy for anyone with walking difficulties. Industrial bread with the traditional breakfasts, when tortillas (even if toasted from frozen) would be a better offering. The shared toilet is best avoided - the fault of some guests, not the sraff. Proximity of some noisy music venues.

First of all the staff are very helpful, warm and welcoming. The hotel is clean, has incredible breakfasts included and my room had a small fridge which was very handy too. The pool was stunning and just right for small people to enjoy too. Great location and we happily walked around the area. Uber was also handy to get around with. Not yellow or unmarked cabs.

Nothing we didn't like. Just be aware, if you arrive late (we arrived at midnight) and be prepared to leave your ID - passport or drivers licence (I left the later) with the guard over night, as check-in needs the receptionist and your ID for security, not just your booking email. This worked out fine.

Have stayed here a few times - the fact I keep coming back tells you alot! Always great service, clean, comfortable, great location, super clean. Alba and Javier, who are there most of the time, are exceptional hosts and really want you to have a lovely time. Can't say enough good things about them, seriously. Make sure you say "hi" when you go there!

The walk to the hotel is up a short, but very steep hill so be aware. Breakfast is a little limited after a few days, but always nice and always prompt.

the service and staff were great and the free breakfast was delicious also, oh and the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent as well, when I come back to ES I’ll more and likely stay there again

The room was very comfortable & the room facilities were excellent. All the staff were so friendly & helpful, especially Javier & the lady at the reception desk. Breakfasts were great & more than enough for my needs. There was a small gym although I didn't use it. Sitting outside on the breakfast terrace enjoying the sunshine & the local bird life was really enjoyable whilst eating my breakfast. I could sit there for hours. & having the small room balcony the room was also great to enjoy in the mornings & evenings when we were at home. There was also a hot & cold water dispenser available 24/7. There were a couple of very good seafood restaurants close by to enjoy. I would definitely recommend Las Magnolias Hotel Boutique & l definitely intend to return when I can!

We enjoyed our stay at Las Magnolias when we first arrived in San Salvador we decided to spend our last night there again after exploring the Ruta de Las Flores, which I would recommend to anyone who has the time. The hotel is small, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This stay was in a double room, which was a good size and seemed to have been updated more recently compared to the triple room we were given on our first 3 day stay. As vegans there isn't any option but the staff made a lovely plantain, bean and tomato dish which was tasty. The location is close to lots of restaurants, supermarket and shopping center.

The hotel need updating throughout, its not an issue as it's comfortable, but the image on the website isnt what you get in every room.

Very friendly staff, we felt at home. Good Wifi, digital TV, modern AC. All the equipment worked as intended. Good value for money. Clean enough and serviced daily.

The building needs refurbishments. If you expect a more upscale hotel, pay more and book somewhere else. You get what you pay for. We stayed for eight nights and looked for an economic solution this time.

Pool was very nice, the restaurant area was incredible. Staff was very nice, even the guard in the parking lot. Bed was cozy and AC was working fine, as well as the cable TV. They even have hot and cold water.

At night, I found two cockroaches inside the bathing area in the bathroom. Curtains are old but work and terrace is very limited in space but enough for 2 people to sit outside. Breakfast menu is very limited in options, just includes 2 per room, children or other plate is extra $.

Everyone was extremely nice and very accommodating. From getting us into our room earlier than we expected to keeping our bags for us before check in and even after our checkout while we went to go kill time before our flight back home. Breakfast was simple, but so delicious! Would definitely love to stay here again.

Las Magnolias is well situated in Zona Rosa with its bars and cafes, yet is quiet and secure. It is a good place to stay for exploring all of San Salvador as taxis and Ubers are abundant and easy to use. Our room was spacious, clean and had a lovely little private balcony surrounded by plants and birds. There was a good choice of breakfast and all the ones we sampled were really tasty. We enjoyed eating in the pretty garden near the small pool. The staff were attentive and helpful.
