Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel because the location was central: close to downtown, but not in the middle. My room with a view (floors 4 and 5) show the city skyline. Loved it. The room was super clean (I'm picky). Loved the smell of the hotel and my room. The bed was comfortable for me - not too hard and not too soft. Loved being able to watch the Australian Open. Summit, who greeted me in the lobby at the desk, was super welcoming and friendly. Loved that the lobby had free coffee (from a fancy coffee maker that makes expressos and mochas and all the coffee stuff many coffee lovers may want to try - smile). Lots of room to experiment. For breakfast, the hotel offered complimentary pastry varieties from Homeboy Industries, a local nonprofit organization. Love that this hotel supports that organization! The size of the hotel was perfect. It was safe. Easy in and out (at least during the time I arrived). I booked one night. Then, the next day booked another night. Once booked, they were communicative via texts, sharing whatever information that was needed to access the parking garage, the lobby, etc. Super helpful, engaging, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The hotel is new and sparkling, an exceptional amount of thought has gone into the design, in layout and facilities. The owners have succeeded in creating a scandi feel - functional but still cozy. The owners/staff are extremely helpful and obviously take a great pride in keeping the hotel spotless and the standards high. Free on site parking is a tremendous bonus for a Hotel on LA. Short walk or Uber to the centre of downtown and there are genuine bars and eateries within walking distance.

Found a gem in the middle of the city. Small boutique hotel with friendly staff. I enjoyed the mobile check in process and texting system the hotel uses. Made it easy to communicate with the staff. They had a very nice espresso machine in the lobby and some nice morning pastries. I was impressed with their attention to details such as the toilet paper holder with cell phone shelf, usb-c plugs in the room, wireless phone charging clock. They even had a nice little sound machine to get me into a deep sleep. Bed and shower comfy and clean. Nice modern minimalist design overall. I'm coming back next time I'm in DTLA. Not the hotel for you if you need a onsite restaurant or pool and spa. Perfect for a someone who is Ubering around LA but they also have some parking I noticed as well. About a 15 minute walk to financial district where i was headed. Great pizza place nearby called Gra recommended by hotel staff.

I liked everything except that i couldn't stay a few more days. I especially like that they were strict in enforcing their policies. I saw another group have to leave the hotel becase they tried to have more than the alloted number of guests in their room. I appreciate the hotel enforcing this so I and other guests can have a peacuful stay.

Nestled in the neighborhood of West Downtown L.A., this hotel may be situated in a dingy and sketchy area, but I surprisingly felt safe throughout my stay. Despite the neighborhood's atmosphere, the hotel itself showcased a cool, modern vibe one would associate with a boutique hotel, although the lobby and elevator's heavy use of air freshener was a bit overkill.

Prior to arrival, I was annoyed by the excessive number of text messages received, especially when they included a link to an online portal requiring credit card submission. Despite verifying with the hotel, the mandatory online check-in process added unnecessary anxiety, and I wish they offered a more relaxed approach for guests who prefer to complete registration upon arrival.
