staff is cheerful, helpful and really very nice, even just passing them in the hallway, they were cheerful greeters.

our room was across from the laundry room where the maids work and they were enjoying each other with lively chatting which is refreshing to see due to so many people are grumpy at work and don't like their co-workers...these folks seem to really enjoy working together BUT their chatter and laughter was a bit loud, especially in the early morning when we were trying to sleep in a little.

The parking lot had a good amount of lighting, and is off the main road a bit so it feels more secure. the building was clean, and the pair and appearance of the building was nice. The lobby and halls were well kept and clean, not trash or questionable stains. We stayed in a king room, and it was very spacious for the price. the bed was really comfortable, and it did not have that typical hotel smell.

It does need some updating, like many hotels. The carpets for sure should be replaced in the halls. They had several pillows on the bed, however 3 would equate to maybe one normal pillow, they were very thin.

Friendly staff; 2 or 3 of us slept well/were comfortable in beds/pull out; temperature of room; everything worked (TV, fridge, etc). Enjoyed the provided breakfast. Everywhere else was pretty much booked, so we were so grateful to get one of your last rooms! For a booked hotel, it didn't seem crazy-busy, loud, etc., which was nice.

The room's coffee pot already had water in the reservoir which grossed us out so we didn't use it; while sheets and a blanket were provided for the pull out sofa, a pillow was not, so we had to donate a bed pillow to the user of the pull out. My husband did not sleep well in the king bad, which might have been since he only got one pillow, not sure.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and was surprised by the amount of choices that were available (sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits with gravy, muffins etc). I also upgraded my room for a little extra, and was surprised by how big our room was and how comfortable the bed was too. The air conditioner worked great. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and rags. The little sitting area had a fridge, microwave and small couch to relax. It's definitely one of the better hotels that we've stayed in.

The only con for me was the shower head barely moving for adjustment, but the pro was the great pressure and the water was nice and hot.

I was treated very good and room was great.

Kept having issues with my payments. And then was charged and left with me having an over due balance. And they was the one having issues with the computer. I am still trying to figure out why the young lady charged me one amount on that Saturday but they went and charged me again. I still haven't received my deposit and when I do it going to the overdraft they put on my account. Never ever had this issue before

I had to book a hotel at the last minute due to an impending snow storm on my original arrival date. The Comfort Inn was the best price, so I resigned myself to enduring the stay since it would only be for two days. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. this hotel was clean and comfortable, had a full buffet for breakfast, and provided a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you for a job well done!

I was pleased with all aspects of this hotel. should I need to return to the area, I will definitely be staying at this Comfort Inn.

The staff was very friendly, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. There's a very small room with workout equipment but it did the job. One of the staff even brought me a bottle of water during my workout!

The bedding and bathroom were clean but there were stains on the curtains in the room and in the carpet.

The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous. Overall, the room was comfortable, met our expectations, and very well priced.

The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, as though it had been cleaned with mildewy rags. Surprisingly, the bathtub had no handrails. hand grips, or rails, and we could see where someone taking a shower could easily fall. The breakfast was average to below average--nothing elaborate. The juice machine was broken and there was no water provided, even in carafes. Orange juice in 1/2 gallon containers was provided.

The hotel was very clean, we loved our room, we had a lot of space and needed it being there for five days. We were happy with the location and the breakfast was so much better than we expected! I know it may sound crazy raving over a hotel breakfast, but this facility did it right! The staff, with the exception of the laundry folks, were outstanding!

In the five days we were there, the only issue we had was with getting extra towels one day. We never asked housekeeping to come in to clean or make beds or anything those five days. The only things we asked for, on about Day 3 was more towels. We had to ask FOUR time throughout the day. We finally went to the front desk and told them about it and we were told that a handful of other guests were having the same issue and it would be handled and it was.

I was able to get a superior king suite with a hot tub for less than any surrounding hotels were charging for a standard king room without a jacuzzi. Also, the location was great for our purposes - 10 minutes from two kings casino and Carowinds.

Would have been nice to have a smoking option for rooms since there was no balcony. Also the soap dishes in the shower were wire witch allowed the soap to fall through; otherwise everything was great.
