Quality Inn Atlantic Beach-Mayo Clinic Jax Area

very comfortable rooms, clean & affordable. the bed was absolutely one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. we stayed 8 nights. all staff were very polite. super close distance to everything: 10 mins to the beach (18th street) 10 mins to Neptune/ Atlantic beach with lots of local bars. lots of restaurants close by.

friday and saturday night we struggled to find parking, i assume because of the Pub. you can hear everything going on outside. we had some noisy neighbors that were up around 6 am a few days that we stayed. we could hear their whole phone conversation.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the property is kept up by the staff and the room was was cute and had everything I needed for an extended stay the bed was super comfortable and that is a huge plus the staff accepted my Amazon packages which I appreciated the breakfast was good and the pool was nice location great for east access to freeways and the beach I felt pretty safe and when there was an issue staff handled it promptly Job well done!

Occasionally some sketchy people but that is almost anywhere now

I really liked the fact that we were all able to stay on the same floor along the same side of the building. Also being able to see the pool within window sight. We absolutely loved the pub/Karaoke night w/ friends. Also the friendly and fun staff members made our stay very welcoming. The distance to Neptune where we had our wedding ceremony was easy to access and most of what we needed was on the same strip as the hotel...i.e. Family Dollar. (A slight setback noted below)

I didn't like the fact that the rooms closer to the corner area stayed moist most of the time. It made the clothing we brought for our wedding ceremony feel damp. Also, they lacked adequate outside lighting to come in, so for the most part the lower end rooms stayed dark and damp. Not something we expected, but dealt with. I would have preferred rooms closest to the center of the area than at the edge or bottom corner above the office. TOO DAMP AND DARK... Rooms 110 - 112. We didn't realize this until the following day after noticing the dampness. The heater only intensified the problem...similar to a dryer with damp clothing.

The pool was nice the location was great I've been here several times and stated this hotel specifically is always a good experience The room is always clean and it's usually it always a no hassle check-in

The facilities are good that's the only thing I didn't give a 10 and it's just a little wear and tear is all The facilities aren't brand new you can tell the hotel's been there for a moment but otherwise it's clean up kept it's nice I love staying here especially with the location

It was a nice stay. Check in and check out was super easy. Staff was very friendly even at 1130pm. It was a quiet stay even with attached pub. I could hear it from the parking lot but once I got in my room, silence.

When I made my reservation it asked how many guest. I selected 4. When I got into my room there were only 2 regular size towels, 2 hand towels, and one wash cloth. No big deal really but I think you should be given atleast the amount of guest you have at checkin

The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. Our room had a, what I would call, apartment size refrigerator and kitchen sink and microwave with plenty of storage for food items. No utensils or dishes were provided, but who wants to do dishes while vacationing? So, bring your own paper products if you intend on making lunch or dinner in your room. The breakfast provided by Quality Inn included juices (even grape juice) eggs, sausage, french toast sticks, sausage gravy, biscuits and various breads, various cereals, yogurts, grits, and more. There was a market area off of the reception area for additional groceries and other items. This location is pet friendly.

The only item we didn't like was the daily housekeeping not leaving enough towels and washcloths for our family.

Hotel room exceeded expectations in almost every regard! Clean, friendly and helpful staff, looks recently remodeled, and is affordable!

We didn't realize that this particular location was a motel instead of a hotel (doors to room outside instead of inside a building). Shame on us for not double-checking, but worth mentioning if it matters to anyone else reading reviews. Water pressure on the 3rd floor starts to get a little weak.

Location was good and that was a main reason I chose it along with the cost. Nice TV and bed. Nice to have a free breakfast but some days cold sausage and hard cold biscuits. Enjoyed being able to walk to breakfast and husband liked the sausage gravy. Easy access to beach and golf courses and restaurants.

Pool was dirty and I did not feel real safe with all the noise and arguments going on outside our room at night. Ice maker make a lot of noise. Maybe move it to the end of the hall so only a few rooms are disturbed. or into lobby away from rooms.

The word "effiency" is deceiving. And when u repeatedly upgrade, they just charge you money, there is No other upgrade. All of our rooms were the same, yet we paid different prices, some of us upgraded on sight. Still same room. Also do Not provide wash cloths. Breakfast was NOT yummy. Eggs and Sausage can tell frozen out of a box. Gravy was cold even tho it was in a crockpot. Should have been cream cheese with the bagels. Muffins. Bacon.

This hotel was located 5 minutes from several beaches. Very family friendly. THe room was clean and spacious. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was extremely friendly and polite. The waffles for breakfast were a highlight for my 4yo. There is a pub on site. We didn't go, but they seemed to do a pretty good business.
