+ Very convenient location, a little bit of a walk from the main strip (approx 5-7 mins) but we enjoyed the peace and quiet + Views of the canal and city (after being upgraded to the 43rd level, the views were amazing) + Customer service + Security, the lobby is manned by security 24/7 and require a key card to enter + The convenience of a smart car rental on the ground floor made it easier to rent a car to get around the island! + Ice and water available to refill daily

- The lifts take a long time to get anywhere, most of the time you'll be waiting for the lifts to get to your level (the amount of lifts do not adequately service the amount of people in the building) - Homeless people like to loiter across the street at night

Great centralized location. Friendly front desk and parking attendant staff. Older hotel that is currently going through some renovations, but we got a great deal. Great views from our floor and didn't have to use the AC since there was always a cool breeze coming through when we had the living room windows and sliding door in bedroom open. Lots of shops and eateries within walking distance.

The bed could have been more comfortable, but we didn't plan on lounging around in the room for too long.

I booked a king suite with a kitchenette and initially received a single king room with a hot plate and a microwave. The description I paid for was a full kitchenette with granite countertops and a full refrigerator. I had to complain in order to get the room I paid for.

All the rooms need to be upgraded to the descriptions online. This is very deceiving. I traveled with my daughters high school volleyball team and other parents and coaches as well as my husband and everyone had the same complaint. We were not given what we paid for. For me and another parent after complaining we got the actual rooms we paid for but everyone else did not.

Location is great and the restaurant downstairs has awesome local foods and very convenient I ate their breakfast 4 mornings in a roll and the prices are totally reasonable. Washed clothes while I swam at the pool because both facilities on same floor plus I got snacks from the convenient store there also.

The only thing I can think of was the switching of elevators that’s all

Excellent location in the center of Waikiki. You can walk to the beach through the famous Royal Hawaiian Hotel. It has a convenience store inside the hotel. The staff are excellent. They were very friendly and polite everyday. I think this hotel excellent value.

It was perfect for a first trip to Oahu.

The bathroom was in poor shape. Fans need to pull the moisture out. The sink and bathtub were plugged up for 3 days. Maid service showed up the 7th day of our stay after asking for service 3 days into the 9th day

Location- walking distance to everything we needed. Shops, beach, tours

We asked for a room with a separate shower and was told that we could be accommodated when in actual fact there were no rooms with this facility.

The location was perfect. We traveled with kids big and small and this hotel was very accommodating.

I would have loved to be on a higher level for the beautiful views but everything was awsome. I think the pool should be open longer the jacuzzi was down most the week we were there but they did fill it at the end of our trip. We didnt use it though. Paying for the parking every day ran up quiet a bill. But to be expected.

Location was very good. We could walk to most of the activities we wanted to do. The staff at the hotel were so very nice and would help you with anything you needed.

My room was a little small, but I was staying by myself so no big deal. Bathroom was very small, had to close the door in order to use the toilet! Like I said, I was by myself, but if someone was staying with me it would have been an issue.

The location is very easy to walk into town and to eat at different restaurants and to shop

I did not like the app told us one price and when we got there it was a different price and on top of that we have to pay a different price just to Park in they facility for the day $35 a day. That is ridiculous but I love the location here
