Staff were very helpful. The room had a microwave. Could see the Hilton 8pm Friday night fireworks from our balcony. Asked for a quiet room and got a fairly quiet room overlooking the pool area.

The worst thing about the accomodation was the smell, as soon as we got out of the lift onto our floor we were hit with a very strong smell. At first we thought it was a mouldy, mildewy smell, but we eventually came to realise that the smell was a sewerage smell and can only think this is because of outdated plumbing as the hotel is in serious need of refurbishment as only the reception area has been updated. Our room also had this smell which was unpleasant and we had to leave the balcony doors open most of the time. The pool area was also disappointing as there are very few chairs/lounges and there was very little shade. There is no eatery on site but we knew this before we went. We reported a faulty safe in our room and it was never fixed during our 7 night stay.

The location was absolutely perfect. it was only 1500 feet from the beach. But it was also within walking distance of Waikiki Beech in front of Sheridan and Hula Grill where we swam everyday and enjoyed sitting under the palm trees. it was close to the Hilton Village…walkable, close to many restaurants and all kinds of stores large and small. We ate a superb breakfast twice, just around the corner. also around the corner is the bus stop which will take you to historic Honolulu section, to The Naval Air Museums and the shuttle out to the submerged Arizona, From same bus stop you can get to and from the airport. Cost us seniors 1.25 each for bus ride in any direction. it is close to the Trolly Ride Hop on Hop Off. i absolutely loved our location. Staying in Waikiki was fabulous. Oh yes and there is a pretty park just across the way we’d walk through to get to some places It was good value for our money too. Felt totally safe too. Staff was wonderful. They’ve done some reason remodeling. also really liked that it was only 4 floors. We stayed at the top and to the back so we didn’t get a lot of major street traffic sounds

For me, I liked everything. I can see how some people might have taken pictures of ripped wallpaper here and there and maybe some worn carpet. These don’t bother me. Because for me location is everything.

The front desk personnel were very friendly, professional and efficient. They had beach towels, beach chairs, floaties, and boogie boards that they lent out which I thought was awesome and very accommodating.

Our family had 3 rooms in which none were equipped with a bathtub, the shower was great but I really like a nice bath on vacation. I did not ask ahead of time so partly my fault.

the staff this is where you find Aloha in Honolulu they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! We came off a cruise and they let us check in early at 11:00am !They let our travelling companions store there luggage with us and arranged for a taxi to take them to the airport that evening as they were leaving that night and on the day of departure they stored our luggage in a looked room and arranged our taxi. This hotel is in the perfect location and it has a swimming pool and a kitchenette in the room! Great Stay! We will be back!

In the room it could have used a couple of lounge chairs not really anywhere to just sit and relax Also could use 2 Balcony chairs Also the toilet was a little to close to the wall

I was met by a lovely woman called Honatree ( I think ) sorry if I mis spelled her name, she was wonderful, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable 😊 however the next person I met was Anna she was rude, unkind, condescending, it was the 1st of the month and the alarm went off I was concerned she treated me like an idiot, I asked for food recommendations she said walk out the door there are lots of places, use your eyes. Honatree checked me out and again she was wonderful, helpful and kind. I run a vacation rental business in CA and would employ her in a second. Anna should be fired, she is more concerned with her phone, talking to the young men you employ, sorry but she made me feel unsafe, I was staying with my 4 year old grandson she is a terrible employee 😢

Location is excellent. It is midway between the Trump International and the Ritz Carlton, at a fraction of the price. Easy walking distance to the beach and Fort Russy/ Hale Koa area. It was marvelous to be able to check out beach towels, beach chairs, and even boogie boards from the front desk. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room could have been a little cleaner. We loved having a kitchenette, but we were missing a regular skillet pan (we made scrambled eggs in a saucepan). Rooms are only cleaned after the third day (not a problem for us, but something to be aware of). Electricity went out (seemed like a breaker problem related to our microwave/ toaster oven use) a couple of times one day, although staff worked diligently until it was restored.

The overall locations is a few blocks from the ocean. It was on the main shopping street that goes through Waikiki. The room had a kitchenette that we used but there were very basic utensils provided. It had a stove top, sink and a microwave.

The counter space in the kitchenette was minimal. There were very few places to hang our wet towels and room service was at a minimum. We were not able to check into our room until after the check in time, so we waited in the lobby for quite some time. The balcony was on the busy street side, so there was road noise from the heavily traveled street below.

The staff was extremely pleasant.

The room is a 2 bedroom suite however, the keycard entry only worked on one door suite A and not suite B so we were constantly interrupting the baby and couple in the other room for access to our room. This does not help with privacy. If the 2 bedroom suite had a shared living room and only one entry this would be different, but that is not the case here. Parking can be a bit tricky, but street (metered) parking is free for overnight from 10pm to 6am and if you park around the corner at the Post Office that is the most convenient for day use and makes coming and going easy.
