We booked a Superior Queen Room with Balcony Sea view and it did not disappoint! What a view to wake up to and perfect for enjoying breakfast/watching the evening sunset. Very comfortable bed, large TV (not that we watched it) and a mini fridge that was refilled each morning with complimentary drinks and snacks. The continental breakfast (€19) was plentiful with an express option (€7) available if you're looking for a lighter option. Complimentary cake and fresh lemonade was available in the afternoon - another nice touch. We also made use of the gym which was great for a quick morning workout and enjoyed an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The set 3-course meal (€32) was great value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a welcoming atmosphere. In terms of location, the beautiful old town is a 20-minute stroll away. The hotel has a deal with a private beach (Solenzara) where you can enjoy €5 discount per person. We paid €50 for a double lounger which was a lovely way to soak up the sun in comfort. Carnolès is the closest train station (10-minute walk) with direct links to Monaco (8 mins) and Nice (33 mins) while you can be in Italy within 15 mins and explore Ventimiglia. Antibes and Cannes are also easily reachable in a little over an hour. All in all, a fantastic stay and we'll definitely be back!

no fitness room . nowhere mentioned that a fairly busy road right in front of the hotel between beach and hotel.

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were a bit hesitant because of the “best western” brand reputation in the US. However, we could not have been happier with our stay. The room was SO clean, the AC was great (we had traveled from London where AC was pretty non-existent). They would replenish our mini bar every day which was a welcomed treat. The views from our balcony were great! Every night we would bring home a bottle of wonderful French rosè and the restaurant had no issues on opening it for us and supplying us ice and glasses. Reception was very welcoming and the overall comfort and location was exceptional. We can not wait to return!

Location of hotel right across the beach and overlooking the beautiful Med is stunning. We stayed in a room with balcony, which I highly recommend, if you do not mind the traffic noise from the costal road below. Rooms a bright, cozy and very clean. Beautiful bathroom with shower. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. 20 minute walk along sea side promenade to Old Town. Hotel offers paid parking in front of the hotel, as well as a location near by (150 meters from hotel) Easy street parking available right in front of the hotel as well (paid). Easy access to Monaco via train.

Noisier than expected, due to costal street behind the hotel.

Hotel was immaculate. Very, very clean and tidy. Room was a good size with a fantastic balcany overlooking the sea. Some reviews say the road is noisy, but the sea makes more noise than the road. Bathroom was clean and tidy and housekeeping was excellent. The free coffee and cake was a nice touch throughout the day as was the complimentary mini bar. Menton was a 15-20 min walk down the coast, Carnoles station was 13 min walk the other direction.

The hotel was extremely affordable and right on the beach. If you want to see the amazing Cote d'Azure for an affordable price, look no further. Monaco is right up the road, easily reached in 20 minutes. The rooms are clean and nice, great size. We did not have breakfast.

Parking in front of the hotel was booked, they had an off-site parking lot 5 minutes away. There are not many restaurant options nearby in the off-season. We had to walk about 10 minutes in any direction to find anything worthwhile.

The view was nice overlooking the sea and the mountains. The room was very clean, the staff was very nice, and the complementary mini bar was a nice surprise.

Room initially smelled like smoke as a nonsmoker I am very sensitive to the smell. Although there is no smoking in the room the ash tray suggested that people smoked on the balcony and the smoke still came in the room. However, the staff took action to alleviate the smell pretty much completely.

Elegant and cosy hotel placed on the end of Menton riviera. A very big plus for the reception staff -friendly, problem solving and professional. I was happy to find 2 breakfast options until late. Overall a good accomodation o ption for that area.

The sea view room was extremely small, even for 2 people. Impossible to fit 2 bags and also have room to turn around and keep the clothes in the closet. Is either one or the other. The hotel beach club is not owned by the hotel and the staff there needs serious training and learn maners to accommodate guests. I would never return to that beach.

It's kinda far from the town but you can get bus 18 straight there (but I believe it comes every hour or so). It takes about 20 minutes to walk. Breakfast was ok, it'll just do.

The sea view The palms The balcony The bed The cleanliness. Poor chambermaid had to deal with sand and grit from the beach in the shower. Oh and the fact the lovely little beach is just opposite. So what if it’s not private ? Its the heavenly Med !

Not enough staff after 6pm so although it says 24 hour reception they say they can’t leave the desk - Some might find the road noisy if they open the windows but didn’t bother us - worth having that amazing view and swimming at your feet
