The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The bar area was nice and relaxed. Good location for the airport.

The shuttle can get really busy. On one night I waited 30 minutes at the airport for the shuttle to arrive, but when it did there were too many people trying to get on and I was not able to get a place on the bus. I was cold and tired so didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes for the next one and risk not being able to get on that one either, so ended up paying €45 for a taxi. Really frustrating when there is a free shuttle and I have spent all that time waiting for it. The only other area for improvement would be to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. It is available in the bar for free but it would be nice to have one when you wake up without having to get dressed and go downstairs.

The room was lovely room and the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of hot and cold options, including a lovely selection of fruit. I had to leave before breakfast after my second night, but they gave me a breakfast box to take with me (although make sure you request this in advance).

My only real complaint is that the airport shuttle didn't run as often to the Ibis Styles as it did to the Ibis and the Ibis Budget hotels that were also near the airport. So make sure you check out the shuttle schedule when making your plans, because shuttle only comes once every 40 minutes.

The hotel was very nice! Starting with a free shuttle bus, it all was welcoming. We were totally impressed with the facility decor, the amazing staff, and the amenities provided. There were sitting areas where you could just sit and read, or just relax. The bartender (Italo) was friendly and talkative and we had some great conversations. He also later was our dining room server and his recommendation of the schnitzel topping was spot on! Most delicious!! For a reasonably priced hotel, we loved having a bar and restaurant right there so there was no need to leave the hotel at all. Wonderful!

All was great.

Location was great for a quick overnight stay to catch the flight back to Toronto. The free bus shuttle was great. The hotel itself was very clean, the lobby bathrooms we’re spotless and our room was spacious and had a great shower, which was appreciated when we were on safari and showers were limited or the bathroom cold to take a comfortable shower. We had a nice supper of a couple of appetizers and a pizza which generously served two and had a great crust.

The breakfast. I find in many places in Southern Africa the have a tendency to really undercook the baco. And the automated coffee machine didn’t make the best cup of coffee so I stuck with tea. The water from the machine was just just a bit over lukewarm , so not so great tea.

We made the best choice in picking this hotel for 1 night in Amsterdam. It was clean, great temperature, awesome ambiance in the lobby. And nice dining tables in the dining room. It smelled like good food although we didn’t have time for a sit down dinner. But I would have loved to enjoy a beer and some food. It was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Shuttle service was impeccable (bus with designated storage for luggage). The hotel messaged me the shuttle schedule so I knew what to expect and where to go as I came out of the airport. There is a bus station 250 meters away (we took the bus when we came back to the hotel late at night from the airport after a visit in the city, because the bus came right when we arrived at the bus stop, which was right next to the hotel shuttle stop). They have coffee and hot water in the lobby at all time. They have a small shop with sandwiches and snacks if you don’t have time for breakfast. Everything was perfect. So I’m not going anywhere else next time I’ll be in transit in Amsterdam for a night or two 😊

Nothing, really.

Good location with great shuttle service to airport; I was easily able to travel to Amsterdam via train or bus from the airport. My accessible room was quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom setup was good; the bath chair provided was great. However, the chair was too small for me & couldn't support me.The staff listened to my feedback about the chair politely and stated they would pass on my suggestions.

Some of the shuttle buses need to repair the ramp for accessibility. I can not comment on breakfast as I did not purchase this meal. The shower area had no grab bars.

Free shuttle service though it's always full, breakfast was quite good, staff were very friendly, Rooms were not big but good enough. Free coffee in the lobby. This hotel is good for people who need to catch a flight on the following day. Free WIFI was good. I liked the mint on the reception.

Shuttle service got disrupted on 19th May, we were informed last minute. Our fellow hotel guest took us to the airport. Ibis style (Green) is the last stop, it goes to other 2 hotels of Ibis (Red & Blue). Approximately it takes 15 to 20 minutes to and from airport so you can plan accordingly in order to avoid no show on the flight. Other than that there were no issues.

Lovely room, close enough to the airport, the shuttle bus was a bit late and it brings you to all other IBIS franchises until you get to yours. Apart from that The hotel is nice and clean, the decoration is cool, and the staff is excellent. I'd only suggest leaving at least one bottle of water for the guests as this is the last thing they want to search for in between long-haul flights.

Shuttle bus travel times, I thought it would be faster, there is a waiting time between hotels. Not sure if the staff were on their break time or if 11 pm is considered a peak hour.

It's very convenient, great service and location. I'm going to stay at this hotel everytime I have a early flight from now on. The room was bigger than expected, shower was big as well! Great value for your money.

The shuttle was a little bit confusing (could be just me), but I didn't realise there were different chains of ibis, and I accidentally got of the shuttle at the first ibis instead of ibis style. This is more of a pro than a con: but the shuttle taking us to the airport starts at our hotel (or chain) and by the time it picked the other people form the other ibis it got so crowded.

Shuttle was packed- could have them running more frequently. I would’ve like to know ahead of time that there are actually three hotels with the same name and I wasn’t sure which one we were staying at. We originally got dropped off at the wrong hotel and then had to wait for another shuttle to go to the affiliate hotel. You could be more clear on the booking which Ibis hotel you have actually booked. ( green, red, or blue)
