The staff are warm hearted, so helpful. We couldn’t get contact with our next day’s hotel, couldn’t find the suitable transportation, they gave us a lot of help. Facilities are good as this price, food is okay, good value

Some machine noise in the night

Nice that it has a restaurant and the most sweet girl works there! Good views over the ocean and okay rooms! Also very easy to make friends :)

The reception told us no buses go on Sunday so we would book an expensive taxi to the coral coast. The reality is that buses do go.. I don't like that they want to make money and not tell us the correct info. Also a guy at the restaurant told my friend she could throw her sigaret on the beach instead of giving her an ashtray... Not okay! Also too much plastic in the restaurant.

The a/c was actually cold in the room, the bathroom is inside the dorm room, true beach front, friendly staff, in house ATM

The internet is not good

Amazing location to get from the airport, and onto the port for island transfers. The food is great, it's clean and right on the beach. Joane is an absolute star! She helped us book all of our ferries for Island hopping and worked out the cheapest way to travel etc, advised me about local markets, and when I accidentally left my bank cards and keys in the hotel, she had someone bring them to the airport for me before I flew home to London! She is such a credit to the hotel! We stayed here before and after Island hopping and she was just so lovely - thanks so much for a lovely stay! If you're looking for somewhere lovely and friendly to stay before or after your Island hopping, this is the place! Ella and Jo x

Wasn't sure what to expect as it had been 11 years since i had been to Wailoaloa beach. To get away from the resorts of Denarau and chill for a couple of days was amazing. Supermarket at the end of the street, everything you need including beer and wine and spirit if you want to pay, bar menu restaurants all the way along the "strip". Gorgeous dogs that belong to who knows. Water shoes would be a good addition to your packing as this is rural fiji and lots of "stuff along the beach walk" Smugglers cleans and rakes its beach each morning. It is a shallow bay so you will not have yellow sand a blue green water, however the water is an amazing temp if you decide to go in and if you venture out you will get past the turning sand at the water front. But hey its FIJI. FOH staff were great and nothing was a problem.

ITS FIJI whats not to like. personally more water bowls with fresh water for the local dogs would be excellent. we were told the dogs knew where the water bowls were but we never saw a single one. We had a gorgeous dog drinking from our cupped hands, so i do feel that this would be a great addition to Smugglers Cove. Concrete bowls so they dont become more rubbish.

Location is great, and the common area (dining hall, beachfront bar and restaurant, pool) is beautiful, very well maintained. The room condition was not that great but definitely good value for the money. Compared to other hotels I stayed around Fiji, staff service is mediocre.

The AC in the dorm room was not reliable, it was on but power was off for a long time so it did not work for a long time. The room is crazy hot without the AC on. There were quite a bit of coachroaches crawling around bathroom / shower area. The room smells bad and very dark due to having no windows and packed with people in it.

We stayed at two different places in Fiji. This was our favorite. Close to the airport. Airport shuttle arranged through Smugglers Cove helped because we had never been to Fiji before to know how ground transport worked. We had some time before our room was ready and hotel staff helped us connect to a taxi drive to show us around for a few hours. We saw sights and had good conversation. Restaurant onsite was convenient. Great chairs on the beach. Fire dancing show on Sunday night when we were there. Walkable to a small grocery store and a few other restaurants. Room was small but adequate. If you don't use their shuttle, be sure to have some Fiji $. Cabs don't take credit cards.

This was my own fault, but I sat in a beach chair that happened to be a shady spot for one of the many stray dogs in the area. I ended up with some flea bites that lasted about a week. I should have picked a different chair or "shooed him" out.

Comfortable room, nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom had all the necessary amenities and a nice shower. Location is on a beautfiul sand beach.

The restaurant food was good, but on several different occasions, we waited an extremely long time to get our food. They seem to not have enough chefs in the kitchen. Be advised that if you eat at the restaurant, allow plenty of time. Don't eat there is you have a time deadline!!

Staff are super helpful and kind, showering our 11 month old daughter Lily with love and attention whenever she entered the room. Rae on the tour desk can arrange any excursion and is very competent. The location isn't far from downtown Nadi or Port denaura, and you can catch public transport a two minute walk away or catch a taxi at the door. Food is well priced and delicious. They have events on regularly and this hotel is the place to be on any given night. The room is spacious clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable as well! The sunset from this hotel is breathtaking. The pool is great for a dip on a warm day. We would stay here again.

The room is clean and organized, The staffs Joana, Di, Amos, Ben, they was very friendly. Peaceful place to relax front of the hotel. Female room and mix room are good, but personally I preferred mix room because is more private. Bring your mosquito repellent as there are a lot of mosquitoes outside at night. There is a supermarket at the beginning of the street, 3 minutes walk away. If you want cheap food, go to the hotel next door. Walk 4 minutes on the beach until Beach Club Bar for enjoy live music at night.

The bathroom of the mix room would be more cleaner. I think the whole region has a lot of cockroaches, I stayed in 4 hotels and they all had cockroaches in the bathroom they are not big they are very small.
