It’s a beautiful apartment extremely well located and with many perks. Bob W really does a great job

The service was poor. There is a code necessary to enter the building and no email was ever sent to me providing it. Happily someone was online and picked up the phone when I called asking. Also, the receptionist at the concierge was never present and we had issues picking up our luggage we had dropped there, as she didn’t want to work her hours and leave earlier.

Location and concept was perfection. I stayed in Helsinki Glory and it was beyond beautiful! Online customer service was new yet on point (they do have a staff at certain time in the hotel), they would answer your question even in the late evening, and send you a text every night during your stay to make sure you’re having a great one. The room came with sauna and for my family who were visiting Helsinki, it was so convenient that we could enjoy it anytime we wanted without hustling to book or go to spa. Loved it loved it loved it!

Modern, clean,great sized apartment and well equipped. Bed was comfortable, bathroom a good size. Great to have a washer/dryer while travelling! Good location with a tram stop right outside. Supermarket downstairs was great, so handy. Pizzeria also downstairs was delicious. Easy, clear instructions for self check in and good communication during stay if needed.

Only dislike was the glass ‘cage’ around the bed. Made it awkward and cramped to get in and out of and no space for a bedside table.

The BEST hotel we've stayed at in Europe! The hotel is located right by the tram stop (literally, you will see the hotel as soon as you step out of the tram), and there is a 24/7 supermarket downstairs. The hotel includes a fridge, kitchen, TV with Netflix, and a nice wardrobe. They even gave us free Polaroid film and provided a Polaroid camera in the room! That made our trip to Helsinki extra special. We fully utilized the washing machine, and they even provided detergent. The toilet was also great! Though there is no on-site reception, they responded quickly and efficiently via WhatsApp to answer all our questions. Tho the location is not right in the town, but it is well connected by the tram which operates from early morning to late night and we din mind the location at all! LOVE IT !

The location of Bob W Koti Katajanokka in Helsinki provides the ideal base to explore the city on foot and make use of the excellent public transport to go further. Easy to reach from the airport or by boat, Bob W Koti Katajanokka delivers on the expectations of ease and comfort. Having an apartment that feels like a hybrid between a private property and hotel opens your options. We made use of the kitchen and comfotable room but knew we were ideally recharged to explore Helsinki at our own pace with all ammentities near by when we returned to Bow W. Communication was proactive and very friendly. Will explore other Bob W locations as future considerations after this first experience.

This was hands down one of the best accommodations I've stayed at in Europe!! Had everything we could possibly need - a comfy bed, laundry detergent, towels, shower gels, shampoo, pots, pans, dishes, kitchen utensils, coffee, tea bags, free chocolate, an eco bag, and so much more. The location was perfect, with a tram stop just 1 min away and a 24hr supermarket nearby, just beyond my expectations! The contactless check-in and check-out process was seamless, and having a concierge available during specific hours was a nice one as we stored our luggage until we check-in. We opted for a unit with a sauna, and it was absolutely amazing!!! I also found whatsapp reminders for check-in and updates during our stay were super helpful. Much thanks to Bob W - you guys are awesome!

Nothing about the facility and service. The apartment we were assigned was next to the street where tram goes so heard some noise when tram passes but it wasn't a big deal for us.

Was not sent the code to book in prior so had to fill in all details once we arrived at property before we could get into our rooms. This was despite me trying to contact them via this site 24 hrs previously. They took over 48hrs to get back to me and by this time I was able to contact them via what’s app. This should have been made clear to me prior that this was their form of communication. This caused unnecessary delays and stress when checking in should have been seamless. Included breakfast was only with one cafe and empanada for 5 days was not what was expected.

great location and a lovely habitation. was comfy but was a bit cold for us problem solved by a portable heater. first one very small and no temperature setting. thank you concierge for getting us a!better model with a temperature setting. we were 2 people and there for two weeks. only places to sit was bed, kitchen area and only one other comfy chair. again it took a few days to solve as another comfy was not immediately available but there was one just sitting empty near reception on our floor. again our hotel concierge was able to solve the problem and get us another comfy chair. perhaps might be a good idea to put two people in a room with two comfy chairs or a couch for sitting!!!

the rooftop bar was never open to those of us staying in hotel for a drink. lots of private event's...maybe in 14 nights it was available once. plus we bever found the sauna!!!

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a lot of amenities available for guests to take advantage of both in room and within the local vicinity of the property. Well located, and easy to either walk or use the tram available at the front door. A fw nice touches were the coffee, tea options as well as the local info provided on the cork board in the room, along with the stickers and tote bag for guests to use and keep. As someone in the travel industry I was very happy with my stay at the Bob W Katajanokka!

The ability to open windows in the apartment. We found the building temp quite warm overall (at 21 degrees), and as we were unable to adjust the temp down in room, being able to open windows for some fresh air would have been appreciated. (Coming from Australia we aren't used to quite the level of insulation used in Europe!) I did reach out to Bob W to query this and was told it was not possible to open the windows, however we did locate a window key to open the room in a bathroom drawer on the morning of our departure so it was possible to accommodate had this been known. The only other quibble was the bathroom drains were a little on the nose and musty through our entire stay. Perhaps a drain cleaning agent being made available or similar would solve this issue for future guests ?

The bathroom set up was fantastic. It was clear that in all the elements the BOB W team thinks through the design including light options - which were well marked. It was one of the best places I have stayed in terms of set up. I love the small but efficient kitchen. The bed had the best pillows I have slept on.I even tried to figure out the brand and model of the pillows.

My one meh moment is the in-room chair was not comfortable. The dining table chairs were,The other drawback as a tea not coffee drinker, three tea bags is about one day for me of a three night stay. As a note, the tram is right outside the building - Fantastic! but that tram stop doesn't have a machine to purchase a ticket - not so great. As of Dec 2024, you cannot tap with your phone to buy your ticket on the tram. You can tap at a machine in downtown to get a timed paper ticket, but not on the tram itself.
