Amazing location just a short walk from the train station and right in the centre of shops and restaurants. Another short walk to the ferry to take the trip to suomenlinna fortress. We were a family of 5 and we stayed in the large room and there was plenty of room for us (ages 9,7 and 2). The staff were super friendly and more than happy to help. The breakfast was lovely. Just to note for Irish people and possible British people when they say breakfast finishes at 10 they mean they close the doors and you have to leave, it’s not that they stop serving at 10 and you can finish. That’s not a criticism just a difference between how things work.

Very hip hotel, great staff, good bar and food

Having specifically researched that the hotel had a lift, once I got to my floor I had to go down 10 stairs with heavy suitcase. That many stairs should have been noted when booking and checking in. Also, my room was one of two in a little vestibule with very heavy doors. Every time my neighbour went in our out there was the noise of their door slamming and the vestibule door slamming. As it’s a small enclosed space this also meant the pressure vibration was pretty solid too. Especially not nice if they come in in the middle of the night.

This is a lovely, quirky hotel right in the centre and within easy walking distance to the train station, to the South Harbour and to many of the sights. The staff team is young and very friendly. Despite the young and lively image of the hotel, I felt very comfortable as a somewhat more mature person, and found that there was a nice mix of guests. There's a sizeable but cosy bar downstairs (thankfully, no loud music while I was there) which also serves delicious food in the evenings - very convenient for tired solo travellers! I had booked a sleeper room, which was perfect for my requirements, with a stylish bathroom and a very comfortable bed - and it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a range of delicious choices.

A kettle in the room would have been wonderful, but this is not a complaint - you just tend to get used to it...

Fantastic location and a very cute and trendy hotel! The breakfast was phenomenal- definitely make sure you get it. We were recommended this hotel by a friend that is a Finnish local specifically for the breakfast and it did not disappoint. The staff were lovely and even gave us an upgrade because we were visiting over our birthdays - which was a very kind touch that made everything feel even more wonderful. The location is great and the city has so much to offer. After staying and seeing how great the hotel was, we thought the value for money is something you really couldn’t beat. If you are coming to the city I could not recommend this stay more.

I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were always ready with a smile and helpful suggestions. The location was also perfect for exploring the city.

During my recent stay, I noticed the absence of complimentary mineral water in the room. While this is a minor detail, I would like to suggest the installation of a water dispenser in the corridor for guests' convenience. This would be an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way to provide guests with easy access to drinking water.

Amazing location, great vibes, enjoyed the coworking space (good wifi, not too busy at all) overlooking the main street, room was nice and comfy. Loved loved loved the food, thanks to the kitchen team — the food was amazing, lots of options, really well cooked and delicious, and special kudos for the fermented veggies!

We struggled to adjust the temperature in the room, and the window couldn’t be opened sadly (having some fresh air for better sleep would be nice). The bathroom design wasn’t my cup of tea, but that’s just a personal preference

- As central a location as it gets, right next to Kamp hotel and gallery. - Others might put this in the negative column but I actually liked their "modern" stance whereby the default position is that your room won't be cleaned everyday unless you specifically ask for it. Let's face it, no one needs their room cleaned during 2-3 night stays. - The hotel is fairly new so everything is still very fresh (Dec 2024), bathroom shower very good. - The breakfast is very good and although (see below)

- For a 4 star hotel the standard rooms are quite bare; no minibars, no security deposits, no tissues in the bathroom etc. Not an issue for me but might be for some. - The breakfast area appears big enough with plenty of seats the food station can get a bit crowded and you have to wait a fair bit before getting what you fancy. Small issue only.

Well this hotel was a real surprise for me.I suddenly had to stay for an extra night in Helsinki due to a change of plans and I booked a simple, as I thought ,sleep room there.However, I found myself in an amazing room, fully equipped, with two bathrooms, all the necessities, very clean, warm and quiet.It is also right in the city centre, nearby to literally everything.The price is absolutely reasonable and the staff at the reception were incredibly polite and friendly and also kind to let me know what the hotel has to offer.Also, the breakfast was a huge surprise.It was really delicious.

Fantastic fusion style from 60s-70s, functional spaces, we explored the entire concept including the restaurant and lovely common spaces. Staff were superb and friendly. Restaurant food of excellent quality, so fresh and tasty. Location could not have been any better. Dogs were accommodated with great care and expertise. Thank you so much for this experience.

There were no shelves in our room to put any of our belongings (no wardrobe, drawers, and bedside table was a chair, so nothing can be stored in it). Only a tiny coat hanger in the narrow entrance which were enough for 2 warm jackets; therefore room became messy every time we changed clothes or unpacked bags. More space for guests things is needed, so that the huge panoramic window ledge for example can remain a pretty part of the room and not a pile of things. No but otherwise it is an absolutely fantastic place where we will return.

Everytime I go to Helsinki, I stay in the same hotel. The name of this hotel was "GLO Hotel Kluuvi", now changed to "Hobo Hotel Helsinki" and the decoration is also different. 1, Spacious room and very clean 2, Very good location. walk distance to the central train station 3, Very good breakfast

1, no waterboilder nor mugs at room. But I borrowed one from reception 2, there is a big pillar in the middle of my room, I guess that is a load bearing wall 3, Breakfast is not as good as before. For example, salmon existed before but disappeared now.
