There was lots of choice for breakfast e.g. cheeses, hams, juices including gluten free breads, muesli and sweet treats. The hotel was quiet and private off street entrance. It was 10 minute walk to train station and about 5 -7 minutes to get a tram. Plenty of restaurant choices nearby and a supermarket. Clean drinking water available. The room was cleaned every day. The receptionists and all staff were all helpful and courteous.

There was no boiling water for tea in breakfast area but there was a kettle available in room. The room was warm but could not seem to regulate to lower the temperature at night if it got too warm. The room was small but it was what I expected

The location was perfect, very central and we could walk all over the city by foot. It was also very close to public transport. We loved the breakfast, it had everything we could ever need. The room was big enough for two people, it even had a small couch. We were very happy with our stay.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we had to leave our room key at the reception every time we went out and we felt kind of unsafe that anyone could go and ask for it pretending to be us. Nothing bad happened though, it was a very pleasant experience over all.

The staff are remarkable - went out of their way to help track down a lost bag, and then facilitated shipping it to the U.S. after a woman who found it on the street returned it to the hotel fully intact! The breakfast is full, garden patio is an oasis away from the street, and rooms are comfortable. The location is 1 block from an promenade lined with trees, vendors, families, a tram stop and only 3 blocks from the harbor.

Shower was designed to leak water onto the bathroom floor but a relatively minor amount.

Centrally located: 5-min to Esplanadi; 10-min to Central Station;12-min to Kamppi Quiet: Away from main roads. Clean and tidy room and bathroom; bed comfortable. Next to S-market, cafes and restaurants nearby. Good breakfast.

The disproportional big sofa occupies too much space, squeezing the desk to a corner. No socket by the bedside - all across the room near the desk Tiny opening to the shower area; and water flowed out. Need to close the blind at all time; no additional layer of shade.

one may say that some rooms and corridors require slight renovation, but I’d say they look lovely with some wear and tear

The hotel is well situated near the main shopping and tourist areas. The lobby area is interesting, the breakfast is good and you get a discount voucher for drinks at the hotel bar. The staff are very friendly and it is great value for money.

It is a little old and tired in places. The heating in the room wasn’t easily adjustable so it was a little warm for sleeping.

Location is good for access to restaurants and the harbor without associated noise. Staff is excellent, helped in many ways and were amazing to help locate a missing bag from taxi delivery. There is also a perfect outdoor sitting area for snacks and drinks, separated from the street so it stays quiet.

No bathtub in our room and the room is a little dated - minor issues for us. The beds were separated singles which makes the room look smaller.

Excellent location, easy access to shops and restaurants in the city center, you can walk everywhere from this hotel. I like Rivoli Jardin and have stayed there before. I had to leave early in the morning to the airport and they kindly offered to make me a sandwich to take-away as it was too early for a sit down breakfast and I really appreciated that gesture. There is a homely feeling, which I like plus guests can leave or take books from the small book shelf close to the reception area, which is a very nice touch.

The hotel interior is starting to show a bit of wear-and-tear. They still use keys instead of key cards (at least that was the case with my room) and the lock in my room was tricky to open. The overall colouring of the hotel is dark, which makes everything a bit heavy looking. This hotel is meant to be a boutique style of place and I think it succeeds in that, but it's probably in need of some renovation and maintanence work in the next couple of years.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. There was tv, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee, hairdryer in the room. Room was lovely and warm. Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is central for everywhere and I would highly recommend it.

Everything was great from arrival to departure.

We arrived at 00:30 and the staff were very accommodating. It was an easy walk from the airport bus but also we were able to park our car once we picked it up. Excellent variety at breakfast. Big comfortable room.

The room was a bit warm and we couldn’t control the temperature ourselves but that is very minor and the only negative to a great stay.
