Excellent location for us -close to where our family live. Excellent views. Excellent breakfasts and relaxed attractive breakfast room. Helpful staff. Lovely places to sit -attractive grounds and close to the sea. Good TV.

Ants in room -quite large ones. Expensive evening meal -slow service despite few people -small portions and not much choice -fortunately we ate mostly with family living nearby. Superior room good size but slightly tired marked lamp shade and walls -looked like in need of redecoration -shower small with screens pulled in -perhaps do away with screens as it is a wet room? Bath room toiletries looked old and like they had been left behind by someone else. Minimal room cleaning but bed made nicely.

It's a great location right by the sea. You can go for walks in the forrest or have a bit of both forrest and seaside walks. Facilities are perfect to read books, and unwind (hammocks etc.) Getting into Helsinki town takes about 20 mins by taxi // 50 mins by public transport (walk to underground station approximately 20 minutes). Design of the hotel is really great and special. Breakfast was great too.

A little disappointed by the sauna. It is very, very simple and not very comfortable / tiny. Seems old as well and smelly. Women are only allowed from 7:30 - 8:30 am, and 5-7pm (men get the by far better times). Given there is a sauna culture in Finland, I was surprised about the lack of accessibility and design of the area. Reception closes early in the pm (9pm on some days, even in summer), so if you forgot your door code or lost your room card, you are not in a great position

Sauna is really the best in Rantapuisto. Despite of being rather big, it gives soft and convenient steam. Overall Rantapuisto is very convenient hotel to stay, I've been visiting here over a decade.

The check-in wasn't successful at all. I was confirmed late arrival by reception, however on arrival there wasn't key for the room. I had checked in through electronic booking and obviously the functionality of it doesn't have late arrival option, which would leave the key to the night box. So if you arrive outside opening hours, make sure you have the key available!

It was our friends Janita and Roy wedding reception place . We stay in this hotel because of the wedding. It was a very pleasant stay. Great time and very beautiful and peaceful location. Is still in Helsinki but almost outside of the city . You fell like in the middle of the forest and we pay extra for the sea view which is a great bonus and everyone should do it if the can . Pleasant stay but we couldn’t use unfortunately sauna, bike service and the fitness centre because we come for the wedding and that was our main reason. I wish we could stay for at least a few days to be able to explore around more.

This hotel is a bit old fashion for our taste . Room was clean with comfy bed, great size but bathroom was horrible very old . Bathroom need upgrade big time 😅😅

This hotel is like an old grandmother. But not the cranky, sour smelling one who snaps at everyone, but the soft and lovely old lady whose face is crinkled but smiling. Her house may be old, the furniture worn and well used but sparkling clean. When you stay at her place, she makes you a hot chocolate and wraps you up in fluffy blankets, and you fall asleep feeling loved and comfortable. I love the hotel and the view from the sea wing is unbeatable!

I'm not going to criticize my granny! :)

- very good breakfast, the breakfast room is vast and has a beautiful view on the sea and trees, we liked also the music that was played there - some relaxing covers - fantastic view from the window: the sea and trees. we admired the sunset - it was amazing - comfortable beds - the quiet area and beautiful nature around

- the sauna was open for ladies in hours 17-19 and for men 19-21. I could understand why: the showers have no partition walls and are quite close to each other. Actually, I was there alone and t was a pity that we could not come together with my husband. We had to arrange that we come back till 18 to the hotel, so that I can take my sauna. Then he went to sauna and was also alone. To be alone in this sauna was kind of creepy. There are 3 rooms there: one in retro style for resting, one for changing clothes and the next with 4 showers and the sauna entrance. The sauna itself was very good. Probably the sauna hours for men and women is the most optimal solution, taking into account the facility and the environmental issues.

Location and surroundings are marvellous for peacuful leisure by the seaside. Hotel's original 1960s Finnish architecture and design in the lobby areas and restaurant have been preserved wonderfully. Some patina is acceptable because everything is genuine vintage. The terrasses and green areas were well maintained and tidy. The view from the sea wing's large windows through pine forrest to the sea is breath taking.

The furnishing in the room does not match the public areas. It is common and suffers from being outdated.

Very comfortable mattress and two pillows (a small and a big one). Excellent varied breakfast. Very cosy atmosphere. Welcoming staff who try to do their best for your comfort. Shelves in the bathroom and authentic cosmetics. Restaurant and sauna on the territory. Sea view from our room. You can feel yourself relaxed becuase the hotel is surrounded by nature.

The building and the furniture is rather old. There is no fridge in the room (but there is one in the corridor). There are no water coolers in the corridors (but there is water on the reception). Very small shower cabin. For me the biggest minus was that there was no cleaning during the weekends (an no door sign for cleaning). It was very unpleasant to see the full trash buckets in the room and no toilet paper. Also the location is not comfortable if you travel without car (the nearest bus stop is right near the hotel, but this bus goes only on weekdays and only once per hour. The other bus stop is about 15 min walk from the hotel. The nearest metro station is about 25 min walk).

Great location from Baltic sea. Although the hotel was in Helsinki but it was so quiet and calm by Baltic sea. (during day, it was construction...). I like the building and interior design, the vibe was totally Finnish. Great Breakfast! I will definitely return to the hotel.

Less staff, so I had to wait when I checked in/out. The receptionist was a little rude when I asked about the facility and the breakfast at the check-in.

The location was very beautiful and it was totally worth travelling from Helsinki. Perfect location for people who want some peace and nature. Breakfast was excellent. Options for vegans were available and there was a lot of space in the dining room. We stayed in a double room with a beautiful seaview unfortunately only for one night. It was very clean and organic products were available for showering. Bed was very comfortable and everything was superclean. We also had dinner at their Restaurant "Furu" which was a bit pricy but food was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this place and I will definitely come back in the future.
