Self check-in was quite convenient. I entered a warm, cozy room with all the necessary comforts. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable, the perfect firmness for me. The public spaces were quiet, rooms were well insulated. The bathroom was modern and kept very clean. I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

I walked from the bus stop and took a while to find the entrance of the building... There was construction going on in the intersection and I followed google maps which was not a good idea. It was also snowing/raining so made things extra difficult. Tip: If walking from the bus stop from the airport, once you arrive to the intersection, there is a large covered walkway that goes across the road. Take that walkway and you arrive directly in front of the building. The entrance is next to the indian restaurant and the sign is quite small (I wish I had known this before!)

Location of the hostel was great. It was hard to find at first but once there, it was very easy to walk into the centre of Helsinki. Staff weren't on site but came when I had a request and that was really appreciated! Room was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Overall, would recommend as great value for money.

I would update the pillows as they weren't very comfortable and put in shorter curtains as they kept getting stuck in the side of the bed. The rooms weren't that soundproofed either so I was kept awake by a party elsewhere in the building. Definitely not a place to get good sleep.

The hostel is located near the shore and the city center. The facilities are decent, and the rooms are clean with adequate acoustics. Additionally, the staff is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The inclusion of kettles and coffee machines in the rooms is a great touch.

The architecture of the building is quite uninteresting, featuring concrete and an overall grayness. There were construction works outside, so the view from the window was not optimal. Rooms are accessed by keys which makes it a bit less flexible for few guests in a room.

At first it was hard to find location, maybe a picture of the building and a picture of the ramp leading to the Hotel building.Tourist Inn is inside. Also clear instructions maybe a day or so prior to arrival on what is expected to happen. For example: at door a on code is required. It is the first time I had encountered this on my Europe travels. The road works also made it hard to find and led you under the building to the car park, thankfully a friendly local navigated me to where I was suppose to be.

The hostel was so clean. It was self-check in system. When we arrived there a little earlier before check-in to leave our bags, we found that there was nobody there at the reception. We did not know how to manage our bags and sent a message to a manager. The manager showed up soon and let us enter our room earlier. The room had a table and electric kettle.

The roads around the building was under contruction. We had some difficulty finding the entrance of the building and elevator(lift). So we had to move our bags taking stairs. If you have suitcases and use public transportation, it would be better if you get off a tram at Hakaniemi rather than Haapaniemi. Hakaniemi station leads you to a pedestrian overpass which finally takes you to the entrance of the building directly.

I was a solo traveller and I really enjoyed this Hostel! The room was clean and cozy, there is also a mini-kitchen, a washing-machine and an hairdryer! Even though there are shared bathrooms, they are all very clean! The position is amazing! Just a 20-minute walk from the train station and the city center, and a 40-minute bus ride from the airport! There is also a grocery store in the opposite building! Unfortunately, I only spent a night there, but if I ever came back, I would definitely choose this hostel again!

Nice, warm and cozy room with most of the convenient things such as fridge and kettle in the room, a few dishes and cutlery, also small dinning table and a big shelf with hangers for storage. There is also a shared hairdryer and microwave in common premises, which can be used any time. Finally, there common space is very nice and cozy, and the hostel is located on the 9th floor, which is really amazing.

Everything was fine, just for an extra convenience would be nice to have a tea towel for doing dishes :)

What I like most is the location of the hotel. It is close to most places within the city. Did not have to walk for long before getting to shopping centers and restaurants.

The smallness of the room and the sharing of toilets and bathrooms. Though there was never a time these places were fully occupied during my stay, I would have loved a situation where I do not have to leave my room in order to make use of the bathroom or the toilet even though they are shared.

Incredibly convenient to arrive from the airport- catch bus 600 and walk for 10mins. Very clean and good shower (both temperature & pressure). Stressfree stay, close to town at a good price for Helsinki. Wi-fi strong & quick.

The walls were a little thin so could hear noise from other rooms (not partying, just converaations). This noise couldn't be heard in the corridors though and everything did quieten before midnight. The ticking clock in the room could be reconsidered - we took the battery out overnight.

It was clean. Though small, the room was equipped with 2 comfortable single beds, wall mounted TV, table with 2 chairs, clothing storage, kettle, coffee machine, plates, cups, bath towels. We had enough room for our carry-on suitcases. The shared bathrooms had good shower pressure and were clean. Complimentary tea, shampoo/shower gel. Wifi.

There’s a lot of construction around the building at the moment. Not easy to find the entrance especially when you arrive at night.
