The hotel and its staff are both extremely amazing and we are very pleased. The suites are massive with great views and an amazing sauna. The area around is quieter than other areas and you feel somewhat private.

Small things could have been added that would have made it even more than exceptional. Even though we know there are covid restrictions and we are forced to order or takeaway food. At least put a microwave in the room so we can heat up the food or anything else. Also the restaurant for dinner did not provide many options, forcing us to just order from the very few restaurants available.

The aurora suites are amazing! they are spacious and have great large windows that kept us connected to the beautiful surroundings. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They sure did their best to make our stay as delightful as it was.

breakfast buffet was nice but would be nicer to have a menu as well and maybe a restaurant for dinner since there is already a nice dinning place. Since most visitors come to try arctic activities it would be a good opportunity for the hotel to organize scheduled activities, the staff were really helpful at recommending things to do, but it makes it easier if the hotel offered some of the main activities (aurora hunting, campfire near the hotel, nature walk/hiking map..etc)

Excellent breakfast room and breakfast. Office should be open for longer in my opinion, had trouble looking for locker as did not realize it was part of post and smaller than I had thought it would be - but that is my fault. Rooms are cheaper for longer stays. Person at desk in the morning was very friendly and helpful. Grounds probably look very nice in snow.

I overlooked another hotel maybe 50m away but big windows had plenty of sky, really impressed with the compact layout (not small just fitted very well) and yet spacious design. Some might not like half logs as seats but I liked it. Some might find the walk from the bus a little confusing but once you have walked it once it is fine. Santa Claus village very empty and not many restaurants in area (there is one, three elves or something and a diner, but really a no extras truckstop like diner). NB despite photo on webpage I'd be surprised if you get much/any northern lights here as there is some light (pollution) from nearby hotels and it is not very elevated.

Excellent room condition. Although we stayed in Autumn, it was still beautiful. I wish I can come back in winter. The staff at reception was extremely kind and showed the way to our room. Our room was SO clean - which we care a lot when we travel. The large window in the upstairs makes the view even more fascinating. The breakfast buffet was also wonderful.

There was a scam from the hotel - BUT it turned out the account was hacked. It's NOT hotel's fault, but just remind anyone who may be expose card number like me to the suspicious link... (I was silly - but sorted out quickly) We found a blueberry cheese cake gone bad - not ate it though. Checking the food condition regularly may be good idea.

Everything exceeded our expectations! We were 4 people in one Aurora suite, it is more than spacious, two bathrooms, sauna, spotless clean,and we were so lucky to catch the Aurora in our single night stay! the suite has windows facing north and south so we could see Aurora staying at the window with a nice cup of hot tea!

Fantastic room, large, clean, comfortable, excellent sauna room to enjoy!

Overall, the hotel was very nice and comfortable. We had a cottage with a sauna, kitchen as well as fire place - all you need for a lazy evening. After a freezy day outside, you come to a nice place, relax at a fire place or in the sauna and make a little meal if necessary (and it was necessary for two days as corona rules required restaurants to stay closed and were allowed to open the third day). The breakfast was recommended often by other users. It is actually good and warm meals as well as bread selection usually changed daily. One day, we had an early tour booked and asked for breakfast boxes and the hotel provided a very nice and large selection for us. The evening restaurant was very good as well. As often, wine is very expensive for the bottle we selected. Also, in the evening it is nice and quite. The christmas village is empty and it is actually beautiful to have the arctic circle with its nice illumination all alone for yourself. If you have a car, you are just 10min away from the city.

We travelled as family with two kids. The kids will sleep on sofa beds which is actually OK - but the sofa beds are bad. The lower part of the bed (where you place your hips and legs) is about 5cm below the upper part. So, you have a break in the middle of he bed and no mechanism to level out this gap. We helped ourselves by placing some bathrobes below the mattress. Second - the fridge does not have a freezing compartment. Not a big deal in winter time - we just put the stuff on the terrace as it was mostly -15 degree celcius (or colder). But when it is warmer you should be prepare when buying food. Third point - all regular surfaces had been clean. But not the top of the wardrobe. When you go upstairs you can look at the top of the wardrobe and see a layer of dust.

Great spacious accommodation built with style. Design interior where even the paintings were perfectly on point. Great use of wood and other textures. Would have been happy to stay here few more nights. Helpful staff. Hope that the place will make it through the pandemic.

Small confusion about our arrival time but 15 min wait didn’t bother too much. Next time would call beforehand.

We stayed in a Nordic Cottage, which we loved. It was very spacious, had beautiful high ceilings, a cozy fireplace and its own sauna. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food quality was very good. One out of 4 hotels we stayed at in Finland, having a proper espresso machine (included in the buffet breakfast). We missed the gym/fitness, but it's generally applicable for most accommodations I looked at in Lapland.

It is very close to Santa's Village, so depending on the scope of the visit, if you're looking for more wilderness, it can feel too close to the commercial area.

The aurora suite was such a beautiful (big) room: very clean, very spacious, very new. Eyes for detail. Really would love to come back. The wonderful welcome note in the room with my name on it - was really special. Keep up the amazing work.

Nothing: it was all good. The only thing is that the busses are not very reliable. So I prefer booking a taxi at the reception if you want to go on a hike/ to the city/ aurora hunt.
