We chose this accommodation after we had searched for suitable family accommodation with a good location to visit Santa Village. We knew from our research that the main Santasport Accommodation was an Olympic training ground and also a community facility so we were aware before travelling that there would be athletes and local people around. We chose this accommodation based on the facilities that are offered for children and because of the reviews for cleanliness and comfort left by other reviewers. On the first night we stayed at the on-site apartments which are just perfect, very quiet after a long day travelling, every item you could need was there and the beds were so comfortable. On our second, third and fourth nights we moved over to the main hotel to be closer to the amenities for the children. We were a party of seven; two grandparents, two mammies and three grandchildren aged 10,4 and 4. In the main hotel we had mostly the same items in our room except for the sauna however there was a sauna available. The beds once again were very comfortable the rooms are designed very well with a bedroom room inside a bedroom room which the children loved. There was a lovely warm swimming pool, a fabulous play centre, a bowling facility, sleds to go sledding and the opportunity to try out practice for cross country skiing. We were twenty minutes from the airport and ten or 15 minutes from Santas Village. Taxis were super fast to arrive reception phoned for us and the prices were consistent. There is a cafe with hot chocolate and rolls etc and beer for the adults. Breakfast was great lots on offer and the entire accommodation was superbly clean. The rooms were cleaned every day, the cleanliness was fantastic. Staff at the Santasport were so so friendly and helpful. We had requested if we could have an earlier access time to one of the rooms and the staff facilitated this. If you are researching family accommodation like we were then I would definitely choose Santasport.

Nice, good-sized apartment, clean and comfortable beds. Free parking. Close to all amenities. 10-12mins drive to Santa Claus Village. Swimming is included in the price, but we didn't end up using it. Bowling in the main building. Paid €25 for the hour. There is a forest behind the hotel. We followed the winter walking trail. Did about 4 miles. Stunning snowy scenery. Breathtaking. Plastic sledges left around the grounds which you could use and when we were finished with them we just left them for the next person. Laundry room in the basement of the apartment block, which was free to use, including dryers. You just need your own washing powder. Helpful staff at reception.

Nothing much. The only thing was that there wasn't a sieve so we had to buy one which we took home with us. I knew there was no tea towel having read the reviews before we came, so I brought my own from home.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Perfect for our needs. Great value for money will stay again. Good location close to Santa Claus village. Food in the restaurant was good and reasonable. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly too. We hired a car rather than rely on buses and taxis so very easy to get around. Very nice pool with slide for the children.

The only negative was that the soft play area was closed for private kids parties on 2 out of the 3 evenings we stayed. Understandable but it would be good if the opening and closing hours were displayed more prominently and clearly and we were warned this could happen beforehand on the hotel information page. This really disappointed our 7 year old granddaughter as the soft play area looked amazing.

Great space , loved the laundry room and equipment

the matrasses were very uncomfortable in Apot 915, this kind of single beds and children matrasses can't be tolerated, clients can't fetmout of the place with back problems, 2 loos but only 1 wash lavabo, there is enough space to install one in this vast shower room no side table on the right side in main bedroom, this is a NO Go Impossible to watch any TV there, only finnish, swedish, 1 english maybe....At least give the clients the possiblitly to watch their Netflix, Youtube with their subscription, no access to HDMI if you have your Amazon Fire Stick but we saw that the tV had HDMI\ When you have outdoors activities whole day long so you want to relax indoors in the evening

Clean and functional apartment metres away from the main hotel complex. Good size for a family of 4 but certainly on the smaller side. Main building houses indoor pool, saunas, jacuzzi etc included in price, soft play for 5 Euro per child, per day and paid bowling. Other sports equipment to hire on site. Easy access over the small road to frozen football field for sledging and link to cross country ski route, biking track and walking trail. 5 mins can ride to Ounasvaara so good, relatively cheap option as a base for doing some local skiing.

Apartment is pretty small once sofa bed is pulled out (the two tiny bedrooms only fit 3 people (one double and one single) so sofa bed needed if family any bigger). Few basics included like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet roll and shower gel but no tea, coffee, sugar cleaning sponges or tea towels. Kitchen could do with some basics like a perspex jug and colander/sieve.

Beautiful location on the outskirts of the city and super friendly, helpful staff. We stayed at the apartment side and had plenty of space, a beautiful glass balcony, and a lovely sauna. It was well stocked with dishes and utensils if you plan to cook in the apartment. Rented sleds and had lots of sledding opportunities on-site and directly across the street. Breakfast was a great value. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wish the indoor play center had more convenient evening hours. They are open until 4pm most days and then reopen around 8/8:30pm but that was too late for my kids and my kids were still busy in the snow in the afternoon. A 6:30pm-ish option after dinner would be amazing. *we knew the hours before we went so this was not an issue for us and we could have planned around it, just noting here for future consideration and so others are aware :)

We travelled with the 3 small kids and stayed in that wonderful hotel. Room was very clean and new, all kitchenware was available, 2 WCs, sauna, 2 bedrooms and 1 living room with kitchen. There is also balcony but it was already too cold time foe us to use it. Hiking trails and groceries shop nearby. Hotel has SPA and children playground that our kids really enjoyed. Breakfast was good, standard one as in Finlands hotels. Hotel has free parking and wifi for the guests. We are especially thankful for an earlier check in possibility, as we came by the nighttrain and were really tired.

Location fantastic, short taxi ride to SCV and ski centre, and a grocery store within walking distance. Very friendly helpful staff. Apartment lovely and warm, lovely closed in balcony to sit on. Breakfast ample food to choose, cereals/bread/fruit/beans/eggs/juices and hot drinks all available.

Possibly an onsite small shop to get milk/bread/snacks etc, but not a real issue as few minutes walk to a store through woods across road.

The apartment was spotless and so comfortable it had everything we needed.we hired sleighs and headed across the road and had lots of fun there is a beautiful walk to a lookout tower and fire pits with a shed that has logs for use we went one evening and toasted marshmallows and watched for the northern lights. The swimming pool bowling alley and play area was great for the kids. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Apartment was well equipped and ideal for our requirements. We had young children with us and the soft play and swimming pool were ideal for the evening.

Instructions in the apartment for operating the hob and dishwasher. There were a number sledges outside when we arrived which previous guests had left and which we used but were removed after a few days by hotel staff. We felt that leaving them there for guests to make use of would have been a nice gesture.
