We stayed with the view of Lake and lotte tower ( signiel) The view is just breathtaking we loved it so much! And the room is very spacious and luxe! We generally ended the stay fitness club and swimming pool is great amazing view from everywhere. Breakfast was fabulous too.

We loved the view of the lake and landmark tower but… if this is your first time visiting Seoul, it might feel a bit away from the centre. Seoul is big city so wherever you stay, one place to the other seems far away. There are malls and attraction park but for us a bit less exciting area but hotel on its own was fabulous!

Very nice facilities. Breakfast was very good but too much for every day.

I had mosquitoes in my room on the 26th floor -twice! On the first day/night so I woke up with bites on my forehead and ear. I killed it in the morning but too late. Then again two days later after the cleaners came again (first time) there were two more and I was bit again. I had to ask them not to leave the door open during the next room cleaning. Maybe because it is near the beautiful lake but a 5 star hotel should not have mosquitoes on an upper floor. And they offered me nothing for my suffering. They could have refunded breakfast or something.

It was a very comfortable and beautiful stay, with excellent layout (very spacious for the 3 of us in the corner Manifique Family room, including 3 large suitcases) in a soothing, luxurious colour scheme for my frazzled self and sufficient plugs where you need them (my two teens have lots of devices to charge up!). Beds were comfortable, smart room devices (tap on screen to request for amenities etc), excellent shower facilities/pressure. Even little things e.g. lots of hangers in two cupboards so I didn't have to call housekeeping to send more like in other hotels. Location was great for Lotte World and its associated malls; really walking distance of a few mins to the mall/underground sub and about 10-15 mins to the theme park. Staff was easy to communicate with, gave great help in recommendations and proactively writing down addresses in Korean; housekeeper was very thorough in daily cleaning and fast with ad hoc requests. The pools and spa were also looking good, but you'd have to book pool slots in advance!

laundry was expensive to me e.g washing a T-shirt was about SGD$16 and pyjamas SGD$20-30 so a package deal for laundry would be beneficial to guests who are staying for a few days. (so I rated it a 9, otherwise would have been a 10) I did have some issues with my luggage when I first checked in as the rooms weren't ready. Also the concierge and reception were on different floors, so they took some time to locate my bags; but it was efficiently sorted out in the end.

1. Labels of room name give indication of different categories Luxury is actually basic So this must be mentioned clearly to the guests 2. Swimming pool and spa were fully booked and crowded 3. I found it a bit strange to have the lobby in the 6th floor and it’s inconvenient to changes elevators each time

Excellent service and location. The hotel is right in front of the lake (very nice for walking) and shopping malls and so many places to eat. Also, if you want to take subway, it's 5 minutes to the staton. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and it had a small kitchen and a washing machine. I also had a nice lake view and The Lotte World. All the furniture was very modern and the bathroom was pretty big.

Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Everything was extremly clean and in good order. Location is super convenient as it is only a building away from the Lotte mall.

We were initially told a few times some basic things were not available such as the baby high chair and an extra blanket. They were however accommodated fairly quickly (within the first two days - we stayed for a week).

The fact I proposed to my wife there and she said yes

the latitude receptionist was awkward because she didn’t believe me when I said I actually am staying at the hotel she went out of her way to verify that I was in fact staying there she didn’t do that to any of the guest that we’re waiting in line

the hotel is brand-new and service is better than in certain luxury hotel of Seoul. staff is extremely helpful and professional. very nice amenities such as 24/24 gym, swimming pool, good cafe / restaurant. I highly recommend and will stay again there Merci to all the great staff of Sofitel Ambassador Seoul you are true to what hospitality service should always be.

The elevators in the hotel are confusing an annoying. You have to take 1 elevator to the 6th floor to reception and switch to another elevator to get to your room. So every time it takes 2 elevator trips to get upstairs.
