Great room and location

Breakfast was closed very sharp at 10:30 and often the buffet not refilled after 10:00. After staying there for 7 days in a junior suite they were not offering us a late checkout until 12 am.

Superb service from the amazing InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Grand Seoul Parnas team! My family and I felt so welcome throughout our stay; every precious staff welcomed us with a warm smile and was extremely helpful. We didn't have difficulty communicating as all the staff spoke English well. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean! I would also like to highlight that the concierge, reception, and housekeeping team did a very good job on their part, and we can't wait to return to South Korea and stay with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Grand Seoul Parnas again!

all the staff are super helpful. everyone speaks English and goes above and beyond to help. the housekeeping staff were also the best! my partner is not the neatest person and they would even fold his clothes that he’d leave all over the room. there is a do not disturb button and a “make room” button. can’t speak for other room types but the junior king suite was amazing.

my partner was here for a conference that was held in the same hotel. for him it was super convenient and they also have a taxi line in front of the hotel so it’s easy for you to get around. while taxis are obv more expensive than metro, getting a taxi to go across the River to areas like itaewon for example are still super cheap, less than $20 USD. the downside is that if you’re going to all the other neighborhoods, there can be soooo much traffic and so taking a train would mean you’re at least 40 min from neighborhoods across the river, which most of the popular areas are. the other thing is that there aren’t a lot of room service options but honestly there’s late night shops super close by like 7 eleven and GS25 which have amazing food anyway when you’re in a pinch

The only issue was the AC. Temperature wise no problem but it was hard to get a perfect airspeed. I ended up with shutting it off instead of having a breeze over my face the whole night. I don’t want to get sick due to air conditioning.

The hotel was situated next to the Parnas Mall and Co-Ex Star Mall. Just take the hotel lift direct to the Mall and from there it is an easy 3 minute indoor walk to the subway station. The Junior King Suite was spacious and comfortable and there was a good selection of food at the breakfast.

A minor point - there could have been more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and robes. The tea selection in the room was meagre (3 teabags) for 3 adults and the choice of tea was unusual - fruity teas.

The location is great - connected to COEX mall and Hyundai mall through the basement. Room was comfortable.

I have a toddler and I booked the hotel after looking at the pictures of the facilities, including the pool. When I was checking in, i was quite shocked when the receptionist told me that the hotel's pool does not allow children to enter. I am not sure if this is written anywhere in the hotel's description here on booking.com, but I certainly did not notice that rule. If I had known this before the trip, I would not have chosen the hotel. The receptionist told me I can use the pool of the other intercontinental hotel about 15 mins away if I notify the reception in advance - if you have a toddler you probably know how ridiculous this sounds. In general, I thought the service was quite average.

This hotel was amazing and quite simply stunning! The rooms were well appointed with comfy beds and high quality bathroom with a bidet toilet. Housekeeping did an impeccable job every day and the front of house staff were will to help with dinner and taxi reservations. We were both very impressed with the standard of the breakfast and the choice on offer with everything from pastries, eggs, meats, breads, dim sum as well as typical Korean dishes. The hotel is in the heart of Gangnam, just above the Coex mall/Starfield library and is easy reach to the subway. Since Seoul is so big, it's about 45 minutes to the main tourist sights like the royal places, Namsan tower and Gwangjang.

Nothing! Maybe a couple of small improvements for the bathroom like a few more hooks and a better hairdryer.

The hotel and staff really made our stay so wonderful. We had a beautiful garden view from our room, the rooms were clean and the staff always ensured that everything was restocked accordingly. Our booking included breakfast (which I highly recommend). Breakfast at the the Grand Kitchen was stunning and the food was incredible. The concierge was also another highlight of our incredible stay. They were so helpful in helping us find good-priced and beautiful flower arrangements last-minute and even reached out to the flower shop to ensure someone would be there to assist us once we got there. The flower shop was in the Coex mall nearby (not the one in the hotel) and the arrangements were a good price and stunning. The hotel is also connected to the Coex mall and Starfield library which includes a movie theater, shops, restaurants, and department stores. Everything you need is here (including the subway for easy and efficient transportation). I would also recommend the Airport taxi to and from the airport (also connected to the hotel). We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend the Grand Intercontinental for the staffs incredible service, lovely location, excellent/clean rooms, convenience, and beautiful garden views. Thank you to all that made our stay and experience so refreshing. This was our first time staying in Seoul, South Korea and I would highly recommend this hotel and location to anyone.

If you are planning for a group or private tour be ready to start 30-40 minutes early as the hotel is a bit far from the main bus station like city hall and myeongdong.

I stayed at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel for almost 8 nights, and I must say that our stay was a 10/10. Everything was exceptional from the checking in process, to the spacious rooms, to the breakfast, to the daily housekeeping services, and the concierge. A special shout-out to the best concierge staff you can ask for!! Special thanks to Steven, Brian, Eric, Andrew, and James for their excellent assistance and cooperation throughout our stay. They helped us in recommending the main attraction sites and the best food spots you can eat at it Seoul. The location of the hotel was also perfect. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul.
