The hotel is a convenient distance from LAX, making overnight stays between flights easy. The breakfast is good and the coffee great! The facilities are nice, with outdoor seating areas.

Calling, after arriving at LAX, to arrange for the shuttle to come and pick one up means the wait can be quite long and the outdoor area where this waiting occurs isn't all that pleasant.

The location is great, only minutes from LAX, and they have a free shuttle service. The hotel has a pool; the beds are great; there are a mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities in the room, plus tea and coffee are free to take away throughout the day in the dining area, where there's also a microwave for guests' use. The staff are very friendly and responsive, we were given a late checkout free of charge on several occasions. Across the street from the hotel there's a lovely Ralph's supermarket, plus numerous eateries. The rooms and public areas are very clean.

The disinfectant they use in the rooms has an unpleasant smell, we noticed this every time we were staying at the hotel. The breakfast is good, but they use single use cutlery and plates/cups, which makes for an awful lot of rubbish! I greatly disapprove of that, and I don't see why this can't be changed. You have to ring the hotel for the shuttle service which is very expensive if you have to use an overseas phone, and then after listening to endless options nobody ever answers the phone. Plus it's hard to know where to wait for the shuttle.

Good location. Close to LAX and beaches. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Room had a smell. Rooms are tight for a two queen room. Both beds touched a wall on one side. Bathroom was small.

Very clean and comfortable

We were unable to get information about the shuttle. Each time we asked we were sent the same automated reply. We don't live in USA so unable to call. An email address would have been good to message them through. I don't think they read our messages.

Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean, everything was well taken care of. The location is good for the airport. There are quite a few options available for eating nearby from In & Out Burgers to sit down restaurants all within a short distance from the hotel. Even though parking is technically not on site and a short walk away, it is nice that one can park their car when staying at the hotel.

LAX. I hate flying into and out of LAX and try to avoid it as much as possible. Los Angeles has gone into the toilet and it is awful. I am a native Californian for more than 58 years but wouldn't send my worst enemy there now. They have destroyed the region. The Marriott staff help make the trip better. If you must travel there stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in El Segundo.

The hotel room is clean and spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The morning breakfast was great, free good coffee 24/7. The hotel allows hotel guests to bring outside food to eat at the dining area after breakfast time. The outdoor area was also very well maintained and comfortable to hang out.

Our King Suite room did not to have a microwave, which was listed as one of the amenities on Booking.com. We chose this room because we needed to use the microwave to prepare food for our toddler. So we were disappointed. The hotel parking is also very expensive, which is $30 per day. One can try to find free street parking behind the hotel which will save quite some money. Lastly, too much use of plastic cutlery for food. it will be great to find an alternative that is more environment friendly.

The location is great. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean, well kept and comfortable. The Breakfast was good and plentiful. Everything was great, except for the fact you have to fly into and out of LAX.

The parking lot is a little bit off property, but considering everything else, it is doable. I never want to fly into LAX and really don't want to go to Los Angeles again, but if I have to, the Fairfield Inn and suites by Marriott is definitely the place to stay.

The breakfast was great I appreciate made sure the tables stayed clean and clear. The location is great of shopping centers literally walking distance also options in gas. The paid parking is conveniently available. I loved sitting by the pool at night perfect setting. The staff was great from being to end. Thank you thank you thank you

I prepaid/prebooked however reception tried twice taking $620 from card when it should’ve been the $150 for incidentals. I asked if she was sure if it was $150. I found out about the $620 after calling the bank plus speaking to a male receptionist. I dealt with this little situation not big deal but thankfully I was billed 3 times. I am thankful my bank caught it

- Free shuttle to airport and close proximity - comfortable beds - clean room - basic but good breakfast - pool and gym - lots of good places to eat and shop beside it

- staff weren’t the most helpful with a few requests we had and one night staff was quite rude

The staff could have a bit more welcoming and engage customers initially. Once WE initiated conversation, they were polite and helpful. But standing in front of someone and have them not acknowledge you (or worse, engaging two other coworkers in gossip) isn't the best initial impression.
