Manhattan Inn & Suites

Well I've known the Owners for a long time. They are like family at this point. I sublet a two bedrooms in a house with 3 other ppl. And every holiday they have parties. It use to be me, my mom and bro would have to leave because we don't smoke and they do so, we get to leave during the partying! It sucks but we don't pay as much rent. We love going to Manhattan because it's convenient to work, grocery stores, bars and restaurants in a nice area. We never have to worry because they are always honest about the price, our room and its always comfortable!

Well, the entry and exit is always difficult but, after a while you master it in the traffic!

Although on a very busy road, the room was quite sound-proof and we slept well. The room was spacious for our needs - the extra bed being useful for our clothes etc. Walking distance to some amazing (pricey) shops and restaurants, with great supermarkets too. I'd recommend the Thai massage place just up the road - such a treat. Arty, the lady on reception, was super helpful and kind. Just down the road was the start of the Veterans' Parkway, a beautiful bike-free walking trail that leads all the way to the beach, just a couple of kilometres away.

The towels were a little thin and worn and the bathroom vanity area was small. A built-in cupboard would have made all the difference under the vanity.

Only one car park instead of two cars for two occupants…room needed dusting…toilet paper non sufficient value…need to update bathroom to present cleanliness….received the review after leaving the property m…

Room was very clean, bed was quite comfortable, motel staff were very pleasant. Road noise not bothersome. Right across the road from a fancy outdoor mall with lots of food options.

Walls are very thin so could hear conversations in the next room. Would be nice to have slightly nicer toiletries and a box of tissues in the room.

The location is directly opposite the Manhattan Village Mall so shopping on a layover between flights is easy. The Veteran's walkway down to Manhattan Beach is behind the hotel and a lovely way to walk to the beach and all of the restaurants and shopping there. The rooms are large, with a fridge and microwave. Room and bathroom were spotless. Room 103 has two queen beds and does not have the traffic noise that some rooms would have. Second visit to this hotel and both times have been very pleasant. It meets a price point. Staff are very friendly and have been able to check in early both visits.

Clean and comfortable and quiet! Easy parking. Would stay again! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Easy control of temperature. Great location. Close (ish) to beach and very close to great shopping.

Well that place is like a second home, and I appreciate how I'm treated. I've known the staff for years and we are treated so well. No complaints.

Well, I used to have trouble with the toilets but now they have excellent flushing, that's more important for me then anything. I'm very happy everytime!

Every other place I’ve stayed in LA has been in a somewhat sketchy area (since I try to pay less). The Manhattan Inn was in a great location! There is a beautiful outdoor mall across the street (easily walkable), and the staff were super nice and accommodating. My partner and I agreed this will always be our hotel in the future.

Customer service by the manager. She was nice and helpful to myself and my young adult child. It was very helpful that the required registration age is 18 and not 21! The location is convenient, across the street from CPK and the mall.

It was an older property.

The room was excellent. It always is, every time I stay. It's always quiet or moderate (normal) noise, but not noisy! I have to commend the staff, the owners clean themselves and put in the extra effort to give you towels or additional toilet paper & give you privacy. It feels like home away from home. I appreciate them, so much. It's hard to find humble people in the world. These people are kind, they don't judge and are respectful. They maintain the prices, they are never one way once you book & once you get there, there are other fee's that they fail to tell you about. You are down the street from Manhattan beach; you are next to restaurants, a gas station within walking distance, the bus is nearby incase you don't have a car & that will take you to the local train station if you want to go further out and site see. It's ideal, you can go for a walk or run in the neighborhood it's nice and safe and you can enjoy a good nights rest! I hope they keep the prices low, but I would recommend this place to anybody!

The only things I don't like, is the entrance and exit. It could get difficult the way it is designed. The traffic can get difficult, and you really have to prepare at least 200ft before you get there, to make an "ONLY" right turn. Plus, the exit is a bit steep & you may hit your bumper. Only one way in & one way out. But, other than that, that's not much to complain about!
