Amazing place to stay we loved having a little kitchen to make breakfast every morning to start our day. So close to the beach, food, & shopping we walked around and really soaked in all we could.

Showers sometimes wouldn’t get warm enough for my husband.

Staff were all amazing, friendly, helpful. Location is great if you want to be right near the beach and the action. All basic facilities available, including great snack packs each day

Building is old and tired. it’s clean and in working order, but the showers are old and need renovation, kitchen facilities old

Close walk to food, mall, amenities and beach. About a 8 min walk to Waikiki beach. Although I was out right across from the elevators, it was not as loud as I thought it was gonna be. Each stay I’ve been there, it was peaceful inside from other tenants.

I’ve stayed here twice in the last year now. Last year the hot water was not working in the shower. I had to call multiple times for them to fix it. I figured this year, it would be different in a different room. Nope. They have these silly hot water limiters on the shower heads. The toilet would not flush all the way unless you hold the handle down until it completely flushed. Just annoying. I was put on the street side (ocean side). It is loud from street traffic all night. Loud obnoxious exhaust from motorcycles and cars was annoying. If you have a baby, might not want to be on this side.

We liked the central location as it was in the middle of everywhere we needed to go and the bus stop was just across the road. Also my family loved the tea and coffee offering in the lobby. The kids enjoyed the pool. The rooms were of good size.

The air-conditioning in our room was warm. We left it on full blast all the time and still felt like it was just on fan whilst my sister's room 2 floors above was cool and comfortable. The bathroom is old and smells like it too and we're not sure if the exhaust fan was working either. Also there was a lack of power points to plug chargers into. There were no cutlery or cups in the pantry and we had to request for some.

The rooms were a pretty decent size for what we paid, amenities were amazing! We had everything we needed. Water fountain downstairs, complimentary tea and coffee and a free snack pack everyday which had enough food for 2 people. We chose this hotel as it was a cheaper option compared to other hotels and I was really happy with all the bonus stuff we got for staying here. The pool was nice and cool and not crowded most days so you can relax in it. I loved out balcony too, we had an amesome view from the 16th floor and spent alot of time out there.

I did not enjoy the smell of weed on the balcony most nights, I believe it was other people out on their balconies and I'm sure there would have been policies on smoking in the hotel considering there were families with young children staying there. I couldn't stand the smell and could not enjoy my balcony most nights.

on the affordable side for someone like me who is not doing well financially anymore due to semi-retirement. The location was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Staff is very nice. I would stay again

I did not expect a perfect room, but the bathroom should be checked on unit 493. Some plaster is broken away at the base outside of the shower stall. The internet did not work all of the time. there was a big disturbance from near the pool in the middle of the night with police, but I cannot blame that on your hotel. However, I lost a lot of sleep that night because of the noise for about one hour.

I liked the mini kitchen with stove, mini fridge , sink. I did request a microwave which was awesome, as we did not used the stove. Maybe some sort of wooden board could be placed over the stove for the microwave or a shelf built over the stove for a microwave to be included in the room. We liked the coffee but more coffee pods could have been given as well as more tea bags. I did ask for more. We also loved the snack packs given daily. We also thought maybe a morning buffet for guests might be arranged in the morning at the lava tube restaurant for guests. The beds mattress could be updated as well as the pillows. The shower pressure is great and always hot water. We loved the fact of a laundry trolley left in the hallway to add out our room towels. The service from your staff attending our room and our questions was great. The room was adequate for our 9 night stay. We loved the location but wondered why the buildings next to the lava tube restaurant was not taken down. It made the area look a bit scary or undesired. This hotel is great for walking distance to the beach, the stores, the international market, Dukes market, restaurants, busses. We also liked Nickie for questions about tours around the island. She was helpful and never pushed us to buy tours. Very knowledgeable. Her co-worker Doug filled in for her on her one day off. We booked a tour with him. However they do not share commission so please stick with one person. She had mentioned she is available even on her day off. We didn’t call her as there was time constraints and we thought Doug would have told us to call her also then she would continue to get her commissions but he was helpful in our next tour however they do not share the commissions. We did not try out the pool as we went to the beach. But we were happy we had a choice pool or beach. We loved our stay at Ohio Waikiki and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Beds were uncomfortable as well as the pillows ? The mattresses are hard and old. Could be changed. Maybe the rooms could be painted, refreshed, as they look like they need some TLC

We stayed on the 17th floor, a birthday gift from my boyfriend's mom, we really enjoyed our stay here, they had a tour guide at the table once you walked in on the right, really helpful, we had really good green tea ice cream across the street on another side of the road we had really good clam chowder at the fish market, the beach was a walk but loved every minute here, thank you Ohia Waikiki Studio Suites truly made our stay a wonderful stay they have a parking lot, they have a tikik bar in the building downstairs, they have a pool, they offer coffee in the morning, the staff was wonderful and helpful, and they offer baggage storage, they have refill water station for useable water bottles.

We love the Location (a minute walk to waikiki strip) and the staff. The view of mountain combined with ocean and the city is lovely specially at top floors. Despite the dated facilities and rooms, the staff hospitality made up for it and made it a pleasurable stay. Kalia, the front desk personnel, was very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.

We hope they can update even just the bathroom. The rooms gives out a nostalgic feel which is nice and if they would modernize the bathroom, it would give more comfort.

Location was good and the value for the area was great. Staff was wonderful, friendly and personable. Tip if you are up higher on floor 11 you get hot water by running just the hot and waiting 5 min or more. Maintenance guy advised it's an old building and if not many people using hot water it takes longer to get it up to the higher floors.

Took till the night before we left to get hot water straightened out. Kept missing the maintenance guy, turns out you have to run out hot for almost 5 min before you get any on the higher floors.
