there were roaches coming in every night in our bathroom from under the toilet we had to kill.

The staff made us feel so at home and were very kind. I have a handicapped husband and they allowed us to park in the "handicapped" spot without a handicapped tag...they informed the security guard. This enabled us to be very close to our room and made things so much easier for my husband. Soaps, lotions, shampoos were nice. When the coffee maker and the tv did not work on the first day; maintenance came right away and resolved the issues. You also got nice little perks from the hotel for activities. The place is beautiful - right on the beach and we would definitely return because everyone was so very nice.

Can't really think of anything .. maybe a restaurant on site? There are so many food businesses surrounding the area, it really isn't needed.

I liked the location, nearby restaurants, beach, free DVD, coffee, pool. Everything except down below.

There is a safe without doors.

Location was great, especially with an oceanfront unit. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean. very nice and accommodating staff. Garden area beautiful. new barbecues, working very well.

not enough chairs on the beach. smoking used to be confined to a certain area but now people can smoke on the beach. LED lights in room are on the cold side, warmer ones would be more comfortable. no cook top, only microwave. Overpriced, paid almost $400/night for extended stay but had to book relatively short term.

The location right on the beach can't be beat. It's worth the $ to upgrade to beachfront room. The grounds are lush and pretty with lots of flowers and tiki torches at night. Beautiful sunrises over the ocean.

Room maintenance is needed. This is typical on Kauai. Wobbly table, patio screen door won't stay on its track, one air conditioner not working so a second unit has been plopped in front of the view window...not the best when you're paying top dollar.

First of all, the front desk staff were very cordial and helpful; they kept our luggage until the room was ready. Since it was taking longer than usual to have the room ready, they upgraded us to another room with a beautiful ocean view

A minor amenity that would have been nice is if they had coffee in the lobby, and if they provided some tea bags and water bottles in the room (in addition to just coffee pods) as well.

The place even though is a little bit outdated it's amazing. Right in front of the beach, one hot tub a pool. The receptionist welcomed us with some collars, a box of chocolates and also told us about everything that they had to offer. I was actually quiet surprised by all the amenities they had. It exceeded my expectations. I think it's worth the value considering how expensive kauai already is!

no daily housekeeping very tight parking everything else was exceptional the grounds, plants, etc were immaculate

Beautiful beach, ocean view room was fabulous. Pool and hot tub were lovely. Ģrounds are very well manicured. BEAUTIFUL gardens all throughout the property. Easy access to drugstore and ABC groceries. Really chill, good place to watch sunrises over the ocean, drink mai tais and RELAX.

Things close early in Kapa'a. COVID has effected availability of restaurants and mobility.
